The Clinton Legacy Cookbook

The only item to escape the Clinton Administration
without DNA on it!

August 27 2000, I posted a simple Thread. That was the beginning of an adventure that has lasted all of these months.

A fun and fanciful look at the world of great food and witty politics expertly blended by renowned master Chef Carlo Morelli!  This 272 page collection of favorite recipes, hilarious cartoons, and whimsical humor is a true recipe for sidesplitting and tummybustin' fun. In gratitude to the collaborative effort of over 200 Freeper contributors, proceeds from the sale of this venture will advance the heroic efforts of the FreeRepublic.com.

Among Chef Carlo's accomplishments, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Empire Cruise Lines, and the site coordinator and Chief of Protocol of the Southern Governors Conference.  He owned or managed over 56 restaurants and hotels, including Houston's world renowned, four-star French restaurant Le Pavillon ; Élan, the award-winning chain of 14 private clubs with nationwide locations; The Cowboy Club, with locations in Houston, Dallas, and Memphis; Cadillac Bar in Houston; and the Rice Rittenhouse Hotel Houston, Continental Plaza Chicago, Century Plaza Hotel Beverly Hills, Crown Center Hotel Kansas City, Houston Oaks Westin....... more

I made it a little earlier than I thought, I just left Maraconi Grill. I met Carlo & bought 2 books. He's a nice guy & I'm looking forward to having time to get into the cookbooks.

Bump for last-minute Christmas shoppers.

Here's a tip for you guys who'd love to get a Clinton Legacy Cookbook for the lady in your life. No, it's not too late. Just print out the colored replica of the book's cover on this thread, wrap it in a pretty little gift box, and put it under the tree for her. Order it when you can. Watch her eyes light up when she opens it!

You can tuck the diamond pendant in the same box, heheh.

I just received my two copies of the cookbook. Carlo, I have over 80 cookbooks and this is among the best! That is, it is practical, well written, and beautifully done. Blessing on thy head and Angelique's (though she is enjoying blessings now in Heaven, undoubtably), because a great deal of work obviously went into it! Thanks very much.

I'd order more immediately, but at the moment I'm buying laptops, Cubes and accompanying games, etc. But I highly recommend the Clinton Legacy cookbook!

Fortunately for me Carlo....Mr. D. was home when they were delivered...otherwise I fear he would have suspected you snuck here to personally autograph them!!!!!! Just got my books, thanks for the autographs. They look great, kudos to the printer. Rarely does the printed art look even close to what the arteest wanted but in this case the front cover color etc. is perfect!

Haven't read much of the content but so far it is hillaryous! Hell, I think I just created a word! (hillaryous)
