IMPEACHMENT: hear clinton lose it

MIDDLING

Twenty presidents rank higher than bill clinton and 20 rank lower. But this placement assumes equal weight for each of the presidential dimensions. And therein lies the flaw.

If 9/11 taught us anything, it is that presidential character and moral authority count, and count most.4 If the variables are properly weighted, bill clinton will always come out dead last.

That is, unless Americans are dumb enough to make the same mistake twice.5

AFTERWORD

This legacy confab is in and of itself proof certain of clinton's deeply flawed character, and a demonstration in real time of the way in which the clinton years were about a legacy that was incidentally a presidency. Madeleine Albright captured the essence of this dysfunctional presidency best when she explained why clinton couldn't go after bin Laden.

According to Richard Miniter, the Albright revelation occurred at the cabinet meeting that would decide the disposition of the USS Cole bombing by al Qaeda [that is to say, that would decide to do what it had always done when a "bimbo" was not spilling the beans on the clintons: Nothing]. Only Clarke wanted to retaliate militarily for this unambiguous act of war.

Albright explained that a [sham] Mideast accord would yield [if not peace for the principals, surely] a Nobel Peace Prize for clinton. Kill or capture bin Laden and clinton could kiss the accord and the Peace Prize good-bye.

If clinton liberalism, smallness, cowardice, corruption, perfidy--and, to borrow a phrase from Andrew Cuomo, clinton cluelessness--played a part, it was, in the end, the Nobel Peace Prize that produced the puerile pertinacity that enabled the clintons to shrug off terrorism's global danger.

Upstaged, clinton Recycles Tired Canard, Tries New Revisionist Tack

Biography lends to death a new terror.--Oscar Wilde

Hypocrisy abounds in this Age of Clinton, a Postmodern Oz rife with constitutional deconstruction and semantic subversion, a virtual surreality polymarked by presidential alleles peccantly misplaced or, in the case of Jefferson posthumously misappropriated...

Mia T, THE OTHER NIXON

Yesterday, Daniel Patrick Moynihan died. Today, the clintons are arrogating his soul. Hardly surprising. In 1999, the clintons were not at all shy about seizing his still-warm senate seat.

One has merely to recall the Jefferson double-helix hoax to understand that posthumous misappropriation is, for the obvious reason, the clintons' preferred method of legacy inflation….

Standard-Issue clintonism

If misappropriation of Jefferson's alleles hinged on a broken line of descent, misappropriation of Moynihan's endorsement depends on a broken line of dissent. Like Sally Hemmings' progeny, Moynihan's later acquiescence is of dubious lineage

Mia T, Moynihan Myths

hat is surprising about the clinton-Dole C-SPAN pas de deux is not that clinton demagoguery had gotten so old. What is surprising is that the tautological, specious, gasbag sort of banality that had always been the hallmark of clintonspeak was ever considered interesting or credible in the first place.

The 60-minute C-SPAN reprise of the 60-second 60 Minutes clinton-Dole flop confirmed what the 60 Minutes separate-stages format had plainly suggested: that bill clinton would be wise never to share the stage with Bob Dole.

Bob Dole displayed an easy wit; clinton served up faux-folksy bromides laced with underlying rage with stale carnard-cum-corollary for good measure.

The canard: If a crook doesn't make a profit, then it's not a crime.

The corollary: The government should pursue a crook if, and only if, the crook's take exceeds the government's cost to nail him.

hillary talks: ON CLINTON "FINANCES"

(viewing movie requires Flash Player 7, available HERE)

Casuistry in the service of clinton revisionism....

Posthumous misappropriation is, for the obvious reason, the clintons' preferred method of legacy inflation. While downward revision ("defining deviancy down") is the classic clinton m.o., (see Jefferson double-helix hoax), clinton, exposed, is now arguing the obverse; the double negative offers the illusion of a higher ground.

If the purpose of the canard and corollary is to nullify Whitewater, the purpose of the claim that Ulysses S. Grant was unfairly maligned is to point the clinton hagiographers in the direction of the nonjudgmental... and the non sequitur.

That is, if Grant was unfairly maligned as a drunk, then, according to clinton deconstructionist logic, it follows that clinton was unfairly maligned as a rapist, traitor, perjurer, suborner of perjury, cheat, obstructor of justice, abuser of power, psychopath, corruptor of children, murderer, incompetent, utter failure, proximate cause of 911... take your choice.

