Is This Ancient Greek 'Laptop' Proof That Time Travel Is Real? [in short, no]

A statue showing a young girl holding up what appears to be a laptop -- complete with USB ports -- has sparked a frenzy among conspiracy theorists.

The statue, 'Grave Naiskos of an Enthroned Woman with an Attendant' is in The J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu, California.

'I am not saying that this is depicting an ancient laptop computer,' said YouTuber StillSpeakingOut.

'But when I look at the sculpture I can't help but think about the Oracle of Delphi, which was supposed to allow the priests to connect with the gods to retrieve advanced information and various aspects.'

In the gallery's description, the object is described as a 'shallow chest' -- but conspiracy theorists are having none of that.

StillSpeakingOut says it, 'depicts an astonishing object which bears a striking resemblance with a modern laptop or some hand-held device.'

The strange image is just one of many seemingly anachronistic objects picked out by conspiracy theorists -- below is a moment in a Charlie Chaplin film where someone appears to be using a mobile phone.

I'm convinced time travel is possible. Otherwise, how did all those artifacts from ancient times end up in our century? Hmmmmm?

We all travel in time. . . At the rate of 60 seconds per second, 60 minutes per hour, 24 hours per day, 365 (well, 366 this time) per year, and one lifetime per person, always forward. . . And no reverse gear.

there’s a whole subculture that posts faux-scary crappy LOUD theme music over these kinds of ridiculous videos. Anything that sez “5 most” or “10 best” ANYTHING, etc, is not worth visiting. I only say that because I’ve spent an afternoon looking at a lot of ‘em by a lot of different authors. Oh, and they seem to steal ideas from one another, so, lots of repetition.

Nice thing though, about piracy — The Curse of Oak Island episodes appear relatively quickly (and vanish quickly as well), although fairly often they have some kind of stupid framing around the actual vid.
