Archaeologists claim to have found the oldest known artefact in the Americas, a scraper-like tool in an Oregon cave that dates back 14,230 years.

I suspect things considerably older would be found if we could get at the ancient shorelines from when the ocean levels were lower.

It just makes sense to me. We know the sea levels rose and fell during the glacial periods and people tend to travel by water and near water.

I also tend to think its possible that man came to this continent from both Asia and Europe. We really don’t have any firm dates for when the boat was invented and the distances would have been shorter during the glacial period for island hopping.
