Upstaged, clinton Recycles Tired Canard, Tries New Revisionist Tack
The 60-minute C-SPAN reprise of the 60-second 60 Minutes clinton-Dole flop confirmed what the 60 Minutes separate-stages format had plainly suggested: that bill clinton would be wise never to share the stage with Bob Dole.
Bob Dole displayed an easy wit; clinton served up faux-folksy bromides laced with underlying rage with stale carnard-cum-corollary for good measure.
The canard: If a crook doesn't make a profit, then it's not a crime.
The corollary: The government should pursue a crook if, and only if, the crook's take exceeds the government's cost to nail him.

Casuistry in the service of clinton revisionism....
Posthumous misappropriation is, for the obvious reason, the clintons' preferred method of legacy inflation. While downward revision ("defining deviancy down") is the classic clinton m.o., (see Jefferson double-helix hoax), clinton, exposed, is now arguing the obverse; the double negative offers the illusion of a higher ground.
If the purpose of the canard and corollary is to nullify Whitewater, the purpose of the claim that Ulysses S. Grant was unfairly maligned is to point the clinton hagiographers in the direction of the nonjudgmental... and the non sequitur.
That is, if Grant was unfairly maligned as a drunk, then, according to clinton deconstructionist logic, it follows that clinton was unfairly maligned as a rapist, traitor, perjurer, suborner of perjury, cheat, obstructor of justice, abuser of power, psychopath, corruptor of children, murderer, incompetent, utter failure, proximate cause of 911... take your choice.

"I remember exactly what happened. Bruce Lindsey said to me on the phone, 'My God, a second plane has hit the tower.' And I said, 'Bin Laden did this.' that's the first thing I said. He said, 'How can you be sure?' I said 'Because only bin Laden and the Iranians could set up the network to do this and they [the Iranians] wouldn't do it because they have a country in targets. Bin Laden did it.'
I thought that my virtual obsession with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn't get him."
bill clinton "Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91 and he went to the Sudan.
We'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden].
So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan."

-----70 million dollars on whitewater -- which was a land deal that I lost money on-
I thought the 'land deal' was hillary's deal. Whitewater was a scheme drawn up by hillary and her women cronies, using borrowed money lent to 'women owned businesses' only. So now I hear it was his deal - was billy ever questioned on this, I don't think so.
Talk about a bodyguard of lies. Yes, I made a mistake and I'm paying for it. Wonder if he ever thinks of the young girl who was just a few years older than his own daughter - how she is paying for it. Poor bill!!!!!
And the Democratic Party stick by the clintons like glue!

