The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

Edited on 05/11/2006 1:43:29 AM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

President Reagan faced down the Soviets and ended the cold war, but the Beast is still with us. It simply changes form. Whether it appears in the form of Bolshevism, Nazism, fascism, communism, Islamofascism, etc, it is the same enemy: Totalitarianism. The all powerful state.

Today we are fighting Islamic terrorism. It's just another example of the Beast rearing its ugly head in its never-ending quest to destroy freedom. The Beast cannot co-exist with free people nor we with it.

We also see the Beast trying to make inroads into America through radical feminism, homosexualism, abortionism, radical environmentalism, creeping socialism, illegal immigration, etc.

The goal is to demoralize and erode away our will and ability to fight by destroying the traditional family unit, destroying our moral society, denying us our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, right to peaceable assembly, right to keep and bear arms, our right to life and right to self governance. The Beast must rule and must rule with an iron fist. Tyranny, totalitarianism is the game.

While we are at war with an obvious foreign enemy that attacks with fire and bombs, we have another not so obvious enemy here at home that aids and abets the known foreign enemy.

We must not allow this domestic enemy to destroy us from within. The enemy I'm speaking of erodes away our constitution, our traditions, our society. It infiltrates and controls our government departments and agencies at every level. Infiltrates our public institutions, schools, churches, news media, entertainment industry, corporate entities, especially our political parties.

I'm speaking of the old enemy of Marxism/communism, more well known here at home as socialism/liberalism. It uses government enforced tools of radical feminism, homosexualism, radical environmentalism, abortionism, racism, atheism, confiscatory taxation, social security, medicare, welfare, redistributionism, compulsory government education, compulsory unionism, overburdening regulation, and many other forms of government overstepping, expansion, intrusion and abuse.

And I'm directly speaking of the primary American home of socialism/liberalism and the party that champions all of the above isms and includes them in their party platform, and in addition to all of the above also directly aids and abets the foreign enemy: the Democrat Party.

Not to name names, but I'm speaking of Kennedy, Schumer, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Kerry, Gore, Dean, McKinney, Boxer, Feinstein, Feingold, and the list goes on and on and on. And we'll throw in the McCains and Specters, et al, from our side of the aisle for good measure.

We readily recognize all of the above as enemies of our constitution and enemies of self-governance and freedom and we band together to fight them and their partners in crime, otherwise known as the mainstream media, especially when they willingly and knowingly provide aid and comfort to the foreign enemy.

We recognize them when they throw up the big issues of abortionism, feminism, homsosexualism, environmentalism, redistributionism, and get up close and personal with their in your face perversions.

We recognize them as the enemy when they take away our rights, take away our guns, take our tax dollars, take our families, our children, deprive us of our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use the ACLU and other radical anti-freedom legal organizations against us.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use their organized labor unions against us.

We recognize them when they use International ANSWER and other socialist/communist fronts against us.

We recognize the enemy when they use liberal activist judges against us to get around the constitution and or to overrule the will of the people as expressed at the ballot box.

Now what I want to know is, why do we fall to pieces and eat our own when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration? Hmmmmm?

It's the same liberal/socialist/Marxist/communist groups and people that we've been fighting all along. It's the same enemy using the same tools!

The game has not changed! It's the same old enemy!

The radical Marxist/socialists are behind the illegals.

The same radical feminist/homosexualist/abortionist/environmentalist antiwar pinko communist union thug that joins any other leftist protest is right back there helping the illegal immigrant gain entry into America.

And they're using the same divide and conquer techniques. They infiltrate our political parties and organizations. They plant disinformation bombs and sow the seeds of political discontent. They are masters in the use of propaganda and rabble rousing.

Recognize the enemy for what he is and do not allow them to use divisive issues to destroy our conservative movement. We are winning. We must not be sidetracked by an issue that will be solved in due time as we elect more conservative members to our government and continue replacing liberal activist judges with constitutionalists.

The goal is the same as it's always been. We must hold the line and advance our cause. Never willingly give ground to the liberal/socialists! Never retreat! Never surrender!

The Beast must be destroyed!

Sorry Jim, you do noble work, but I'm afraid the BDS has invaded FR.

Free Republic was a place to plot and plan the destruction of our enemies, the MSM/DNC Party.

