10 AM Rules Committee meeting (C-span2 LIVE all day)
11 AM Stupak press conference
12 PM Demonstration at the Capitol
3 PM Obama meets with the Democratic caucus
Sunday
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.
Mistake #1: There is no free stuff from the government. I know you know that, but in the last month I have had to explain this to 4 people who should know better.
Until they pay wages in cash and have a Matthew the tax collector stand by and demand you hand over 40-50% of your earning, a lot of people will never get it.
Jackson should NEVER be allowed to compare himself to MLK, Jr. — for him to do so is blasphemy. NOTHING Jackson has done in his life since King was murdered kept the dream alive — they repackaged the dream, turned it into a nightmare, and now people are more divided by race and gender than ever before. And, as far as any “slurs” - I do call BS as well - but then few people deserve to be regarded in that way. Jackson is one that DESERVES that label, IMHO (his picture should be next to the definition in the dictionary - the ARCHAIC definition of the word and NOT the “slur” definition).

What I can’t grasp then, is why the guy continues to be reluctant to trash that plan. Seriously. I’ve seen him interviewed on the subject and he still thought it could be morphed to become healthy. I can’t take the guy serious.

I’m quite familiar with that very understandable feeling.
A fellow at church said he’d read of someone’s prediction that a certain traitor was going to be . . . targeted . . . by some unknown group or whatever . . . and would end up with a conversion experience. I’m exceedingly skeptical but glad to pray for it, if possible.
Trouble is, I’d think that the handlers would be happy to take said person out more emphatically short of angelic protection.
And as of the present, it’s NOT the good angels involved.