C-SPAN historians find no clinton "greatness" irrespective of moral-authority deficit

-SPAN
asked noted presidential historians to rank the American presidents1 along the following ten dimensions: public persuasion, crisis leadership, economic management, moral authority, international relations, administrative skills, relations with congress, vision/setting an agenda, pursued equal justice for all, and performance within context of times.

bill clinton emerged as middling in most dimensions; he was surpassed in others by a settled mediocrity (Carter) and a putative failure (Nixon). In moral authority, bill clinton was rated dead last.2 He did fairly well in public persuasion, not a surprising finding given the volume of snake oil he managed to peddle during his presidency.

"It's the economy, stupid!"

Clinton's best scores were on the economic management and pursued equal justice for all dimensions. However, both of these results are meaningful only insofar as they redound to the moral authority dimension: they are wholly based on clinton fraudulence, cooked books and black poses, respectively; and clinton's shameless Rosa Parks eulogy last week assured us that the insidious brand of clinton racism is alive and well during these tiptoe years of the clinton interregnum.

Note that although Brinkley doesn't place much importance on the economic management dimension--he argues that the economy variable is not durable over time--he fails to recognize that the evaluation of the clinton economy by the historians is erroneous to begin with.

Note also that contrary to Douglas Brinkley's claim, made at the clinton revisionist confab3, C-SPAN historians found no evidence of clinton "greatness" irrespective of his moral-authority deficit.

Bill Clinton, at Long Island conference, calls impeachment `egregious abuse' of Constitution

FRANK ELTMAN
Associated Press Writer

November 10, 2005, 7:29 PM EST

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Former President Clinton said Thursday that his impeachment was "an egregious abuse of the Constitution" and asked if history judges him poorly because of his White House tryst with Monica Lewinsky, "How many other presidents do you have to downgrade?"

Speaking on the opening day of a three-day conference at Hofstra University examining his presidency, Clinton challenged a statement by noted historian Douglas Brinkley, who opined that Clinton would be deemed a great president were it not for his impeachment.

"I completely disagree with that," Clinton said. "You can agree with that statement, but only if you think impeachment was justified. Otherwise, it was an egregious abuse of the Constitution and law and history of our country."

Clinton, who was acquitted by the Senate of perjury and obstruction of justice at his 1999 impeachment trial, contended that the impeachment was not about what he called his "misconduct."

"Now if you want to hold it against me that I did something wrong, that's a fair deal," he said. "If you do that, then you have a whole lot of other questions, which is how many other presidents do you have to downgrade and what are you going to do with all those Republican congressmen, you know, that had problems?"

His remarks were cheered loudly by the audience.

In a speech that lasted more than an hour, Clinton touched on many of what he called the achievements of his eight-year presidency, citing everything from Middle East peace initiatives to turning around the U.S. economy.

Among his Democratic administration's failures, he said, were its slowness to act to stop genocide in Rwanda and the decision to allow FBI agents to raid a cult leader's compound in Waco, Texas. Nearly 80 cult followers died in a fire during the 1993 confrontation.

"We should have waited them out," Clinton said.

Former cabinet members, White House staffers and academicians converged at Hofstra for the conference, which will touch on issues including the economy, relations with Congress, the Middle East and Northern Ireland peace processes and confronting terrorism.

Those participating include former Attorney General Janet Reno, ex-Defense Secretary William Perry, former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin and advisers Paul Begala, David Gergen and Harold Ickes.

During an opening keynote speech, former chief of staff Leon Panetta quipped that he appreciated "the opportunity to, considering the problems that are confronting this White House, to take some comfort in the ability to say when we were in the White House those were the good old days."

The presidential conference is the 11th to be held at Hofstra; the first was held in 1982 and examined the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz said this year's conference was "one of the very first attempts to write the historical record of the Clinton presidency."

Brinkley, who is serving as a moderator at several events, said the transcripts and other records from the Hofstra sessions are considered important reference materials for students of history across the country.

Madeleine Albright, Clinton's secretary of state from 1997 to 2001, introduced him Thursday evening. In remarks earlier Thursday, she recalled some of the administration's foreign policy efforts during her term.

"I have always believed America is an exceptional country. But that is because we have led in creating standards that work for everyone, not because we are an exception to the rules," she said. "Countries should know that America is a nation whose leaders can be trusted and who will practice what they preach. By that high standard, I am proud of the Clinton administration's record."

WHY DID BILL CLINTON IGNORE TERRORISM?

