Super Megaliths
Earth Epochs ^ | February 22, 2014 | John Jensen

I subscribe to a couple of Russian Blogs and Websites that post various data and information without the typical hype and filters of Western Science, Academia and the Press, let alone the fringe and "Alien" woo-woo crowd interests. The following are photos of some Super Megaliths from Southern Siberia near the mountains of Gornaya Shoria. The following material is from the website of Valery Uvarov.

The super megaliths were found and photographed for the first time by Georgy Sidorov on a recent expedition to the Southern Siberian mountains. The following images are from Valery Uvarov's Russian website.

There are no measurements given, but from the scale depicted by the human figures, these megaliths are much larger (as much as 2 to 3 times larger) than the largest known megaliths in the world. (Example: The Pregnant Woman Stone of Baalbek, Lebanon weighs in at approximately 1,260 ton). Some of these megaliths could easily weigh upwards of 3,000 to 4,000 tons.

There is little commentary on Valery's site, so the image are displayed here without much comments, other than my own limited observations.

These megaliths reach well back into the mists of pre-history, so far in fact, that conjecture about their 'builders', methods, purpose and meaning is pure speculation, and as such, I would hesitate to offer any observation at all, other than to say our pre-historical past is richer than we ever dreamed.

I agree, although I’m not entirely sold on the artificiality of what we see. Cold climate, these could easily be natural blocks, given their enormity and the erosion.

I have to ask. Are these with out a doubt man made megaliths? Could they not be natural stone formations?

Natural formations that look like stone bricks is possible. America Unearth series has a town in TX that was surrounded by a 8 story “wall”. Unearthed it looked like man laid rectangular stones. The expert drilled stone samples and had it analyzed for low magnetic orientation. If it is a natural formation, all the samples stone magnetic orientation will point in one direction. If manmade, all the sample magnetic orientation will be random. It turned out that millions of years ago, area in TX was under water and lava pressured earth upward to form a wall like bathtub. Upon cooling it formed cracks that give a visual impression of man laid rectangular blocks. These formations are rare but possible.

Nice picture of natural blocks.

The geological formations in the world are fantastic. How many people knows that Mount Everest was the bottom of the sea before the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Plate collided with the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_Plate

Mother nature must have had her square and straight edge out that day :)

Definitely aliens. Or lost technological arts in a Russian golden age. Or natural.

These are naturally broken rock formations. Notice how tight they are to each other. Probably cracked due to extreme cold and ice which got into the vertical cracks. It eroded them from within for a long time, just enough to send the crack all the way to the bottom of each piece.

Wouldn’t be surprised to learn that an earthquake also shook the area, and if it occurred during a hard freeze, it would have allowed the froze ice to break internally and the shock waves would have followed the cracks, thus breaking them all the way up and down.

No human hands in this stuff.

Now, the important question. Did they find a Yeti?

Throw in fracturing from post-glacial isostatic rebound, and some of these could be merely cracked and weathered in situ.
