God rest his soul, also. This is getting to be a too-often occurrence as of late. Thank you for the link, Darksheare.

We got him to eat “whole belly” clams that day! LOL

Oh he had trepidation when I described them, but he was a real trooper and enjoyed them.
He even wore the lobstah bib! LOL

My we had fun!

Chris was hoping to make Commander before retirement, but it was not to be.

Still as a Lt Commander he was the highest ranking mustang that I called friend.

It’s a darn shame his retirement was so short. :(

Yes, He had one heck of a sense of humor!

Late on the night of the lobster/clam dinner, He shared his knowledge of “Ukrainian Bombers”.

That led to much hilarity, and we only drank like a 1/4 of the bottle, LOL Whoo boy!

Chris led a very interesting life from what I could gather.
He seemed to enjoy seeing the world “as it is”

I had a grand time yukking it up with him and we were both howling, because YOU were howling!

I hadn't heard from him for months, then late yesterday afternoon a freepmail from tongue-tied. Alas...but I am so thankful to know of his passing, that we have lost a friend and can say good-bye, and not just lost contact.

He will be missed.

Some pictures he sent from his helo school in Ukraine.
