Just came in from taking my MIL on her errands for the day. The past couple weeks we have had to do our "Thursdays" on Tuesday.

Now I must clean house for more company coming on New Years day. At least all of the Christmas stuff is put away, so it is easier to clean.

Hello all, sorry I couldn't be around today. Went down to take my mom to see Cold Mountain. Have said in the past that I was through with Hollywood but she likes to go to the movies and have to admit that I read the book and wanted to see what they did to it. It was a good movie although the producer said he shot the movie in Romania instead of North Carolina because it was cheaper. In my opinion, it cheapened the story by not showing the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns in NC....guess you get what you pay for.
Jude Law did a great job of playing his Southern character but Nicole Kidman was a disappointment in her part.

LOL, I woke up the day after xmas, when me and my sweetie were to start an 8-hour drive to see yet more relatives, who live all over tarnation, and I suddenly found myself yelling, only-half jokingly, "WILL IT EVER END??!!"
