The hospital was a Catholic hospital (with Nuns, of course). He arrived there just as the Nuns were being confronted by some looters, and they were screaming and they were afraid they would be shot, and then here came the Marines to protect them, just in time...

"Had only one patient there, believe it or not, a newborn baby that was born by cesearean section, and the mother named him GEORGE."

"We toured some of the worst slums I have ever seen. They live in utter filth. They are Shia. etc... talking about the children (scores and scores and scores) who had been shot by the Fedayeen....

So tragic. Glad that Bob Arnot is telling the truth about what he is seeing. Just heard Ollie say that this has been one of the toughest days. Four marines hit by a suicide bombing. He says they are getting good care.

Alot of gunfire, alot of mortar fire. Did not see or witness or hear about it (must have been referring to the suicide bombing)...

Today it's the Wild West around here... lots of explosions, hard to tell which one might have been the suicide bombing.

He just asked who's light that was on the Mosque, and the Iraqi with him told him it was CBS's light.

(I LOVE how relaxed and team-oriented he is in his pre-report conversations with the people on the other end of the phone line. Contrast his demeanor with the biiiiioootch.)
