Beck: Progressive ‘Mission Accomplished,’ Now on to Phase II — Communism
The Blaze ^ | March 20, 2012 | Tiffany Gabbay

Posted on 03/21/2012 9:14:07 AM PDT by opentalk

If one wanted to destroy America, all one would need to do is break the country into parts and chisel away at each segment, bit by bit. Tuesday‘s episode of The Glenn Beck Program laid out America’s core components and described how each one is being undermined and thus, destroyed. But who is doing the destroying?

Glenn contends that those seeking to dismantle the American way are “no longer progressives.” Instead, the left has successfully morphed into what it had always intended to be: Full-fledged Communists.

“Progressives can say mission accomplished. Now it’s phase two.”

Invoking Stuart Chase’s “The Road We Are Traveling” and the recent Obama propaganda piece by essentially the same name, Glenn informed viewers that progressives’ “road” has come to an end, and thus, it is now time to “start studying Communism.”

And while this machine is “way beyond Barack Obama,” he is, in effect, its prime mover. Recall during his 2008 presidential campaign, Obama said he wanted to “fundamentally transform” the country, and indeed, the entire world.

In the words of Maya Angelou: ”The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them.”

..“They built their machine,” said Glenn. Progressives have now turned that machine on, we must pay attention to Communists.

He instructed viewers to learn as much as they can about Communism — how it works, what its core tenets are, who its radical architects and advocates are, as well as to familiarize themselves with the system’s heroes and villains.

...He also reminded that when Obama vowed to fundamentally change the nation and the world it was brushed off as merely “campaign rhetoric,” but with progressives, “their words have meaning.”

So the president wanted to change the entire structure of the country. In order to do that, Glenn cautioned, one “needs to dismantle the current structure.”

No, he has not yet endorsed Romney, but there is going to come a time when we all have to face reality. Santorum has to win 70% of the outstanding delegates to win. Romney just 45%.

Just about every conservative you listen to on the radio and TV or read on their blogs will endorse the nominee, eventually, even if it is Romney. To not do so - to support sitting out the election in November, or throwing away your vote on a third party is ignoring just how poisonous Obama is. Are we going to hate them and stop listening to every one their shows as their endorsements solidify behind our nominee? God I hope not.

The prime directive must continue to be to send that America-hating destructive commie back to Chicago.

Yes, that’s pretty much what I said in my post at #12.

Beck seems to be the only one talking about communism and naming what were are up against.

I remember reading, Breitbart realized there is a global movement against the United States and capitalism. Global Occupy movement seems part of the agenda. I dont remember the article, but thought he also referenced Communism

Glenn, did point out the irrational nonsense coming from some on our side, and you can read it all over FR. Glenn and Rush both said Romney’s victory speech last night was his best victory speech yet. I agree, it was a very good. And both men added the caveat, that they hope he believe what he is saying. I agree with that too. But many supporting Santorum and Newt just don’t agree it was a good speech at all. They are incapable of hearing anything good come from Romney’s lips. Their comments following the speech was every bit as harsh and nasty as those written on the DU. I do want those who still are behind Santorum or Newt to keep fighting for their guy, but if our nominee ends up being Romney I hope and pray they don’t follow through with their threats about sitting out in November.

If you find it, please let me know. I’d like to read it.

I know that Michael Medved is always going on about how we shouldn’t call BHO a communist, socialist, or marxist. I guess he thinks it will drive independents away or something. I think it’s important that we understand who he is and where he came from.

Yes, this morning he was saying he was behind Romney. Of course he is for Santorum *ahem*...

Beck said he would definitely vote for Romney but Beck wouldn’t vote for Gingrich, if Gingrich was the nominee.

But to not vote for Romney is wasting your vote and voting for Obama (as he told a caller). See?

The Road We Have Traveled could be pushed as being from The Road Less Traveled book. There is a RLTP (Road Less Traveled productions—Alec Baldwin)

I suppose Beck’s idea will make him more money, though.