Many have fallen, jumped, and given up the fight because its easier to join them, if you can't beat them.

Fortunately there are still some who have not been infected with the Bush Derangement Syndrome, and they fight on!

We need to stand strong for W, because I believe he is standing strong for us.

That's where I disagree. I think that W is purposely leaving our borders open and the result is going to be the disintegration of our culture.

These free trade treaties are erasing our national borders and in the eyes of people from third world countries we are inviting their lawless migration. The further proof they see of this is the socialist civil benefits we bestow upon them with no questions about US citizenship.

When Laura Bush applauded the Spanish version of God Bless America I almost vomited. As Republican legislators promote low cost loans, reducing the costs of medical care to nil, volunteering advanced education programs, restricting law enforcement that reduces the numbers of these illegal aliens I see this as advancing treason and marxism.

Five years ago I predicted we would be in this position that we are today. The Republican Party has become the step brother of the Democrats. Why hasn't Bush used his powers of veto even once? These legislators have common goals, that's why.

Yes, I scratched my head when Bush nominated moderates and Democrat holdovers to his cabinet and to senior administration positions: Colin Powell, Christi Todd Whitman, Paul O’Neill, George Tenet, etc.

Something fishy is going on. It became more obvious when he didn't veto the McCain-Feingold Incumbent Protection Act. Now it is more difficult than ever to get rid of the long time defenders of socialism.

When Bush planted Norman Minetta in his Cabinet as the Sec. of Transportation I was suspicious. Why would a R President implant a D Sec. of Transportation in his Cabinet unless the goals of both major political parties were lay ahead in the same direction? Did this mean that there was no secrets between the parties? IMO, yes that's what it does mean.

Ridge, Minetta, and Bush all joined hands about not arming airline pilots. Then when we demanded they do it, they composed the sloppiest, most inefficent plan ever to do it.

The way Bush supports the Border Patrol. An Eagle Boy Scout could do a better job of securing the borders than the Commander in Chief has done.

He's got a team in DC that is intent on destroying the American system of government and is placing us under a globalist World Order that rebukes the US Constitution.

I will not be surprised to see the Republican Party divide into the Conservative Republican Party and the Socialist Republican Party, the same way the Democrats now have the Progressive Democrats.

We are in for a rough ride in the coming years ahead as we try to stop this communist compassion for third world migration. My vote and financial backing will go to the Minutemen and the Constitution Party candidates, not members of the two morphed political parties.

The dems are history. Conservatism won the battle of ideas and the moderate and liberal republicans are riding the conservative victory wave to being a bigger monster than the dems ever were. Wake up.

I agree with most everything you say. This stumps me though. I see a bright future for dems especially with the rise of the mexican population.

The immigration issue is one that will ultimately define our country and way of life. Who will stand up against this socalistic invasion? We have no more time to debate this issue. There is a tipping point of sheer numbers that will make debate meaningless.

Needs repeating

Real conservatives don't cut and run. They hold the ground they have and fight for more. Those who are advocating a loss for the GOP in 2006 are advocating a cut and run strategy. A guaranteed loser.

Real conservatives will fight on.

I posted something this morning on what is now a dead thread. This looks like a good place to put it. I'll change just a few words but not the message.

The sting of deceit is much deeper when it comes from those whom you trusted & expected to do better. We though are the overlords of our government and must take responsibility for it. We a free people have the authority to hire and fire our leaders at election time. We have lost site of the fact they work for us. They take that fact for granted.

Right now the anger of many in this nation is running deep. Persons like carpenters are seeing their standard of living being lowered. I posted this the other night. It wasn't so long ago in America even a ditch digger with a pick and shovel could provide a living for his family on one income. That day is gone right now.

There is a division and it is deep between the working people blue collar who depend on their labor skills to live on and ones who live by investments in stocks, are high on corporate ladders, and reap the benefits of cheap foreign labor legal and illegal at the expense of their neighbors.

We have good high skilled Americans in Engineering fields and the Electronics/Computer Technology related fields being displaced either by outsourcing or imported workers. To them this is a real and serious issue also. Corporate bottom dollars have taken over the leadership of our nation. It is true in many areas including Health Care which as best as I can tell is also being purposely destroyed for National Health Care to be overseen by large corporate interest.

