I believe it would be beneficial to have some quotes taken from interviews Beth, Dave, and others did, just to refresh our memories.

TWITTY: Well, I certainly hope that Arlene Schipper is not placing this—the family coming forward and endorsing a boycott due to this taped interview from Deepak Kalpoe. That is just simply—nothing could be farther from the truth.

And endorsing the boycott and it‘s coming from the family‘s frustration of the mishandling of Natalee‘s case. And I think everyone knows that November the 4th was a huge turning point for the family when—receiving a letter from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Augustine Borolic (ph), and how he‘s stating now that Aruba is not responsible for the investigation.

I think out of frustration, we look back on how we were pleading, written and verbal requests for help from the government officials on the island of Aruba and receiving none, no guidance, no direction. That‘s where the endorsing the boycott came from, Dan.

ABRAMS: What is your hope now with regard to the investigation?

TWITTY: Well, I hope that—I‘m really glad that you guys have been able to you know get a hold of the tape. I‘m hoping that we can have that analyzed, have it transcribed, and put it to rest and you know then get focused on the rest of the evidence that Aruba has collected all along. I mean Dan, there are unbelievable statements coming from Joran van der Sloot from June 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 that have audio and videotape that they need to be worrying about those and reviewing those and not just one taped evidence that Jamie Skeeters was able to obtain.

TWITTY: What I have had access to, Dan, was I had two Aruban attorneys who sat down with me and translated these Dutch documents and I just took notes...

ABRAMS: Right. No, I just meant it in the sense that they are not something that you can offer up publicly, that you are not withholding something from people. The bottom line is you just don‘t have access to it, it‘s part of the investigation, right?

You know our communication lines have been terminated with the prosecuting attorney and with the chief of police, so really we just need some information coming out of Aruba.

Notice no name is given as to who might have played with the tapes.
I don't doubt there is a 'played with' Aruban version.
I believe all the versions we've seen on the internet probably originated from the Aruban version. They are just 'grainy' enough to cause confusion. Aruba's mission accomplished, for now. The FBI confirmed Skeeters' tape as authentic and untampered. They never publicly confirmed the content. That is what we need to settle this dispute. Until then, any doubt I have goes against Aruba. Aruban spokespeople are known liars. I'm still waiting to see the tape Arlene adamantly claimed to have of Beth meeting with Jannsen at the cop shop.

Nancy, a source very close to the case tells me tonight that the devil is in the details, that some of those details that he`s claiming to have seen, the investigators believe are just too detailed for him to have seen from his vantage point

Why does this statement from the Nancy Grace transcript keep bothering me ??????

To bad that back when Arlene said that that Beth didn't ask to see the tape herself. Or is it they tape people without their knowledge? Certainly if there is such a tape that Arlene claims there is, Beth should have the right to see it herself.

Arlene said that on Greta's show.
Arlene was back on the show a couple of days later and the topic was not mentioned. Greta let her get away with this false claim and never called her on it. The only rebuttal was from Helen Lejuez, Beth's attorney. Helen completely discredited Arlene's version of events. After that, nobody ever mentioned it again.

Then it must have been Johnny Weissmuller that this "witness" saw wrap her with enough cable/weight to keep the body on the bottom in the same place until all that remained was the cable. If it wasn't Johnny, this story is a hoax, because he's the only swimmer I ever saw doing superhuman feats in the water (always on Saturday mornings, btw)
