Guide to Survive our Future Socialist Government
February 25, 2008 | Isara

Posted on 02/25/2008 2:41:29 PM PST by Isara

Folks, whether you avoid thinking about it or not, we may be governed by socialists in all three branches of our government next year. We are going to get a Liberal administration one way or another. We already have Liberal judges all over the country. In the worst-case scenario, we would also get a bigger-margin Democratic congress with Liberals in the leadership positions. As conservatives we don't feel doom and gloom all the time as Liberals do (except now they have 'hope and change'). Lives go on. A good thing about being a conservative is that we prepare for a rainy day.

We can't do anything to change the mess that is going on in our country overnight. It is an accumulation of the ills in the society, planned or unplanned, from mal-education to entitlement mentality, Oprahfication, dishonest media, immorality, multi-culturalism, political correctness, motivations initiated by envy, fear and/or hatred and so on. It seems that all the fruits of these errors are going to ripen at the same time.

Let's brainstorm what may happen and prepare for it right now. We still have almost a year to do whatever necessary to protect our families and ourselves. Hopefully, we still have strength left afterwards to reclaim our country back to be a shining city upon the hill again.

Whenever I get paranoid, I start stockpiling rice, beans, sugar, coffee, peanut butter, tuna, bottled water, and matches. For some reason, I always feel better if I have all that in a “bug-out kit,” along with a back-up supply of blankets and clothes which I keep in the trunk of my car, as well as some hunting knives. My friends all think I’m nuts.

Oh, and vodka.

Good start. Don't forget enough fuel to get to where you've decided to roost, and be sure to leave while you can, before road traffic is restricted.

We can be nuts together. Its only paranoia until s**t hits the fan, then its called preparation. My bug-out bag is coming along nicely and it also includes a couple serious survival knives as well as many other goodies I will not disclose.

Keep in mind how to avoid bridges and tunnels around big cities, thus looking for alternative routes.

LOL ... I’m oblivious to the obvious, but I’m certain I will hit any target once it is pointed out to me.

Maybe start listing myself as minority on government forms.

You should also list yourself as a "Non-smoker" and always report to your soon-to-be government **doctor** that you seldom consume alcohol or ingest trans-fats, even if those are total lies.

Oh, and make sure you remain totally anonymous on websites like...this one. That'll come in handy too.

I am surrounded by woods, with so many deer and squirrels I could eat for four lifetimes.

Have guns and ammo, a firepit outside to cook on, a crossbow in case I run out of ammo (lots of extra arrows), a big lake nearby with lots of fish, a tankful of propane to heat with if power goes out (for a while anyway), and a garden.

I live so far out in the sticks the looters would take a while to find me, and then they’d be sorry. Oh, and I have a freshwater (spring) water source close enough to walk if I need it.

Ummmm, websites like this one will be banned. There's not a doubt in my mind that they're going to target FR first.

Oh yeah, good point. The demonization of certain websites will commence and they will be shut down as “hate-sites.”

Meanwhile, MoveOn and DU will soldier on into the future!

The not-quite accurate words were in the second paragraf of Isara's original post, to which you had replied in #51 regarding residence in a preferable state at a time when FedGov policies were objectionable, at a minimum. Accordingly, I was agreeing with you, since effective means of dealing with state or local governmental entities would certainly be among the approaches that might not change anything overnight- but might be.
