Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

A little more effort may be required than that. You can expect that when and if the original Hawaii records turn up, there will be some kind of persuasive record of a Hawaii birth--maybe home birth; maybe something else. The reason the campaign is concealing those records is because there is evidence in them that would lead to the real story if pursued.
The most helpful evidence that could be obtained is two things: A birth record from Kenya demonstrating that he was born there; and, a marriage record from Kenya demonstrating that Stanley Ann and Obama Sr. were married there. The birth record search should be from mid July to early August, 1961; the marriage record search should be from January 1961 to April 30, 1961.
Other things should be done--the address in the birth announcement should be searched at the title company as well as should the neighboring properties; people who owned, leased, or occupied at that time period should be contacted.
As everyone will recall, Kenya was a British colony in this period and adequate records will have been kept. The suggestion has appeared that those records were moved to London with copies remaining in Mombasa or Nairobi.
Fiche copies are reportedly located in Salt Lake City with a Historical Genealogy Library. The Mormon birth records may also contain copies. Anyone in that area who could do so should undertake a search.
Going to www.familysearch.org there is no mention of date of marriage or mention of Ann’s ‘second’ marriage which makes it seem rather hinky to me. Seeing the name of the person who submitted the information I did a google search and the most hits for the name are for an architect in Chicago.
Of further interest is the fact that the earlier link for the newspaper which I provided was for ‘The Honolulu Advertiser” when the article Obama mentions of his father’s interview which he found with his birth certicate is clearly mentioned as being from ‘The Honolulu Star - Bullentin’! Just more inconsistency IMHO.
Also surfing through the various websites a Hilliary supporter from HI claims Sr and Ann were never married and she knows a woman who was involved with Sr after Ann became pregnant. She reportedly sent the woman’s name and e-mail address to an unmentioned reporter but has heard nothing back.
They may be idling at the 'christmas tree' like a AA fueler, waiting for the October surprise.
Hope everyone dusts off their stuff on her by September, we just might need it.

If possible, you ought to track that so we could follow it up later. I have a data file with over a hundred entries; I do not view it as complete; and I do not have that one. The news media is only going to follow this story if we come up with evidence of his birth offshore (or someone else does).
I don't give a lot of credit to the "they were not married" proposition. It looks to me as though they went to Kenya to get married--in that area, multiple wives is the norm; he wasn't worried. And it was not an impediment to his subsequent involvements with other women.
She was in to Africa; she stayed while he came back to go to school. That is why Obama was born in Africa.
Well now that was fun! I went to the webpage where the woman had mentioned Sr and another woman and be darned if my computer had problems with the site. I’m going to see if I can find any info from the address posted last night for Sr but am including the c & p for the woman’s comments.

They were not on welfare nor did they receive food stamps. Her family was well- to- do..his grandfather was a VP and Bank of Hawaii. His Dad-the Kenyon-stayed on, in Hawaii for a long time even after his Mom and Dad were no longer dating. The father dated and lived with another woman’s’ family there. The Mom took BO to the Middle East with her new boyfriend where BO attended private school (Muslim) then when her relationship with that man ended, both she and BO returned to Honolulu where he again enjoyed all of the privileges well-to-do afforded him and his Mom.

Reading through ‘The Honolulu Advertiser’ story it mentions quite a few street names but there is NO mention of Sr living at 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy. The two places mentioned where he lived are the Atherton YMCA “later he moved to St. Louis Heights”, so I’m going to see if I can locate an older map of Honolulu to place the various locations.

That's highly unlikely. The "Historical Genealogy Library" to which you refer is the same one owned and operated by the Mormons, and the vast majority of the Family History Library's records are for "persons born before 1930," which is the current standard in genealogy records, for obvious reasons. You can search the FH Library online here. About all you'll come up with for Kenya are maps of Nairobi.
The FH Library does have records which are not accessible to the general public, due to restrictions placed on them by the donor/government involved, but those items, databases or collections would also be listed in the catalog, and marked accordingly.
African-American genealogy is the newest marketing push by Ancestry (which dominates the online market), but you'll find from just a quick glance at most AA sites that most, if not all, of the records available are American in origin. There is a general lack of African records across the board.
Finally, if the FH Library had such records, they would have been found by researchers for Hillary or McCain (with the help of Romney, who would certainly carry some influence with the FHC).
Substance of the post was that the British Administration period records had been removed to London; that copies were in a Historical Library in Salt Lake City--and the poster names the library; and suggests that another Mormon site in Salt Lake also has copies.
Obviously, the post may have been incorrect although the story seems plausible. If we did locate a reliable report that such fiche records were in fact in Salt Lake City, an effort could be made with the administrators of the custodian to reach the substance.
I don't put much weight on the "someone else would have done it" analysis. For the most part, I rate only the Clinton's and guys running the Ron Paul campaign as sophisticated enough to appreciate the significance of the legal defect in Obama's position.
And the Clinton's may in fact have reached the evidence and are holding it for the convention or for some other purpose. That is possible. I would prefer to try to get to it myself.

The FH Library, per the link in my last post, is the largest genealogical library in the world. It's the holy grail of genealogical researchers. Because they don't have any Kenyan records, you now insist that they're in some other library in the same city, per "some poster?"

If I thought it productive to do so, I would locate the earlier post--I think it was addressed to me so that should not be difficult.
There is more than one library in Salt Lake City devoted to ancestry issues--the one referenced did not appear to be affiliated with the Mormons. However there are purportedly copies of the Kenya birth records in several locations--Salt Lake City is more likely to be convenient to people on this site than offshore locations.