There are conspiracy and there are conspiracy theories. When it's your neighbor being affected it is conspiracy theory and he's over reacting. When it's you however being on the losing end you see the conspiracy more clearly. Much of this is conspiracy. It is a deliberate effort being made by globalist to put this nation into at the least a hemispheric government and economy and at the most One World Government. Those of us who are Christians were warned this was to happen.

I don't believe there has been a deeper distrust in our nations leadership in general in nearly 150 years going back to the pre-Civil War. Even the Great Depression people relied on God, Self, & the moral character of their neighbor and those whom we elected to do what was right for the good of the nation.

Individuals who either by adversity or by sheer anger and outrage have forged much of the good that came in the form of the founding of our nation. They were not a majority as many would have us believe. Many in this nation were perfectly content to live under tyranny of the crown because of their secure personal positions with the crown or out and out fear of it. Thankfully however enough were not that content.

The signers of the Documents gave their word Their Sacred Honor to stand against the tyranny of the day. Most lost all they had. Some of them as well who didn't sign lost personal fortunes and are some of the biggest traditional investment names we know today. None were repaid.

I don't think anyone is asking anyone in here to pick up arms and take over a nation. There simply is no need for it especially at this point in time. The most effective weapon we have besides our weapons we have in our home is our voice and our vote. The framers gave us that to carry on their name and that Sacred Honor.

It's disheartening to see fear of political parties being used by career politicians to literally divide our nation and scare voters into being enablers to their wrongs simply because their wrongs are lesser wrongs than the other mans So They Say.

There is nothing that gets this old Tennessee Hillbilly's back up quicker than to be threatened by fear or intimidation by someone to let them walk all over me or mine. I don't care if it's a political party or a Labor Union doing it as the original Minutemen of this nation stated "Don't Tread On Me".

One poster whom I thought was wise enough to know better has called the Minutemen a joke. Calling them such calls the ones who founded this nation such as well. Their dedication to freedom and this nation is not a joke.

Yes we are a nation of many with room for plenty. Tell me posters does your own home no matter how large it is not have a limit to the number of persons who can live in it? Is their not a limit to the number of mouths you can feed and persons you can provide for? What do you do when uninvited guest or even invited ones start eating you out of house and home and run up bills so extreme that your children will be paying the debt? What do you do?

We are forgetting something these are not an oppressed people except for their complete lack of will to stand against the corruption and tyranny of their own homeland. They do live in a nation free enough to vote their own future. As such we owe them nothing especially not at the expense of our children and grandchildren future. That is not ours to give away! It is not morally right to enslave them by doing this to our nation. If anyone thinks they are coming here to be good voting conservatives I have Arizona Swamp land to sell. They are Socialist leaving a Socialist nation to import it here and take over. They plainly say as much & I believe them.

To the Minutemen I say Thank You. To ones like Travis McGee who tried to sound the alarm to some very real not so civil possibilities that may be coming if this goes unresolved I say Thank You. To those who wish to enable tyrants from both parties to continue us on this present destructive course due to your greedy personal gains on the stock market or for selfish political reasons & ambition to you I say you have my utmost contempt. IOW party officals or officers saying all is well etc.

This nation has a congress problem much bigger than any other branch of our government. It must be brought back to Constitutional Order. That means sacrifice. It means judging individual candidates based on their merit and what they say and do rather than their party membership as being fit for the HONOR to serve in our congress. Yes that means supporting Conservative Independents as well.

We have an elective system to bring change. I want to remind people that the GOP was born of division of a previous political party. It took more or less than 7 years to have a sitting POTUS in office. That was in an age of limited media and communication so don't hand me the it takes decades to do it nonsense. It was born of Dems, Whigs, and several Third Parties and it is called the GOP. It can be replaced in the manner in which it came to be.

No one holding public office nor any party is entitled to their position because of their party status it must like trust be earned. Actually it is a trust and our leaders have betrayed it. Much trust in todays political parties has been betrayed and so far only a hand full are willing within them to stand up and say what is right. Those unfortunately usually face the ridicule of both party and some who are so blind they can't see beyond a very warped political party loyalty. It's our nation to keep or loose and time is growing short on that matter.

