The mainstream media will get around to covering abortion this month as the nation marks 40 years of legalized abortion for any reason throughout pregnancy via Roe v Wade. Time magazine has released its issue, which comes to a shocking conclusion...
The article makes the pro-abortion case that, while abortion is still legal, it is increasingly difficult to access thanks to the closing of so many abortion clinics and pro-life laws that help women by giving them additional information and alternatives.
The magazine also contains an article from Emily Buchanan of the pro-life women’s group Susan B. Anthony List that rebuts what has become the modern talking point for Planned Parenthood and other abortion defenders — that abortion is about protecting women’s health....

The reasons fewer women died from abortions were new and better antibiotics, better surgery and the establishment of intensive care units in hospitals. This was in the face of a rising population. Between 1967 and 1970 sixteen states legalized abortion. In most it was limited, only for rape, incest and severe fetal handicap (life of mother was legal in all states). There were two big exceptions — California in 1967, and New York in 1970 allowed abortion on demand. Now look at the charts carefully. When did maternal mortality rates start dropping significantly?

So how many women’s lives have been saved by abortion?
Less than 3% of abortions since 1972 were reported to be “due to a risk to maternal health.” A reasonable person would recognize that not all of those cases represent a lethal risk. But let’s say they did. That means that nearly 55 million fetuses were butchered to save the lives of about 1.6 million women. Or put another way; 34 babies are killed to save each woman.
Abortion was legal in all 50 states prior to Roe v. Wade in cases of danger to the life of the woman.

After the last election I became ardently pro abortion and pro-sterilization. It just appears to me too be the only way to break the welfare -entitlement culture that gets demonrats elected.
The only way to overcome the demonrats is to decrease their numbers. It would be better if they do that themselves rather than some sort of civil war. So, I say any never married woman who has more than two children should be forcibly sterilized. Any unmarried man who fathers children with more than one woman should be sterilized. (The definition of marriage should perhaps be amended to include couples that live together for longer than 6 months)
Promote abortion to the inner city. Provide it for free to any registered democrat. Bring the birth rate down to zero.
The only problem is demonrats can vote in at least 15 elections after they are dead. So I would imagine that all those aborted children of demonratic constituents would still start voting 18 years later
I realize this is an evil position. But there are no good solutions. All choices are evil. This appears to me to be the least evil
