The Clinton Legacy Cookbook

The only item to escape the Clinton Administration
without DNA on it!

August 27 2000, I posted a simple Thread. That was the beginning of an adventure that has lasted all of these months.

A fun and fanciful look at the world of great food and witty politics expertly blended by renowned master Chef Carlo Morelli!  This 272 page collection of favorite recipes, hilarious cartoons, and whimsical humor is a true recipe for sidesplitting and tummybustin' fun. In gratitude to the collaborative effort of over 200 Freeper contributors, proceeds from the sale of this venture will advance the heroic efforts of the FreeRepublic.com.

Among Chef Carlo's accomplishments, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Empire Cruise Lines, and the site coordinator and Chief of Protocol of the Southern Governors Conference.  He owned or managed over 56 restaurants and hotels, including Houston's world renowned, four-star French restaurant Le Pavillon ; Élan, the award-winning chain of 14 private clubs with nationwide locations; The Cowboy Club, with locations in Houston, Dallas, and Memphis; Cadillac Bar in Houston; and the Rice Rittenhouse Hotel Houston, Continental Plaza Chicago, Century Plaza Hotel Beverly Hills, Crown Center Hotel Kansas City, Houston Oaks Westin....... more

e-Bay is driving me nuts. They keep saying I haven't filled out my register form the right way. I'll tell you Carlo, if it weren't you selling this book I'd take a hike. However, I'll try again. Remembering your instructions to me at Thanksgiving on how to fix my brussel sprouts has endeared you to me for life.

Hey! What would Christmas be without a Scrooge? Maybe a big Christmas goose will make the season merry for the easily-offended.

By the way, how do you write "bon apetit" in Italian?

Hey, RPL, MinuteGal says she'll give you a big Christmas Goose if you order a book...

Are your sure you don't want to reconsider??? Leni doesn't offer just anyone a goose, ya know!!!

If you think that recipe was good...for BRUSSEL SPROUTS that is... Wait until you give these babies a try!

TO LIVE FOR BRUSSEL SPROUTS
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees,
1) Grease an appropriate size casserole dish.
2) Put your sprout halves into the dish, outsides down, insides up.
3) Drizzle a tablespoon of melted butter over the spouts and cook for 25 minutes.
The outsides get crisp, the insides get soft, and the very outer leaves become sort of pastry like.

Well, I could always substitute a big Christmas goose with a good Christmas punch!

Cheers, and bottoms up!
