I believe it would be beneficial to have some quotes taken from interviews Beth, Dave, and others did, just to refresh our memories.
I am going to attempt to post quotes from an interview each day, as time permits.
Todays quotes are from an interview on the
12-01-2005 Dan Abrams
Quotes from the portion of the show Beth appeared on the program

TWITTY: Well, I certainly hope that Arlene Schipper is not placing thisthe family coming forward and endorsing a boycott due to this taped interview from Deepak Kalpoe. That is just simplynothing could be farther from the truth.
And endorsing the boycott and its coming from the familys frustration of the mishandling of Natalees case. And I think everyone knows that November the 4th was a huge turning point for the family whenreceiving a letter from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Augustine Borolic (ph), and how hes stating now that Aruba is not responsible for the investigation.
I think out of frustration, we look back on how we were pleading, written and verbal requests for help from the government officials on the island of Aruba and receiving none, no guidance, no direction. Thats where the endorsing the boycott came from, Dan.

ABRAMS: What is your hope now with regard to the investigation?
TWITTY: Well, I hope thatIm really glad that you guys have been able to you know get a hold of the tape. Im hoping that we can have that analyzed, have it transcribed, and put it to rest and you know then get focused on the rest of the evidence that Aruba has collected all along. I mean Dan, there are unbelievable statements coming from Joran van der Sloot from June 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 that have audio and videotape that they need to be worrying about those and reviewing those and not just one taped evidence that Jamie Skeeters was able to obtain.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10294603/
TWITTY: What I have had access to, Dan, was I had two Aruban attorneys who sat down with me and translated these Dutch documents and I just took notes...
ABRAMS: Right. No, I just meant it in the sense that they are not something that you can offer up publicly, that you are not withholding something from people. The bottom line is you just dont have access to it, its part of the investigation, right?
TWITTY: Absolutely...
ABRAMS: Yes.
TWITTY: We have been privileged to see it, but we have remained confidential with the information that we were privilege to.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10294603/
ABRAMS: Any other legal action planned?
TWITTY: No, Dan. I mean right now the family just needs a lot of communication. Thats all were asking for. We want to know what happened to Natalee, you know where are we in the investigation? You know our communication lines have been terminated with the prosecuting attorney and with the chief of police, so really we just need some information coming out of Aruba.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10294603/
ABRAMS: Are you workingJohn Q. Kelly, a good friend of this program, a guy I like and respect a lot, is he working with you now?
TWITTY: Yes, we have retained him. And like I said, were just hoping to open up a line of communication and see where we are in the investigation. We just hate being in the dark all along, Dan.

ERIC MARRAPODI, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER:...........
Nancy, a source very close to the case tells me tonight that the devil is in the details, that some of those details that he`s claiming to have seen, the investigators believe are just too detailed for him to have seen from his vantage point
Why does this statement from the Nancy Grace transcript keep bothering me ??????
"I'm still waiting to see the tape Arlene adamantly claimed to have of Beth meeting with Jannsen at the cop shop."
To bad that back when Arlene said that that Beth didn't ask to see the tape herself. Or is it they tape people without their knowledge? Certainly if there is such a tape that Arlene claims there is, Beth should have the right to see it herself.
For a person to show up on the beach with enough materials to weight down a body in water would indicate premeditated murder.
I hadn't thought of that. Do any of you really think there's anything to this? And do any of you remember the ripple about someone taping deaths?
Maybe it's the use of the phrase 'devil is in the details' and it's not referrring to Joran?
Arlene said that on Greta's show.
Arlene was back on the show a couple of days later and the topic was not mentioned. Greta let her get away with this false claim and never called her on it. The only rebuttal was from Helen Lejuez, Beth's attorney. Helen completely discredited Arlene's version of events. After that, nobody ever mentioned it again.
Maybe so, if it actually happened.
I remain unconvinced.
And do any of you remember the ripple about someone taping deaths?
-----
We have Freddy who is known to film porn, but I don't recall mention of anyone filming deaths.
Then it must have been Johnny Weissmuller that this "witness" saw wrap her with enough cable/weight to keep the body on the bottom in the same place until all that remained was the cable. If it wasn't Johnny, this story is a hoax, because he's the only swimmer I ever saw doing superhuman feats in the water (always on Saturday mornings, btw)
Chatter at SM says the new Columbian witness has admitted to lying.
See comment # 2,037.
I did.
Tarzan would never do such a thing!
JQK will be on Greta tonight.
