  • Bush Presses Senate GOP on Immigration

    06/12/2007 12:01:41 PM PDT · 60 of 109
    Gideon Reader to Mr. Mojo
I have just received an extensive form letter from one of my Senators, Mel Martinez.
In his communication, he, in detail, explains to me that the stinking pile on the new carpet is not what I think it is, and that I have not really scented, observed and taken into consideration all of the wondrous benefits to be garnered from that pile, by all. He tells me of the vast expenditure of “government money” to build a state of the art fence that is presently securing our border and preventing persons(of unknown lineage)from darkening our national door. We, he assures me, are fully protected, and that because I perceive what I believe to be less than fully engaged enforcement in the past, is in fact, IN THE PAST.
We are doing more, better, and with our 18,000 NEW Border Patrol Agents on the job; there is no reason to concern ourselves over S-1348.
Furthermore, a ***bi-partisan***blue ribbon task force of Senators, many of them respected jurists and attorney’s from both side of the aisle are working day and night to fine tune and enhance the bill; to make it even better than it was a few days ago.

Martinez then goes on to ask that I contact other members of the senate and House and ask them to support the bill, and “our President who has labored for so long to bring this bill to fruition”.

There is no mechanism to respond to Senator Martinez directly.
    If I could I would say,...”Senator,...S-1348?
It is still a stinking pile of totally unworkable crap, and trying to tell me it is cookie dough does not work any better now than it did last week.

What little credibility the President HAD has gone like the morning fog as the day’s heat rises.
There is NOTHING he can say.
His most eloquent turning of phrase; his clever nuance of language cannot change my mind (Sorry. I could not resist) my mind about PRESIDENT BUSH’S AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALEINS BILL.

    I totally agree.
Everything, every petty excuse and nuance of position has been gone over.
    The issue is clear.
We do NOT have control of our borders.
ILLEGAL ALEINS flood across virtually unimpeded, and the Senate; that American House of Lords & Fools offer them AMNESTY in the guise of another name. The political element charged with providing the security of our borders and who have touted their efforts have “screwed the pooch”.
Instead they have dissembled and feigned and now the incompetent and embarrassed President’s “nice guy” flack is trying to blot up the accident on the carpet, that S1348 is.

Move along. Nothing NEW to hear here.

The court has provided the clearest of clear answers to the problem of what to do with enemy combatants.

When captured on the battlefield, the subjects of inquiry are to be wrung dry of tactical intelligence, regardless of how, searched for strategic intelligence related material, and within seventy two hours released, doubled back as cooperating operatives or killed outright.

Lets go a little bit easy on this poor lost soul.
She is, an unfortunately standard grade product grown in todays current cultural wasteland. Watered generously with foolishness and fertilized with the byproducts of modern elitist effluvia, she is a simple victim of her place in time.
She is no more or less vapid, stupid or insensitive than any other dopey teenager, much more involved with the weighty responsibilities of appropriate selection of navel jewelry, crotch low jeans and eyeshadow, than things substantive or political.
She is what she is. No more no less.
If she passes the test she will be another dumbass citizen, many of them born to citizenship, stopped and questioned on Leno, who does not know where she is in this time/space continuum.

“How long do we have to wait until new elections are called?”

Until the government falls due to a parliamentary lack of confidence vote is passed.(hopefully very soon) Or until the term of office is complete(unlikely). Or the criminal indictment of the PM.(within weeks)
Or until the majority held under the form of a coalition is broken, (very VERY Labor being pulled from the government with the election of Barak as head of the Labor party.)

Olmert was the inheritor, not the elected official.
Sharon invented the Kadima party, many of whose members have not returned to the Likud party. Sharon went kaput and his deputy PM got the role.
He screwed it up, lost a war of deterrence, he viciously attacked his own people, lost the security belt of Gaza(Gush Katif) and is currently the target of more criminal investigations than William Jefferson (D-La), plus is a breath away from being dragged out of the PM’s office, kicking and screaming.
His popularity is at a level that makes George Bush breath easier in that it is so much lower than Bush’s, it makes him look good in comparison.(2%)(It cannot be measured at a point lower than that) All indications are that Kadima will lose as many as four fiths of it's base this next election cycle, as well as the PM, the national leadership, the cabinet and the majority of the Knesset(Parliament).

A debate to see who is more supportive of Israel, Hunter or ‘is Fredness,....?

THAT would prevent ANY crossover votes from the left side; the so called independents who veer a bit from the leftist center.
It would hit their JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSS bone and they would run screaming *ZOG!,ZOG! ZOG!! in a
    trice.

    Whoops!
I should NOT have said that.
Sorry. I apologize. I was not thinking, and I miss spoke just the way that politicians do when they have screwed the pooch.
I am recovering from some surgery and I’m a little woozy from the pain medication.
I was really thinking about a “light stepper” called Lindsey.

Can you see him case as “Jack Wilson” in Shane?
Instead of black leather vest, hat and gloves, it would be more like the leather-man in the Village People, which is what my lovely and talented lady calls the “Grand Bargainers”.

I had a dog; a German Shepherd, who was much MUCH smarter than both Nancy Pelosi AND Babs Boxer, had better smelling breath than John Murtha, was infinitely more trustworthy than William Jefferson, was more coherent than Eddie (He hates that name I am told)Kennedy and does not lick his balls in public like Harry Reid.

Gideon Reader to Leftism is Mentally Deranged
If every time you passed a window,a mirror or other reflective surface, you glanced over and saw a murderous, Jew hating, bitter, stupid and self mired asshole staring back at you, you would be depressed too.

They have been offered a chance to become civilized, time after time, until Cyndi Lauper broke into tears, but those non people; the “Palestinians”, who have no actual past before 1964, obviously no present, and because of their nature, certainly no future, simply do not realize it.

Envy, hate and trust in a violent cult has cemented them firmly in place until their self extinction is complete. Shed no tears for them. Remnants of their tribe will survive but conceal their origins, Palestinian having become synonymous with terrorist, murderer or raging hater. Good riddance.

Yeah. Well, you know what THAT means??
It means that I’ll be on FR a bit less; my time spent looking for a suitable place for relocation.
    Congress persons Shultz-Wasserman (D-Fl) and Hastings(D-Fl)
intellectually and integrity challenged exemplars of the best the Democraps have to offer, are the fools that cover my place of residence, ergo I have ZERO representation.
Bill Nelson is an idiot with papers to prove it, and Martinez is as traitorous a dog as could be drawn by a talented cartoonist.(apologies to Dogs, I love them)

Note: Wasserman-shultz & Hastings(the Federal Judge impeached for bribery)are the Hilarious Clinton’s choice to run her Florida campaign. Talk about birds and flocking.
Well, I hope they go flock themselves.

I am NOT threatened by any of the elements you have cited; and I am certainly more heartened by a Fred D. Thompson candidacy than any of the other *electable* candidates.

But,...I bet you feel MUCH more threatened by Fred’s candidacy that I do his firearms related votes.

    I did have.
    BofA NO MORE!!
I canceled my accounts and moved my Master Card,Visa, Savings, Checking, Money Market and Safety Deposit box to another banking facility, that does not have overt anti-United States callouses on it’s conscience.
It was a LOT of trouble, took some time and caused some personal discomfiture, but it is well worth it.
Amazing how doing what is right is so liberating.
    So lightening.
Like donating to a worthy cause or helping someone that really needs the help. Doing the right thing really does make you feel better.
