This thread is incredible to me! I am a Christian, but Christians LOVE debate. What is going on here?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/2130508/posts
Nehemiah 4:
“Defend your families” with weapons is the theme.
It was simply done in support of the original posters' contention on the thread in the religion forum that began this "discussion" that she has been a member of FR for the past 5 years and not the mere nine months that her current FR screen name suggests.
I understand why you pulled it, and now I hope you understand why I posted it.
Thank you.
In the Apostle Paul’s case
Paul was zealously doing everything he could to serve
ALMIGHTY GOD.
God ways honors those who truly SEEK HIM.
Such is not the case with Obamao nor a lot of other current leaders nor with some of the Pharisees of Jesus’ day whom HE CALLED
sons of satan.
It is easy to pray for them to repent from evil. I just will not stand for evil. Would you pray for a rapist while he was raping your daughter? Of course not. You would fight against the evil being perpetuated on her. Our country is being raped by evil right now. You can pray as you fight.
Scripture teaches us that multiple Believers praying in agreement are more powerful.
1 shall put a thousand to flight; 2 10,000 to flight the Bible says.
Also, reading another’s prayers helps us articulate our hearts and spirits better sometimes.
Freerepublic is awesome, but the “Religion Forum” is a freaking joke. The “religion moderator” loves all things Catholic; as well as, people who post fake relgions threads that actually put down other relgions and denominations. You can post there and tell everyone to pray that you have a good night making love to animals, and it will be fine.
From and email today
News has leaked that Barack Obama has been working for “months”
with four-dozen advisors on a plan to implement his leftist
agenda starting on Day One.
We now know that Obama will sign Executive Orders
immediately to force taxpayer funding of overseas
abortions AND to reverse the Bush policy limiting
tax funding for embryonic stem cell research!
This means that Obama will launch his radical pro-abortion agenda
on DAY ONE of his presidency — and he will make YOU pay for
his anti-life policies through your taxes!
Grassfire.org is organizing a nationwide campaign
to ban together and RESIST President-elect Obama’s radical agenda.

Get a grip.
I pray the same prayer for all of our enemies.
1. You are more than worth it many times over.
2. You have more than earned any encouragements any of us bother to send your way.
3. You are welcome.
4. May God strengthen your arms, patience, tough hide, kindness . . . all of which seem to be miraculously expansive to begin with.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIRELESS, THANKLESS SERVICE TO THE BODY OF CHRIST, TO FR AND TO ALL US CATS YOU HERD AMAZINGLY WELL.
I don’t think you have the least bit of a clue about

nor about
—The Religion Forum.
Thanks for that link and information.
Hideous.
BTW, any chance that the RC hierarchy will begin forceful and very public excommunications of the legion of legislators who violate Church doctrine and law????
Long past time, I’d say.
Given Obamao’s reign, I’d think it was crucial for the Roman Church to do so.
Pray for LIFE!

Lists are fine with me. You do a great job with them.
I have noticed most of those things as they’ve come up.
However, I don’t see any clear evidence that the Bishops nor Cardinals nor Pope will put any teeth into any of it.
It just sounds like a lot of intellectual face-saving blather with no consequences for murdering infants and having legislative blood on their hands for doing so.
Too bad. I prayed for Obama and Biden most days before the election. My prayer was that, starting in January, the two men would do a great job in the US Senate representing the great states of Illinois and Scranton ...... I mean Delaware.
The answer I got to that prayer was not what I wanted.
Since the election, my daily prayers include, "Lord, please protect our nation from the liberals".
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. - Phillipians 4:6-7
That is a wonderful prayer, Blogger, and one I fully agree with.
Ed
Ok, then I think we should keep the no disrespect rule enforce on the prayer threads. The Religion Moderator has done a great job maintaining sanity on our Religion Forum.
Thanks