How about Romney PAC Restore Our Future and Beck’s Restoring Love, restoring Faith,Restoring Courage? Does that mean there’s a Mormon connection here?! Following Beck logic, I would say— YES! *gee*

As far as Becks big epiphany on Communism, I think most here have been onto that for a while.

What’s irrational about not getting behind someone who signed FREE abortion into law and who panders to sodomites? My responsibility to God comes before everything else. There is no way I can support someone like that.

Not to mention the fact that he is one of the most loathsome, corrupt, vicious people I’ve seen in my lifetime. If you want to get behind THAT, feel free, but please don’t tell me I must.

I just hope Romney means what he says. He talks like a conservative now, but his past actions as governor of Mass. were those of a progressive. This article at the Washington Examiner isn’t helping:

Romney advisor says his conservatism can be erased

not the article I recalled but, This links to a summary of Breitbarts Book..Righteous Indignation

The pivotal chapter

In his 2011 best-seller Righteous Indignation, Andrew Breitbart (who recently met his untimely death at age 43) traces the story of how communism came to America. Rivers of ink have been dispensed to document the many facets and subplots in the drama of the concerted 24/7 campaign to bring Western Civilization to its knees. Those essential investigations of the forces who intend to do us in continue even now in the early 21st century. Meanwhile, Breitbart has offered an abbreviated explanation that is about as concise as one can find with regard to the attack on America.

Beyond brute force

The conspiracy — in its metaphoric dimensions — represents nothing so much as a giant mowing machine, never deviating from its decades-old goal of smashing America's constitutional, cultural, economic, and political infrastructure. The take-down of America from within has been sought through more than one avenue, but arguably none so pivotal as the Frankfurt School. Breitbart focuses on that phenomenon in his 21-page chapter Breakthrough.

The author/activist discovered the long-term Marxist crusade to tear-down the United States did not end (as many Americans assumed) when the Berlin Wall came down....

Why in the world would you even consider trusting what comes out of Romney's mouth? He's an unregenerate liar. At one of the debates, he even lied about his own NAME.

When I hear conservatives, who should know Romney by now, hesitantly offer up trust to that liar, I just don't understand it.

Wish I could find some service that hosts those videos and re-serves them at a lower quality. Standard DSL users can’t watch Beck’s videos. I can’t figure out why he cuts off so many potential customers. Doesn’t want the lower-income ones?

Sadly, we don’t have any——and it’s incredible that it’s come to this. Personally speaking, though, I can’t vote for Romney.

Can you explain for the technically-challenged?

I am rural, have standard DSL, am self-employed and therefore, have a low AGI, use a Roku II and get GBT just fine in decent quality. There are some bandwidth problems occasionally at times when (I assume) more people served by our ISP are downloading movies. Otherwise, the quality is good, as far as I am concerned.

$10/month is hardly a high price point to receive GBT. You could also just get Beck’s show alone for $5/month and since they changed format this week, that means 1 hr. of Beck and 1 hour of The Real News. There is also unlimited replay available w/o a DVR.

My opinion is that they run a close-to-the-bone operation and spend every dime as it comes in. They appear to be meeting technical challenges as they can....I notice a difference from now compared to last Fall. I feel, as a subscriber, that I am certainly getting my money’s worth.

Is your connection actually 768 kbps (standard DSL)?

If so, I am somewhat puzzled. I have verified numerous times that I have been provisioned the full bandwidth (actually a little more), yet can not view any similar HD video without buffering pauses every 10 or 15 seconds (at most).

I run state-of-the-art custom router software (DD-WRT), have various flavors of Linux and Windows laptops, desktop and Goggle TV with the latest 3.1 Android update. Within the LAN there is no problem, naturally, serving and viewing HD.

In past threads right here on FR other standard DSL users have agreed with me the HD content was not watchable and it is consistent with everything else I know about the capabilities of the link.

If he is the nominee. He has said as much because it is a vote against Obama. Much like many on here had in 2008 until Palin came on board, and are debating his time around.