DISCUSSION

"I remember exactly what happened. Bruce Lindsey said to me on the phone, 'My God, a second plane has hit the tower.' And I said, 'Bin Laden did this.' that's the first thing I said. He said, 'How can you be sure?' I said 'Because only bin Laden and the Iranians could set up the network to do this and they [the Iranians] wouldn't do it because they have a country in targets. Bin Laden did it.'

I thought that my virtual obsession with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn't get him."

"Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91 and he went to the Sudan.

We'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden].

At the time, '96, he had committed no crime against America, so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America.

So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan."

I thought the 'land deal' was hillary's deal. Whitewater was a scheme drawn up by hillary and her women cronies, using borrowed money lent to 'women owned businesses' only. So now I hear it was his deal - was billy ever questioned on this, I don't think so.

Talk about a bodyguard of lies. Yes, I made a mistake and I'm paying for it. Wonder if he ever thinks of the young girl who was just a few years older than his own daughter - how she is paying for it. Poor bill!!!!!

Yes, I can see the need to address the points/issues that most of the targeted voters will have a positive response to.
The one most helpful piece of info I've used, is the one that used a tit-for-tat method. That is,
Clinton said:blah, blah.
But then he said: Blah, blah.
Clinton promised: blah, blah.
But then he ordered, signed, did, etc.

The speeches he and his cronies made this last week are disgusting. I mean, here we are, with Libby being indicted for lying about a crime that never happened, and there's Clinton whining that his charges and impeachment were "egregious", blown out of proportion, and unconstitutional. The masses buy this crap, hook, line, and sinker!
Please explain to me, why women haven't gone after him with a nut-knife! This guy perjured himself to the point where he denied a woman her right to due process, a civil right! Many women have accused him of sexual harassment and downright rape. I don't get it? Compare that to an alleged pubic hair on a coke can...and hitlary stands by him, defends him, and lies for him.
I got off point, sorry.

With all the neutered talk of late

a relevant Shakespearean conversation
with EZ, a clinton chronicler Elizabethan.

[I had just asked the playwright if he had writer's block.]

EZ:
Think that thy bard hath now MacJeff forsaken?
In that would'st thou be verily mistaken.
Mayhap thou hast impatiently forgot
That facts comprise the essence of the plot.

MIA T:
Methinks thy bard hath schemes forsaken.
Mayhap thou art verily mistaken.
Plots comprise the essence of the facts.
Forsake the contrariwise artifacts.

EZ:
Gadzooks, could'st be thy bard is put to rout?
'Twould seem his veriest words are turned about.
Could'st show whereby effect doth flow from cause,
Would'st then be due a round of brisk applause.

Perhaps I could this point of view adopt,
For was not Bill by Hillary thus bopped
In like wise as MacJeff, upon the head,
And with a lamp, just as thy bard hath said?

Thus are the facts revealed for all to see:
Thy bard did make good use of ESP.
Contrariwise, the White House read my serial,
And sought to make good use of the material.

MIA T:
Thy bard's "effect doth flow from cause" linearity
And 'twould seem thy veriest good use of oracularity
'Twere not the nature of the plots I pricked thy bard to adopt
Withal Bill, like wise as MacJeff, upon the head was bopped.

Methought the plots thou would'st use sprung not o' telepathy.
Didst thou never hear the most traitorously corrupted conspiracy?
Brutus's heart wrapp'd in Hillaryous hide.
Interns and China suckling the impotent fool Cheapside.

What more paying play than a corrupted plot untainted
With thrice times two naked villains feinted?
Thou art arm'd that hath thy crook'd schemers straight.
Cudgel thy brains no more, the clinton plots are great.

EZ:
A point well made, experience vicarious
Was grounded in events utmost Hillaryous.
Betruth, the president sustained concussion
Ere I had even started the discussion.

But, lest thy bard be seen to make retreat,
The second bop was truly a repeat.
In consequence, I need no psychic hotline
To reconstruct an oft repeated plotline.

Now, as regards the wretched Cheapside brat,
And turmoil his concupiscence begat,
Need'st have no fear regards unfolding strife
O'er these events, for Art must copy Life.

MIA T:
Eureka! (Not Gadzooks!)
Though I have neither wit, nor words, nor playbooks
Thy bard this simpleminded poster avoidth plagiarize.
(Withal thy bard's own baseborn tendency contrariwise.)

