First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 4

.... ...

The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!

Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.

The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.

Thank you all very much for your continued support.

P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.

Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

Mo, Jim just posted a list of the new donations from this morning.

Do you think we could move that post to the new thread and also an up-to-date scoreboard to match the new 58%? (I tried to copy it, but it didn't work for me...nothing does!)

We might reach $39,000 today (60% of goal) and if the monthlies go in, we should only have about $10,000 to go to finish.

Might be helpful if all the current information appeared on the same thread.

Is there any way to stop that stupid robot called "Support Free Republic" from posting Interesting on every thread! It really is wasting valuable storage space.

"Well, the loose change actually added up to $21.33."

Great goimg. EdR! It adds up so quickly, and so painlessly! Were it $10 or $20 -- it all makes a difference in the long run --- and for those who want to donate something, but can't commit to a monthly or a quarterly paper donation, this is the ideal answer.

I remember my very first donation, and it made me feel so good -- as tho I was really part of something big. And I was! Thank goodness for Fr.com!