I likely have a lesser formal education than many in here. My knowledge of government came from high school in a community that Political Correctness had not yet destroyed. I understand how it is supposed to work and I understand how it is with prejudice by many of our elected being destroyed. I don't fear DEMs and I don't fear Republicans. They put their pants on and breath GOD's air the same as me. I however loathe the tyrants from both of the parties who have led our nation to this point. I will not join ones wishing to help them continue it either. To those you will NEVER receive my vote again. I do not vote on fear or intimidation so don't go there. I refuse with all my being to vote for more of the same. When enough persons get angry enough to do no less change will come and a government restored.

I do indeed object to the tone, for it serves no purpose. In fact, it appears that the tone is what some want to keep elevated astronomically. You're exactly right about this fight being justified. It is. Yet I find no sense in ripping each other to shreds over it. I only speak as one man.

Your thought speak volumes. Now, when then do we flock to those who elevate the tone to the ultra high decibel and those who cause the fights. Sometimes against the enemy and sometimes amongst ourselves.

Our tone needs to be civil whether we're fighting Harry Reid or the President.

Do you have a plan for getting real conservatives elected in blue states?

Sure, join in the local/state GOP along with other conservative groups, and WORK to make ANY head way you can.

I live in Maryland -- historically one of the lousiest -- most corrupt -- blue states ever.

We now have conservatives in congressional spots held for years by rats.

It started with a pretty successful effort at getting conservative state legislators and other officials elected...not the least of which is a Republican Governor for the first time in decades -- and -- a (black) conservative Lt. Governor who is now the Republican candidate for the Senate...and leading both rat candidates by 5%-7%.

That didn't happen because people gave up on breaking the rat stranglehold that was there for SO many years.

We are far from where we want to be, but we are plodding along -- never settling -- until we can get whatever is possible, even if not foreseeable today.

Michael Steele -- with a VERY good chance of winning a US Senate seat from a State -- in my memory -- hasn't had a Republican Senator in many decades.

THAT wouldn't even had ranked as a pipe dream 6-10 years ago!

Don't give up, get involved (in addition to posting at Freerepublic) -- find like minded people and help them find a way to join others. Disheartened people don't participate and usually only need a way to get involved and not feel powerless. Be someone who finds out what and where the groups that already exist are -- find people that want a place to join in -- and put them together. One note...I'm talking about those other than the ones who don't want a chance to quit their bitching and DO something.

Because a bunch of posters here think it's no big deal that a foreign country is exporting is poorest and most vulnerable citizens to our Nation. Also because a whole bunch of party big wigs, including the President, think it's no big deal either. In fact most of them think we're a bunch of ignorant, racist, redneck rubes that's why.

Hasn't that always been the case? The U.S. has always received the "poorest and most vulnerable citizens" whether it was poor Germans seeking better economic opportunities in the 1800's, "vulnerable" Puritans fleeing England for their lives in the 1600's, "poor" Irish who didn't want to starve to death in the Potato Famine, Eastern Europeans fleeing the Iron Curtain, and now poor Mexicans seeking a better life. Do you think that if any of the previously mentioned countries shared a border with the U.S. their citizens would not be trying to enter the same way as the Mexicans are?

I would ask, how in the world does voting for a party that will not stop illegal immigration stop illegal immigrants?

Both parties are the same, and neither are listening to the people. much the dems do could be undone later, if the Republicans lost, but allowing the border to be declared open is not something that can be easily reversed.

My logic in supporting the idea of staying home is that this border issue is so important that everything else pales in significance.

President Bush is now trying to build his own legacy...but he does not realize that it will not turn out like he thinks it will. Were it not for this one issue, he would have my strong support.

It looks too much like he is in cahoots with people engaged in some nasty business, IMHO.

We HAVE to own the battle field (congress) to stay in the fight. Give it to the RATS and you can't do SH*T but sit around and pontificate.

After demonstrating the ability of a group of people (Like FReepers) to expose the big lie for what it is, wherever we encounter it, do you think we would be long allowed to even pontificate?

The obvious enemies of freedom brazenly tout their Socialist Caucus in Congress, but the most foul are those who would wave the flag, even as they trample it.

We need to clean our own ranks of the latter, and staying home isn't going to get the job done. Send them a message in the primaries, but do not give the field to the Democrats, either.