Now, as regards the wretched Cheapside brat,
And turmoil his concupiscence begat,
Methinks MacJeff's crook'd feelpolitik, the lasix death, his solipsistic sex
Thou must put in cold blood'd cardiovascular context.

The brain deviseth laws for the blood,
but the brain 'tself is ne'er understood.
The King's crook'dness flows from limp circulation.
Methinks the solution is swift amputation.

EZ:
Thou place thy versifier in a quandary,
Redoubling thy most sharp-edged entendre.
The gist of they intent can I but gape on.
Dost thou propose the prez be made a capon?

In blood caught up these wretches play their role,
But this must not become Le Grand Guignol.
Lest those of delicate mien be made to faint,
'Twere better I should exercise restraint.

Mind you, Act I, scene 4 drips the odd bit of gore here and there.

MIA T:
Thy bard's excessive predilection metaphorical
confuseth redoubled sharp-edged entendre with one blunt oracle.

Forsooth, thy bard surely knowth,
Phallus on eunuch can't growth.
Plucking capon from hen's an impossibility,
Unless the cluck's hermaphroditic Hillary.

The fundamental clinton rape issue isn't whether hillary 'believed bill,' or 'enabled bill'.
The fundamental clinton rape issue is that hillary participated.

While Sean Hannity correctly zeroed in on the clinton rape of Juanita Broaddrick, one of the issues that should automatically disqualify missus clinton for any position of power, he sabotaged his own line of attack.

Hannity's setup question, whether hillary 'believed' bill, was a dodge. And a not very artful dodge. As Sean Hannity knows well, the issue isn't whether hillary 'believed bill'; the issue is that hillary participated. In that rape as well as in all the other clinton rapes and predations.

There is reason to believe that he is a rapist ("You better get some ice on that," Juanita Broaddrick says he told her concerning her bit lip), and that he bombed a country to distract attention from legal difficulties arising from his glandular life, and that. ... Furthermore, the bargain that he and his wife call a marriage refutes the axiom that opposites attract. Rather, she, as much as he, perhaps even more so, incarnates Clintonism

GEORGE WILL, SLEAZE, THE SEQUEL

[FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU! FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME!]

HILLARY CLINTON: 30-year career abusing women

(viewing movie requires Flash Player 7, available HERE)

Hannity of all people should know this. He interviewed Broaddrick on precisely that point. (A video and analysis of that interview is in the works.)

Broaddrick described to him in shocking detail the meeting with hillary clinton that occurred several weeks after the rape. missus clinton went to that meeting for the express purpose of warning Broaddrick to keep her mouth shut. (She and the rapist entered the room, she approached Broaddrick (whom she had never met before) while a slinking rapist stayed behind, she proceeded to warn Broaddrick, she and the rapist immediately left.)

In Hannity's original Estrich-Broaddrick interview, he was honest about the real issue. But even then he ultimately failed because he neglected to expose the following clinton casuistry being spun by Estrich:

  1. the 'statute of limitation' on rape should apply to the clintons in the Broaddrick rape,
  2. the postmodern construction of 'rape,' i.e., the definition of rape is subjective, i.e., what is considered rape by the victim isn't necessarily considered rape by the rapist,
  3. the definition of rape has morphed over time, i.e., what is rape today wasn't necessarily rape in the '70s.

On point 1, the statute of limitation on rape applies in a court of law, not in the voting booth. The question we are deciding isn't whether the clintons should be thrown in the slammer (another matter for another day); the question is less onerous, (from the clintons' perspective, anyway): Do the clintons have the character to be president?

The reductio ad absurdum is Christopher Shays' comment, made after he viewed the Ford building evidence on the rape of Broaddrick: "I believed that he had done it. I believed her that she had been raped 20 years ago. And it was vicious rapes, it was twice at the same event." Asked if the president is a rapist, Shays said, "I would like not to say it that way. But the bottom line is that I believe that he did rape Broaddrick."

And yet Shays voted not to impeach. Purportedly because he asked the wrong question. ("Where was the obstruction of justice?") (Any cognitive dissonance Shays may have experienced rendering that verdict was no doubt assuaged by the political plum clinton gave to Mrs. (Betsi) Shays...)

And so we had two more years of the clinton Nano-Presidency. And with it, inexorably, 9/11.

Regarding points two and three: Juanita's bitten lip, swollen to twice its normal size, the hallmark of a serial rapist, is the obvious counterexample.

Real Rape should be required reading... for Susan Estrich.

