Called Wachovia early this morning to reorder checks. In the process, I must have hit a button I wasn't supposed to.
The next thing I hear is a recording. "As of November First, all emergency procedures will be in place, and all Wachovia personnel should stay with their families. If you have any questions, please contact your Sector Supervisor."
Now, I'm not a nut, but the next thing I know an operator came on the line and asked me, by name what they could help me with. Got me looking over my shoulder, and I don't have nerves, just nerve.

Prep for looming calamities . . .
You haven’t seen an across the board uptick in the pace of the rush to Armageddon, hell, famine, etc???
I think he was about 200 miles inland.
His webbot software is outlining a list of horrendous calamities starting as soon as days or weeks from now . . .
as have Cliff’s webbots.
I’d encouraged him moving North as short as a week or so ago. He was confident about staying put.
Then his software kept alerting him to a growing list and growing intensity of calamity . . . including possibly nuclear attack . . .
He was loading up today to head North.
Interesting, no matter what the explanation is (and I use Wachovia.) If it was a general emergency “test” message, it would probably announce it as a test, and it would not include a specific date. (Wachovia couldn’t run the risk of “all personnel” erroneously staying home on Nov. 1st because of a test message.)
I’m inclined to think it’s an old message, possibly from the Wells Fargo takeover, which took place in 2008. So the question is: did that transition happen on November 1st? If it wasn’t on the 1st, and if no other Wachovia emergency happened on Nov. 1st in the past, then this may well be a new message. Whatever it is, the message assumes Wachovia’s personnel already knows what the “emergency’ is about.

It is always better to share those feelings/thoughts. Who knows who the message was really meant for? - you may have just delivered it to them. We don’t always know what our purpose is - but we all have one.
Alternative to what explanation? He reported hearing an unusual recording, I’m not aware he stated this meant Wachovia was privy to the end of the world as we know it.
Just speaking for me, a post about an unusual Wachovia recording while ordering checks is not sufficient evidence of secret knowledge by Wachovia of a coup, financial meltdown, or even of a boy scout weenie roast in town.

I don’t have an explanation. I’m simply saying that an order to “stay with your family” doesn’t make sense — therefore, it can’t be used to determine whether the message was for November 2008, or some future November 1st — it wouldn’t make sense in either case.
Logically, it is hard to draw any absolute conclusions. It is much easier to do comparative logic, because it doesn’t require any underlying value judgments, just the ability to understand like things.

Makes me wonder if it relates to what your friend is responding to. If so, there are plans to nuke the Deep Horizon. There are three other programs there worth a listen but just do the one above.
