The Clinton Legacy Cookbook

The only item to escape the Clinton Administration
without DNA on it!

August 27 2000, I posted a simple Thread. That was the beginning of an adventure that has lasted all of these months.

A fun and fanciful look at the world of great food and witty politics expertly blended by renowned master Chef Carlo Morelli!  This 272 page collection of favorite recipes, hilarious cartoons, and whimsical humor is a true recipe for sidesplitting and tummybustin' fun. In gratitude to the collaborative effort of over 200 Freeper contributors, proceeds from the sale of this venture will advance the heroic efforts of the FreeRepublic.com.

Among Chef Carlo's accomplishments, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Empire Cruise Lines, and the site coordinator and Chief of Protocol of the Southern Governors Conference.  He owned or managed over 56 restaurants and hotels, including Houston's world renowned, four-star French restaurant Le Pavillon ; Élan, the award-winning chain of 14 private clubs with nationwide locations; The Cowboy Club, with locations in Houston, Dallas, and Memphis; Cadillac Bar in Houston; and the Rice Rittenhouse Hotel Houston, Continental Plaza Chicago, Century Plaza Hotel Beverly Hills, Crown Center Hotel Kansas City, Houston Oaks Westin....... more

set up a booksigning at the next FR Hat Chapter meeting?

You betcha, get me all the particulars, and if there are no conflicts, I would love to be there. It will be great to see everyone again, perhaps a few new Houston area Freepers. Thanks for the invite.

Packer fans will appreciate this...

It's the first day of school and the teacher thought she'd get to know the kids by asking them their name and what their father does for a living.

The first little girl says: "My name is Mary and my daddy is a postman."

The next little boy says: "I'm Andy and my Dad is a mechanic."

Then one little boy says: "My name is Johnny and my father is a striptease dancer in a cabaret for gay men."

The teacher gasps and quickly changes the subject, but later in the school yard the teacher approaches Johnny privately and asks if it was really true that his Dad dances nude in a gay bar.

He blushed and said, "I'm sorry, but my dad plays football for the Minnesota Vikings and I was just too embarrassed to say so."
