(Cincinnati) -- On Friday, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters issued a subpeona for records related to some of the voters who registered and cast their ballots on the same day during early voting. Deters said he had "numerous credible complaints" of irregularlities. But the Hamilton County Election Board and Ohio Secretary of State's office said they had no record of complaints. But in an interview with 700WLW's Bill Cunningham, Deters said his staff reviewed 610 ballots cast, and found 266 with problems. He says 166 "voters" apparently don't exist. A statewide law giving Ohioans the right to carry concealed weapons, even in parks, takes precedence over a city's ability to regulate firearms, the state Supreme Court said yesterday in a ruling that wipes out local gun laws. The court's 4-3 decision struck down a small Sandusky County town's ban on firearms in city parks, but also is expected to invalidate assault-weapons restrictions in other cities, including Columbus and Cleveland.

Just finished watching Scottish Chief Constable Willie Rae's press conference regarding the Glasgow airport terrorist attack. Near the end of his prepared statement he warned, in so many words, that retaliatory harassment of any "minority" group wouldn't be tolerated. Perhaps I missed it but I didn't hear Constable Rae warning terrorists not to attack Scotland. This is so typical in the West.
