Very, very interesting. This has long been a point of contention on these bc threads.
A lot of people have tried to make the argument that because the Constitution doesn't define NBC, that anyone with even the most tenuous hold on American citizenship can be considered eligible for POTUS.
This seems to argue the reverse.
If Orly entered it as evidence in the Keye’s suit, she must have a reasonable level of confidence in the document. But of course we should use some discretion about it.
Zero’s non-natural born citizen status doesn’t require a foreign birth in any case.

I’m here and getting up to speed...
“IF” this document is real, in addition to Obama (and his wife) being in a whole lot of trouble, so are some of his aides, campaign staff, U.S. Government officials, Senators, Representatives, 50 Secretaries of State, Hawaiian officials, and....Hawaiian Hospital officials (taking money for charity under the auspices that Obama was born there).
The list of people who are going to be in trouble is staggeringly large. Can’t forget the media malpractice too.
To mix my metaphors, this is the tip of the iceberg for Obama’s house of cards.
It looks genuine to me as well, having names and places.
Kinda scary.
If it is authentic, then this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest fubars that has ever happened in America.
And someone could hang for it. It may be that alot of people will hang before it’s over.
It would be impossible to blame a group of people without having B. H. Obama’s name at the top of the list.
With a perfectly registered identical signature and matching folds, down to the differing directions? I doubt it.
This is so simple! If it is a Forgery, which it most probably isn’t! then Obama can pull his Original “Hawaian Birth Certificate” out of his Box which he brags about in his “MEMOIRS” written by the Unrepentant Terrorist and Pentagon Bomber and Murderer, William Ayers! Anyone of Us can produce Our Legal Birth Certificate, if not within minutes, at least within a few days, and this Basshat OBOZO has spent over a Million Dollars in Legal ees to keep His Hidden! Note the absence of seal in the page that isn’t torn...It’s the colored photo copy. Torn copy is thr original.

Is there an easy artificial document aging software program or something? Who posted the fake, and why? Was it guys from the Daily Kos trying to hide their role in posting the original Obama COLB forgery?
No kidding. The tear is too thick to be a normal tear. There's a sizable vertical chunk missing.
It's actually FAR better than what Obama has presented, thus far. If this won't hold up, what does that say about Obama's alleged COLB?

The Photocopy would not reproduce the embossed seal that well... They are the same paper with different color settings.

My 2 cents:
The second image is a photo"chop" job of the first. Pay close attention to the top of the "T" in "BIRTH" in the top right corner. Notice how the light reflection is the exact same as the 2nd photo"chop" image. Also notice to the left side of the photo"chop" image, bits and pieces of the "table cloth" can be seen that were left in, as well as the roughly edited edges that still retain some of the light reflection. It is my opinion that the 2nd image is just a clumsy touch-up of the first image.
Now for "is it real?" I honestly don't know. This is just my opinion about the two images that were provided.
The strip removed from the document could have been done to authenticate the age of the document.

Well, that's kind of a problem, looking ahead.
I've said for months that you can get any papers you want on the street in Mombasa, I'm quite sure I could produce a convincing Kenyan birth certificate for Eye of Unk containing any details you want, for the right price and given about six weeks.
Given the importance of this THIS paper, and given that the Director of Coast Provincial General Hospital went on record in January 2009 that he had searched the paper records for 1960-1961 and found no such document (linked at DU, YMMV), the ONLY way such a document will have any impact is for it to be authenticated by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.
I don't imagine the present Government of Kenya would authenticate it, even if they were in a position to do so.

Lots of names linked to that period in time-if Lavender or Miller are historically correct,searches of these other peoples names may yield info.
Actually that seems to be more real to me. It was probally written by a Kenyan hospital worker who was poor at writing English being that it was a srecond language.
But where is that coming from? I do not see it in he copy of the image I have.

These are not two different versions of the same document, they are in fact the same document, with the same staple holes in exactly the same position, the same stain, the same folds, and the very same tiny tear just above the “of” in “ninth day of August” and in three other similar locations. The photos were clearly taken at different time, but except for the edges, the document does not display any significant deterioration.
I do not understand the differences in the edge conditions or the gap in the upper right, which also shows the same strange serrations. The lower photo was clearly taken at a later time. Perhaps the edge serrations and the missing piece at the top represent samples of the paper taken for authentication.
Whatever was done to the edges did not result in the loss of any significant amount of material except at the right top.
Any document authenticators out there who can shed any light on this?
Didn't Obama's mom remarry? Could it be that Obama was adopted by the new father around the time of this document? (I don't know much about Obama's past or growing up, but I seem to remember hearing about his mom definitely remarrying at some point.
It didn't oxidize the stain pattern completely since the lower half of the stain doesn't appear there, but that's likely due to the folded section of paper not quite touching the entire stain; the mirrored oxidation is at its strongest along the seam, which is to be expected.
If this is a fake, the forger really knew his stuff to cover his arse.

The U.S. emerged from a successful rebellion and could do whatever it wished. Kenya was a creature of English legislation. At least that Registrar Lavender would likely have originally been appointed by the Foreign Office. He would never have used the term "Republic" unless that was accurate. Starting December 12, 1964, however, they could have put a picture of Jomo Kenyatta singing the Internationle at the top of every page for all the English could do about it.