ADDENDUM:

Ignoring the facts of the case, ignoring the 'real rape' paradigm, indeed, ignoring her own writings on 'real rape,' Susan Estrich, on Hannity and Colmes, pimping for yet another rapist presidency, dismissed out of hand Juanita Broaddrick's credible charge, that she was raped by the clintons.

In response, Juanita Broaddrick has offered to meet with Susan Estrich to discuss the matter. Estrich turned her down flat. (SUSAN ESTRICH RESPONDS TO JUANITA BROADDRICK'S OFFER TO SPEAK ABOUT HER RAPE -- "not interested")

Geffen, who was a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was president, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y in New York City.

Kill or capture bin Laden and clinton could kiss the 'accord' and the Peace Prize good-bye.

IT TAKES A CLINTON TO RAZE A COUNTRY
by Mia T, 11.14.05

(viewing movie requires Flash Player 7, available HERE)

GIVEN:

  • hillary clinton is a "CONGENITAL LIAR",

  • the seditious Left caused America to telegraph our every intention to the UN for almost a year, engineering the ludicrous slow-mo, blow-by-blow buildup to war.

  • we now learn from none other than the seditious, (and obviously not too swift) classified-data disseminator and memogate schemer himself--Sen. Jay Rockefeller--that he gave our enemies in the Mideast a heads-up that we were going into Iraq...

And the Left doesn't think Saddam had more than sufficient time to ship his WMD and WMD components to Syria... or to some other asymmetric netherworld? Gimme a break....

The only conclusion we can make about WMD in Iraq is about what we did find and what we didn't find. The Left, which includes the press, either needs to take a course in logic or needs to face the firing squad.

THE DEMOCRATS ARE GONNA GET US KILLED. It's as simple as that.

How can this country survive when the Democrats and their media accomplices are seditious, unrelenting purveyors of THE BIG LIE? And who do you think set this tactic into motion, anyway?

NOTE: Demonizing a putative liar-president is not the best way to set up the candidacy of the sickest liar of the pack.... Maybe the smart money is trying for an endrun around the incompetent witch....

Wonderful stuff...on so many levels. I can't read most of it without becoming furious all over again. Two things makes me very happy about Clinton. The first is that the blue dress finally proved him to be a liar so all could it see. The second is the much deserved impeachement. My only regret is that he was not convicted and removed from office. In any case, his only legacy is Monica and impeachment. No matter how much this slime ball whines, he can never put humpty dumpty together again. And as noted, history will dim memory of the Internet bubble which alone accounted for the economic boom during his presidency and he had nothing to do with it. Thanks again Mia T. Great work.

Thanks.

I think clinton's ultimate legacy will be the decisions he made.

When he decided not to go after bin Laden, when he decided to pass out our weapons technology like candy, he did these things for his own aggrandizement.

In other words, to enhance his legacy, bill clinton endangered America, endangered Western civilization and endangered the world.

How ironic.

How despicable.

How dumb.
And the Left still thinks this defective is brilliant.
What does that say about the Left?

A CALL TO IMPEACH CLINTON IN ABSENTIA

by Mia T, 11.17.05

id you see it? More to the point, did the American press?

bill clinton made page one of Al Jazeera today. A schizophrenic mix of schadenfreude and agitprop, it was the story of an impeached ex-president of America trashing America--to standing Os--in the Arab state of Dubai--in the middle of a war zone--only several hundred miles from the American troops. And, if that weren't enough, the traitor pocketed $200,000 from the Arabs for his efforts.

Having failed to snare the Nobel Peace Prize by ignoring terrorism, clinton has apparently decided to intensify his America-bashing on foreign soil, the method employed by Jimmy Carter to great (if somewhat belated) effect. (The Nobel committee, sufficiently mollified only after 24 years of the peanut president's America-bashing, awarded Carter his 1978 Peace Prize finally in 2002.)

Meanwhile, back in the Senate, the missus, the other half of the clinton construct, maintains her hawkish pose (although not without bird problems of another sort).

Yet another example of the clinton conflation ploy, (see SCHEMA PINOCCHIO: how the clintons are handling the hillary dud factor), this variant allows "clinton, the construct" to hold two mutually exclusive positions simultaneously, thereby enabling the missus to avoid in '08 the trap that repeatedly ensnared the ever 'nuanced' Kerry in '04.

Do you now understand how stupid the clintons think you are?

