I haven’t seen this addressed anywhere: How long has the number 7 typically had a line through it to insure that it is read as a seven and not something else? I notice this in the BC application number. How far back does this practice go?

Good question. It goes a long ways back, well before OCR. I picked it up in the early 70s when I was first being taught computers. Its usage was typical in the computer books of that time, so I guess it goes back much farther than that.

Actually, there is a Supreme Court case that indicates he is a bona fide POTUS..if born in the US.

But that isn’t what I was saying at all.

Just believe whatever you want. You clearly can’t read the law.

I haven't analyzed the fonts, hoping someone else will look some up and I can go along for the ride. I am still skeptical about the look of the printing as I pointed out here:

/focus/news/2306755/posts?page=254#254

Also later in that thread it was pointed out that the JPEG compression of the photo makes font analysis harder.

Yes, that’s the one. You’re right it was on Dutch paper. But did it have any of the same names on there, e.g. registrar etc as on the Kenyan BC.

Like I said, the Kenyan BC can be easily disproved if it’s a fake. I mean the first thing is to go to this book it references, and look up the page number etc. where the birth is recorded.

But of course, that could have been altered by now, so you would have to look at the signatures and the people listed.

I find it believeable that the document was obtained for divorce and was probably on file in some Hawaii courthouse and someone copied it, but if you look at it, it looks like it’s an original with the seal embossed.

Then it was stolen from the court files?

Very strange.

That statement among others. He was reiterating the comments he had read.

I do not believe that Polarik takes this as “Bogus” birth document. This document is as good as you or anyone is going to get from the registrar in any Kenyan district. There isn’t anything inherently bogus about it in the way that there is with the Hawaii COLB in that there is not another actual “Birth Certificate” as the primary document.

In Kenya, the proimary document is a big heavy book, with sequentially numbered intact pages, and the birth record is inscribed on one of these pages. That is the primary record, and it is not avialable for issuance. All anyone will get is an attestation in a prescribed form as to its content. That is what was issued in 1964. It is a real document with typed words on it and a signature, which makes it much more amenable to verification than a laser printed sheet of paper with no real signature.

What about the two different Registrars listed? E.F. Lavender and Mr. Miller??

I don't think it's Mr. Miller, but rather M.R. Miller. If the typist had left out the period after the "M" then typed the "R", he/she would have had to manually push back and hold the carriage and then overstrike part of the "M" with a period which is pretty much what the image shows.

(c) Notwithstanding the provision of subsection (a) of this section, a person born, after December 23, 1952, outside the United States and out of wedlock shall be held to have acquired at birth the nationality status of his mother, if the mother had the nationality of the United States at the time of such person’s birth, and if the mother had previously been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year.

Not sure about the last clause. Certainly his mother was in the US continuously for over one year, but not prior to his birth. The clause doesn't make that distinction so he would be a US citizen. But of course, that is not the issue, IMO. If this BC is true, he lied about where he was born and has spent a large amount of money to cover it up.

Welcome to FreeRepublic as a poster. You have provided valuable information — mainly because you know the exact dates you acquired your album. I don’t know if you mentioned it, but it is likely that the stamps you acquired in 1964 were older — sitting around in stock somewhere.

I wonder what Stanley Ann, or even Stanley Dunham would think about all this fuss over their comings and goings? They are probably laughing their hearts out. Somehow, I doubt that Madelyn would be amused at all this attention.

I’ve read almost all of this thread, and my head is spinning and eyes are crossed. Thanks for your contribution. Keep posting.

What about the 1898 case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark in which the Supreme Court of the United States decided that any person born in the United States is a citizen of the United States regardless of their parents’ citizenship?

If it's not, I'm sure the powers that be have contingencies in mind. A taste of civil unrest for a week or so might entice people to "all get along." A court of law couldn't convict OJ Simpson.

Unless whitey is willing to resort to counter violence ( which I doubt enough are )what you say is right on

Not quite.

Madaraka Day - June 1, 1963:

- Kenya was given sovereignty over their political affairs and their resources
- Kenya was given a Bill of Rights to be enforced by an independent judiciary
- Kenya created a democratic Nation by rule of law

Jamuhuri (Republic) Day - December 12, 1963:

December 12th 1963 (Jamuhuri or Republic Day), Kenya attained independent dominion status within the British Commonwealth under a constitution that was negotiated and agreed at three multi-party Constitutional Conferences held in London and Nairobi between 1961 and 1963.

December 12, 1964, Kenya became a republic and the last British governor in Kenya departed, leaving Kenyatta to steer the country as its first president.
