If Obama has no Natural Born Citizenship problem why did Congress try to fix it?

Congress made eight different attempts to alter our U.S. Constitution concerning the Natural Born Citizenship Clause according to research by Carl Gallups proving they knew Barack Obama lacked presidential eligibility prior to the 2008 election!

If there was no problem for Obama why would these people do this? There had never been a question of Natural Born Citizenship in our lifetimes! Why fix what wasn’t broken?

The youtube ……..reveal a secret, closed door meeting was held with eight Supreme Court Justices just prior to the January 2009 Inauguration sent our other courts an unspoken message to don’t go there. Plaintiff attorneys with cases were pending at the time were not allowed into this meeting! Only Justice Samuel Allito declined…….

“Gallups video, are the eight different attempts to amend our Constitution…. Obama’s eligibility questions: 1 On June 11, 2003: House Joint Resolution # 59, introduced by Rep. Vic Snyder (D-AR), failed to obtain a vote; it sought to allow non-natural born U.S. citizens, “but who have been citizens of the U.S. for at least 35 years,” to serve as President or Vice President.

8. On Feb. 28, 2008, Sen. Claire McCaskill, (D-MO) attempted to add language onto SB 2678, Children of the Military Families Natural Born Citizen Act, to again weaken the NBC clause.

Co-sponsors of the failed legislation were Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama!. By the way, was not the John McCain eligibility hearing really a head fake to draw attention away from the Democrats’ elephant in the room?

“This is (a) 100 times worse situation (than Watergate); this is a crime against the Constitution and all the people of the U.S. Obama is not who he says he is, ” says Charles Kerckner whose eligibility lawsuit was turned down by our Supreme Court.

You have a point.

Morality comes from the Latin term Mores. It is literally translated as social custom.

Ethics comes from the Greek term Ethos. It is literally translated as character.

It applies here. America now says "it is the will of the people that Mr. Obama is president". The might of the people have spoken and they have no character to respect the minority by rule of the law. We as a society have made mores the ethos. How unfortunate for us.

You are totally correct. I agree with you. We are seeing the mess we are in right now.

I am a dual citizen. Not my fault where I was born. : ) But I love my situation. I can leave my U.S. passport at home and travel to countries that the U.S. tells me I can’t.

It’s a good thing I cannot become president because I would send everyone to hell. Like Newt, Cain, and West, they and I don’t believe in PC.

Is there anything in the Constitution that says my pets cannot run for the office of the presidency? …If my pets were born in the U.S. of A. of American pet parents?

Just asking…..Thank you.

The Sense of the Senate Resolution was appropriate in that case and it conflicts with nothing I have posted, here.
Is that Sense of the Senate Resolution law?

It is apparent people are using modern morality instead of timeless ethics. Common sense has been greatly diminished in this once great Republic.

I believe that the path to wayward thinking about these modern issues all begins with a profound state of ignorance about the subject of American history. Unless a person truly understands what life was like under the iron-fisted rule of kings and potentates of old, they will not understand the importance of the basic principles underlying what's in our Constitution.

Sadly, as every one of us has seen, those who have benefited the most from the social structures that document has enabled, are most likely to not comprehend its value.

When we get to the point where even 'well-informed' conservatives begin arguing in favor of allowing the treasonous bastards club to re-interpret the fundamental meanings of the Constitution, we've nearly reached the end of the line.

A new generation of Americans may have to learn the hard-won lessons of their forebears all over again, in order to correctly reset our government. Unfortunately, those of us who have a firm grip on basic American principles of freedom and liberty, will suffer along with them.

“The one point of good news from this ruling is that we have FINALLY gotten a court to rule on the merits of our argument. This may seem like a hollow victory, but it isn’t. Before this everyone that has brought a challenge against Obama’s eligibility has been dismissed on procedural grounds. Nothing is more devastating to the rule of law than a judicial branch that refuses to do its job. Before this case we had courts across the country telling Americans that they had no right to enforce the Constitution. That was absurdity at its most extreme. Liberty Legal Foundation found a case that we believed would at least get a ruling on the merits. We hate the ruling we got, but at least we got a ruling. Now we can appeal that ruling. The appeals process now will focus on the definition of “natural born citizen” rather than procedure for the first time since the issue of Obama’s eligibility was raise in 2008.”

Interesting, I did not know that.

So you are saying that there is a difference between the natives vs the naturals?

I'm just asking because this is one part that confuses me....just trying to learn.

A lot of the 'enlightened' thinking about the US Constitution and our American system of government is due to the fact that Americans of modern times have no living memory of how brutal and harsh a world their ancestors lived in.

Even now, when any American can hop a plane and walk among impoverished and enslaved people, some still do not quite grasp that evil will always seek to suppress and enslave, unless it is held in check by a strict set of social organizing agreements (and a moral, vigilant people who will defend them).

Liberals and other ignoramuses seem to believe that the only thing required to ensure life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, is to "give peace a chance", or some such gobbledegook. They're easy prey for those who sell enslavement under the guise of "fairness", "inclusion", "worker's rights", and other such Communist platitudes.

Ignorance is the enemy in the long hard battle we fight, to maintain what the Framers bequeathed to us.

Let me give a hint to the meaning of natural in natural born citizen and why there’s mass confusion.

The meaning is really very simple. Yes it does need citizen parents. Yes they should be born in the US.

Who are the naturals? Who are the natives? Who are the natural children from these naturals.

Remember Vattel used the word the naturels in the 1758 Droit des Gens, the same in the 1773 Droit des Gens.

Natural is a Kind.

Henry the V: “were all thy children kind and natural?”

Everyone.....who are the natural children? This is your clue.

John Jay used the word natural to limit the CINC to a very distinct group of citizenry.

What did natural mean..so long ago.

The answer is right in front you.

Some in this debate are probably not natural born citizens. Some fight this because their children are not natural born citizens. The Georgia Judge is not. There lies the problem.

Many in government are not natural born citizens..Obama is not..Valerie is not..many in Congress are not..many judges are not.

Jefferson wrote only natural born citizens should work in government.

We lost our country through immigration and the faulty reading of the 14th Amendment. We lost it with the WKA decision.

The 14th Amendment was passed to get the black vote..the same with WKA. A way for a corrupt government to stay in power.

We see the same with illegal immigration..to drive out the natural born citizens.

These had nothing to do with Obama. Many of them were referred to as “Schwarzenegger amendments” and were initiated by Republicans.
