If this had been a Republican event in Tucson today there would have been just one death, the gunmen. Several in that kind of a crowd would have pulled their weapons and aeriated him immediately.

This is a war of marketing and the left is good at this game. They have, in the minds of most, successfully spun this shooter, the Discover channel shooter, and the IRS plane bomber as all ‘right wingers’ even though every single one of them were overt leftists.
It is just like how they have painted the ‘right’ as racists even though their side is the one with the history of racism.
We need to realize how they play this game and it is important piece of the bigger puzzle, almost as important as the principles.
It is a learning moment for us as in all of these cases. Learn how the left reacts. See how they control the news cycle. See how they frame the definitions and events. We don’t need to compromise our principles to fight on that battle ground as well.

I have attended five Tea Party events; first one, concealed carry, the rest open carry.
Always got a positive response, and usually an admission of carrying themselves.
I don’t know if no one else would have been wounded, but I can guaran-damn-tee you the perp wouldn’t have survived.
Hugely important point: the shooter loves both International Socialism and National Socialism -- but who is the mainstream media (bless their lying hearts) going to blame: Conservatives.
Also note: the US Army has now reported that shooter was rejected for military service in 2008.
That stopped the original claims that this fellow was a veteran of Afghanistan!