C-SPAN asked noted presidential historians to rank the American presidents1 along the following ten dimensions: public persuasion, crisis leadership, economic management, moral authority, international relations, administrative skills, relations with congress, vision/setting an agenda, pursued equal justice for all, and performance within context of times.

bill clinton emerged as middling in most dimensions; he was surpassed in others by a settled mediocrity (Carter) and a putative failure (Nixon). In moral authority, bill clinton was rated dead last.2 He did fairly well in public persuasion, not a surprising finding given the volume of snake oil he managed to peddle during his putative presidency.

"It's NOT the economy, stupid!"

Clinton's best scores were on the economic management and pursued equal justice for all dimensions. However, both of these results are meaningful only insofar as they redound to the moral authority dimension: they are wholly based on clinton fraudulence, cooked books and black poses, respectively; and clinton's shameless Rosa Parks eulogy last week assured us that the insidious brand of clinton racism is alive and well during these tiptoe years of what the clintons hope will be their interregnum.

Note that although Brinkley doesn't place much importance on the economic management dimension--he argues that the economy variable is not durable over time--he fails to recognize that the evaluation of the clinton economy by the historians is erroneous to begin with.

Note also that C-SPAN historians found no evidence of clinton "greatness" irrespective of his moral-authority deficit, contrary to Douglas Brinkley's claim made at the clinton revisionist confab3.

(NOTE: Later research has revealed that Brinkley's qualified mention of clinton "greatness" was not a claim but rather a polite guest's white lie about an abject loser. Instead of taking the AP report at face value, one must carefully parse Brinkley's actual words and especially note the subjunctive construction.)

MIDDLING

Twenty presidents rank higher than bill clinton and 20 rank lower. But this placement assumes equal weight for each of the dimensions. And therein lies the flaw.

If 9/11 taught us anything, it is that presidential character and moral authority count, and count most.4 If the variables are properly weighted, bill clinton will always come out dead last.

That is, unless Americans are dumb enough to make the same mistake twice.

issus clinton is a dud.

I could say she has all of bill clinton's baggage and none of his charm, except I don't find bill clinton charming. What she lacks, in my view, is lubricant. Snake oil. She grates.

It's more than simple dislike. You don't want to see her; and you definitely don't want to hear her.

Missus clinton is everyman's worst nightmare: ex-wife, fishwife, frigid wife, mother-in-law; worse, the abusive Nazi commandant in the Lina Wertmuller masterpiece. When she humiliates, which is always, she dons the military-issue undershirt, she grabs the whip.

The clintons are clearly aware of this problem and are attempting to mitigate it with veneer.

Their first ploy is to pushpoll to artificially jack up missus clinton's numbers; this is a relatively easy task, given a compliant press. This illusion of electability is intended to fool the voters, activate the herd mentality and ultimately fool the smart money of the David Geffen-Harold Ickes stripe.

It won't work. Missus clinton has 100% name recognition. Any vote she doesn't already have, she won't get. Conversely, many voters have 0% information on the clinton abuses of power and utter failures. From this it follows that many votes she has today, she won't have tomorrow.

Their second ploy is to conflate "bill" and "hillary." "The clintons" become a single construct. Missus clinton arrogates bill's "bridge to the 21st century " as "theirs." And, by lifting the lyrics straight from Pinocchio, she becomes "the man from 'hope'."

The danger here for missus clinton is that with the bridge and the hope come the abuses and the utter failures.

AFTERWORD:

Who in heaven's name is writing missus clinton's speeches? They make her sound like a cross between Pinocchio on Halcyon and a clueless tourist from Park Ridge, Illinois driving into Manhattan during rush hour. Oops.

And the plagiarizing... I mean, the clintons are shameless. And it isn't only Pinocchio.

In 2002, I wrote that the bridge to the 21st century was, arguably, clinton's most delusional conceit, that it overshot the mark by at least 1400 years.

To be fair, missus clinton's 19th-century reference is to that <yawn> retrograde 'retrograde Republicans' cliché, whereas my 7th-century reference is to the retrograde-in-fact islamofascist terrorists, whose jihadi declarations and acts of war against us the clintons willfully ignored for eight long years--allowing al Qaeda to grow exponentially in strength and reach, setting us up--very nicely, thank you--for 9/11 and its cataclysmic aftermath.

WRONG! I get so sick of people who excuse their actions with, "I paid for that." You cannot take away the pain you caused others SO you DID NOT "pay for that." The whole concept of "I paid for that" is a moral fallacy used by disgusting people.
