In the past years (say 8?) I often wondered whether America would appreciate and value an honest man if he were elected. Well, I am soooo reassured! Even the democrats are lauding our man... Apparently there ARE some honest democrats out there who are not afraid to admit they were wrong about our president... what's not to love?

Oh, yes, and I forgot to mention that about a week after I installed Zone Alarm, it began asking me for a password to get Outlook Express..... I had never before had or used a password to get my e-mail..... therefore, I could not get or send mail.....

ZoneAlarm is a strange animal; seems to have a mind of its own.

I have had nightmares when I installed that monster.... I don't wish it on anyone but enemies.... It seemed great for a few days, but then blocked everything in sight and simply killed all uses of my computer. I had to reinstall Windows... then it blocked my ISP (Roadrunner, a fast cable service)... I uninstalled ZoneAlarm, but the problems did not go away. Evidently, uninstalling does not get rid of everything..... I had a three-hour session with RoadRunner, and they finally told me I would have to re-install ZoneAlarm, then lower its firewall protection as low as I could. After that, I had to get a kit to reinstall my RoadRunner. After countless hours of research I finally found a way to get rid of ZoneAlarm completely; it was not an easy job..... I saved all the information, so if anyone needs it, let me know and I will e-mail the directions to you.....

Nightmare is the correct description for ZoneAlarm. Just do a Google search for "Zone Alarm problems" and learn about the many, many who has the same experiences I did!

I notice that although bjclinton announced soon after the attacks that he would be taking four different commercial flights that week. However, the only flights anyone could find that he took were on private airplanes. Same with hillary.... who just took a private jet (.....after one of her entourage had run down a policeman in an effort to dodge an airline security patrol). These stupid, attentiongrabbing, publicityhungry people are too scared to fly commercial, and don't want it made public that all their flights are private.

Demonstrators said a violent response to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will only provoke more violence. They urged government leaders to develop a peaceful solution.

Perhahps we should just beg those terrorists to please play nice?

Trying to appease these murders did not help after the 1993 bombing of the WTC.... neither did it help after the Cole..... nor any other of their activities.....

I would like to send a sound recording of those 911 calls.... over an hour and a half of terror for those poor trapped people... to those people marching in Washington, and to Jane Fonda and the rest of the bleeding-heart liberals who want us to take a peaceful approach to this, negotiate, just "sit and talk things over".... maybe Bin Laden will say he is sorry and not do it again... That whole bunch sickens me..... I wonder, would they have the same speeches if their loved ones had been trapped inside? About the time I think I have cried myself out, I hear more of this kind of sorrow. For those people who say not to watch, not to listen, not to read..... I say we must watch, listen and read. That is probably how Fonda and the rest can hold their heads high while spewing their "peace" talks.... They need to be force-fed every bit of the horrible stories that are out there. I say place them in a cell and let the 911 calls be played over and over again..... I have no words for my anger right now.....

How much you wanna bet her security detail (those personal trained pigs of hers.... her words, not mine) will be forced to carry her books? Notice she has nothing in her hands, while the woman behind her has her hands more than full......

There is nothing left to investigate? And how, pray tell, do they know? We only know what has been forced out and that came by drips and drabs. Methinks gary condit may, sad to say, be as glad for September 11 events as the Taliban is.....

Some sicko person is around an e-mail supposedly showing a photo of a tourist taken just as an airplane is about to hit the WTC... just in case you get it, it is bogus.

Synopsis A tourist snapped a photograph from the World Trade Center's observation deck of American Airlines Flight 11 just before it crashed into the tower.

Here is what the hoax website has to say about it:

Why? At 8:45 AM EDT, American Airlines Flight 11 struck the northern side of 1 World Trade Center, the north tower. However, the World Trade Center's outdoor observation deck is located on the top of 2 World Trade Center, the south tower, that was later hit by United Airlines Flight 175. The north side of the 1 World Trade Center can't be seen - or photographed - from the observation deck on 2 World Trade Center.

Another thing to note, the observation deck of the World Trade Center did not open until 9:30, so no tourist could have been snapping pictures at 8:45.

The image also shows telltale signs of digital manipulation. The edges of the airplane and date in the lower right hand corner are blurry and indistinct. Digitally clipped images usually have a sharp border that may contrast sharply when pasted on top of another image. The contrasting border can be obscured though by blurring. While this may disguise the pasted border, it also loses the picture's detail in the blurred area.

The Washington Post today noted that ABC journalists are barred from wearing lapel flags. "Especially in a time of national crisis, the most patriotic thing journalists can do is to remain as objective as possible," says spokesman Jeffrey Schneider. "That does not mean journalists are not patriots. All of us are at a time like this. But we cannot signal how we feel about a cause, even a justified and just cause, through some sort of outward symbol."

Why are you changing positions at this date? And when did you begin favoring objectivity in the news? I have never had any trouble detecting your network journalists' negative signals about their views and feelings about the Republican party, and in particular, President Bush.

Perhaps your sponsors need to know that you HAVE been disclosing your biases, over and over again, you suddenly decided to stop short of showing patriotism. One wonders just why patriotism and loyalty to our country is a bad thing at ABC....

I don't know know how many of you have read the book of Esther in the Old Testament... but a better story has never been written... it holds your attention from beginning to the end.

In today's literature the Book of Esther would stay on the best seller list for months.

Anyway, as our president talked tonight, I remembered the words of Esther's uncle who, when Esther was in fear of her life, said, (I am paraphrasing) "For if you hold your peace at this time [snip] your enemies will enlarge and come from another place; but you and your father's house shall be destroyed: and who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? "

Does that not sound appropriate? He does seem born to the job and the time we are living in, doesn't he?..... like he was anointed of God.

FYI.... the Book of Esther is totally history, an amazing, true story..... and surprisingly.... in the entire book there is no mention of God and no use of the word Lord or other forms of that word. (that is my trivia for tonight.)

Too bad it's too late to trade them for an equal number of those fallen New York fireman who would have been honored to fly the flag. I mean it... I would be honored to make the decision to trade them.
