    “A Democrat, Dupnik ...”

As if one couldn’t tell by just listening to his press conference. The job of a sheriff is to enforce the law, not to distort reality and preach anti-Americanism.

Once Soetoro’s ineligibility is acknowledged his presidency and policies cease to exist; in fact, they will have never existed, as they will be ruled, as they must, nullities. Documenting Soetoro’s ineligibility is the quickest and most effective way to save our nation and Constitution. If we fail to uphold our Constitution, we may as well abandon our nation as it no longer exists.

“If you were born in Hawaii before it was a state, would you be eligible to run for President?”

Perhaps, if your parents were both US citizens. Per Vattel: “THE whole of the countries possessed by a nation and subject to its laws, forms, as we have already said, its territory, and is the common country of all the individuals of the nation.” Thus, a territory is part of the nation and citizens of the territory are citizens of the nation. However, both parents must be citizens for the child to be a natural born citizen.

Again, per Vattel: “The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.” Because Obama was born of a foreign father, if he was born in Hawaii the US is merely his place of birth, not his country.

Boehner is just one more corrupt ignoramus. It’s not about Obama’s citizenship; it’s about his natural born citizenship, which he has freely admitted, by admitting that his father held UK/Kenyan citizenship at the time of Obama’s birth, does not exist.

“People’s bodies are wired to gain weight very quickly and that’s the problem.”

Some people are, some people aren’t. You may wish to read the article.

The government, which holds your simplistic and inaccurate view, is poised to intrude upon our rights and impose a one-size-fits-all diet on us. It, like most government programs, will fail. Obesity rates will climb further, and progressives will bemoan that only another government intervention can solve the problem.

“Root cause of most obesity is an overabundance of food and lack of physical activity.”

The simplistic view you share with Michelle Soetoro, and one that, for many, erroneously assigns cause and effect to an observed correlation — beware that fallacy.

Per the article, which I assume you didn’t bother to read, different people have different metabolisms. Think about it. During lean times folks programmed to get fat easily are likely to be those most genetically fit. During times of plenty, like what we had before Soetoro became pResident, folks programmed to stay lean are likely to be those most genetically fit.

The human population appears to have evolved with a diversity that ensures survival in good times and bad.

“The Supreme Court would probably rule that the 14th Amendment would make him eligible....”

The Constitution uses the terms ‘citizen’ and ‘natural born citizen.’ In fact, both terms are used in the clause defining citizenship requirements for president: “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President....” On the other hand, Amendment 14 uses only the term ‘citizen.’

It is clear that the Founders used two different terms because they were referring to two different types of citizenship, with natural-born citizenship being of a higher quality of citizenship necessary to be eligible for the presidency. Amendment 14 defines only who is a citizen; it is mute on the topic of natural-born citizen.

Any court that tries to define natural-born citizen as citizen will be committing an act of war on the people of the United States. However, I regard the refusal of any court to take the case of Soetoro’s eligibilty as a legal blockade, which is also an act of war against the people of the United States.

Who will enforce our Constitution when the executive, legislative, and judicial branches are corruptly conspiring to wage war against us?

“Dems propping up people the can beat easily...”

Dems were successful in doing this in 2008, so expect them to try again in 2012.

In 2008 Republicans failed to coalesce behind an electable candidate, so the Dems and mainstream media made sure we got stuck with McCain. Even McCain should have been able to beat Zero, but he ran his campaign about as well as he flew his plane over North Vietnam on the day he got shot down.

    I wholeheartedly agree.

I believe the preponderance of the evidence points toward Barry being an illegal alien squatting in the White House. I believe Barry proves the wisdom of our Founding Fathers in requiring natural born citizenship for the presidency — to prevent exactly the kind of anti-American shenanigans Barry pulls day after day.

“How many grandmothers do you know are confused about what country their grandson was born???”

Careful here. How old is Grandma, and how well does her mind work. Obama and his purported Kenyan dad share the same name, and Obama Sr was undoubtedly born in Kenya.

I share the same name with my father and I remember visiting my grandmother about a year after my father died. Grandma was in her early 90s. During one conversation I realized she was seeing me as her son, not her grandson. It had an eery feeling about it, but I saw no point in embarassing her by reminding her who I really was. That was the only point in my several day visit that I was aware of her not realizing who I really was.

When I lived at home my dad and I were routinely confused because of our same name.

Granny Obama saying she attended Zero’s birth in Mombasa is a piece of evidence, but not one I’m willing to give a lot of weight to.

My source is the NY Times article posted. I just tried to revisit it, but one now has to log in. I swear the entire article was available at the time I posted. The article, as I recall, gave annual compensation rates of increase for the past decade — I merely multiplied them to determine the net increases over the 10-year period.

CEO compensation, while hefty, is insignificant in terms of national averages.

I must admit that I don’t know whether the Times reported real rates of increase (i.e., rates adjusted for inflation) or raw rates — they didn’t specify. It doesn’t matter for purposes of comparing private and public sectors, but it might for purpose of generating numbers that are familiar to you.

Barbara Bush proves, once again, that the Bushes are, at heart, elitists. This helps push me toward a position of supporting Palin for President in 2012. I can’t think of a better way to send a message to the ruling elite that elitism is no longer welcome.

“Freeze the pay AFTER BRINGING IT IN LINE TO PRIVATE SECTOR RATES and you’re talking business.”

Now you’re talking! Per the article, federal pay and benefits increased 34% over the past decade, while in that time private sector pay and benefits increased 8%.

Keep this in mind the next time you spend two hours on hold and being shuffled from bureaucrat to bureaucrat when calling a federal agency to ask a simple question. You get to witness first hand how underworked the bureaucrats are, you now know how overpaid they are, and you get to see how your own productivity dives while attempting to gather a tidbit of information.

I won’t be surprised if this so-called freeze turns out not to be a real freeze. What about annual step increases — frozen? What about annual COLAs — frozen? What about token promotions — frozen? What about hiring — frozen?

Thanks for the clarification; makes sense to me.

But, perhaps its time for civil disobedience: we should all violate the government’s laws as long as the government allows illegal aliens, including Obama, to violate the government’s laws.