The fundamental clinton rape issue isn't whether hillary 'believed bill,' or 'enabled bill'.
The fundamental clinton rape issue is that hillary participated.
While Sean Hannity correctly zeroed in on the clinton rape of Juanita Broaddrick, one of the issues that should automatically disqualify missus clinton for any position of power, he sabotaged his own line of attack. Hannity's setup question, whether hillary 'believed' bill, was a dodge. And a not very artful dodge. As Sean Hannity knows well, the issue isn't whether hillary 'believed bill'; the issue is that hillary participated. In that rape as well as in all the other clinton rapes and predations.
Hannity of all people should know this. He interviewed Broaddrick on precisely that point. (A video and analysis of that interview is in the works.) Broaddrick described to him in shocking detail the meeting with hillary clinton that occurred several weeks after the rape. missus clinton went to that meeting for the express purpose of warning Broaddrick to keep her mouth shut. (She and the rapist entered the room, she approached Broaddrick (whom she had never met before) while a slinking rapist stayed behind, she proceeded to warn Broaddrick, she and the rapist immediately left.) In Hannity's original Estrich-Broaddrick interview, he was honest about the real issue. But even then he ultimately failed because he neglected to expose the following clinton casuistry being spun by Estrich:
On point 1, the statute of limitation on rape applies in a court of law, not in the voting booth. The question we are deciding isn't whether the clintons should be thrown in the slammer (another matter for another day); the question is less onerous, (from the clintons' perspective, anyway): Do the clintons have the character to be president? The reductio ad absurdum is Christopher Shays' comment, made after he viewed the Ford building evidence on the rape of Broaddrick: "I believed that he had done it. I believed her that she had been raped 20 years ago. And it was vicious rapes, it was twice at the same event." Asked if the president is a rapist, Shays said, "I would like not to say it that way. But the bottom line is that I believe that he did rape Broaddrick." And yet Shays voted not to impeach. Purportedly because he asked the wrong question. ("Where was the obstruction of justice?") (Any cognitive dissonance Shays may have experienced rendering that verdict was no doubt assuaged by the political plum clinton gave to Mrs. (Betsi) Shays...) And so we had two more years of the clinton Nano-Presidency. And with it, inexorably, 9/11. Regarding points two and three: Juanita's bitten lip, swollen to twice its normal size, the hallmark of a serial rapist, is the obvious counterexample. Real Rape should be required reading... for Susan Estrich.
ADDENDUM: Ignoring the facts of the case, ignoring the 'real rape' paradigm, indeed, ignoring her own writings on 'real rape,' Susan Estrich, on Hannity and Colmes, pimping for yet another rapist presidency, dismissed out of hand Juanita Broaddrick's credible charge, that she was raped by the clintons. In response, Juanita Broaddrick has offered to meet with Susan Estrich to discuss the matter. Estrich turned her down flat. (SUSAN ESTRICH RESPONDS TO JUANITA BROADDRICK'S OFFER TO SPEAK ABOUT HER RAPE -- "not interested")
THE DANGER OF RUNNING VICARIOUSLY |
Very nice, Mia T. Always appreciate your posts!
It's hard to believe there aren't multiple coups in the works at the DNC. "I still think Hillary will get in . . . she's unelectable but certainly nominatable." Susan Estrich "I'm one of the few in the semi-inner circle who [doesn't] think she can win" [the White House]. Harold Ickes Sen. Hillary Clinton should not count on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House. Geffen, who was a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was president, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y in New York City. "She can't win, and she's an incredibly polarizing figure," the billionaire Democrat told his audience. "And ambition is just not a good enough reason." Lloyd Grove reports in fresh editions of the NY DAILY NEWS the audience broke with "hearty applause" over Geffen's comments. Developing... GEFFEN UNLOADS ON HILLARY: 'SHE CAN'T WIN'

DRUDGE REPORT

GIVEN:
The only conclusion we can make about WMD in Iraq is about what we did find and what we didn't find. The Left, which includes the press, either needs to take a course in logic or needs to face the firing squad. THE DEMOCRATS ARE GONNA GET US KILLED. It's as simple as that.
How can this country survive when the Democrats and their media accomplices are seditious, unrelenting purveyors of THE BIG LIE? And who do you think set this tactic into motion, anyway?

BTTT
Thanks. I think clinton's ultimate legacy will be the decisions he made. When he decided not to go after bin Laden, when he decided to pass out our weapons technology like candy, he did these things for his own aggrandizement. In other words, to enhance his legacy, bill clinton endangered America, endangered Western civilization and endangered the world. How ironic. How despicable. How dumb.

Thanks for the ping. Bill Klintoon sure has a deficit of moral authority. Both of them do. Thanks for keeping an eye on their continuing criminal activity.
Honestly Mia, you should get some sort of reward for having to cull through the trash heap of history on these two despicable human beings. I'll give you kudos though, good job and many gold stars.
Jen
Thank you, Jen. :)
Clinton, "I made a horrible personal mistake; but I paid for that."
WRONG! I get so sick of people who excuse their actions with, "I paid for that." You cannot take away the pain you caused others SO you DID NOT "pay for that." The whole concept of "I paid for that" is a moral fallacy used by disgusting people.

This underscores not only the essential amorality of the liberal feint, but also clinton's pathological self-absorption.
Excellent. Thanks again for all the hard work, Mia T. You're lighting many candles for truth on the internet (to paraphrase Bibi.)
