And I would like to see Bill Gertz, Robert Spencer, and Stephen Coughlin be some of his national security/foreign policy advisors.

I have INTENSELY studied the evolution-creation debate for about 35 years, and have read something like 250 books on both sides of the issue. I have come to the studied conclusion that evolution is junk science, sort of like man-made global warming. We have been told so many thousands of times, for so many years, that evolution is a fact. As a result many people who are basically uninformed have been brainwashed. You might look at some of the articles and archives at the Discovery Institute. You might want to read some of the offerings by Michael Denton. By the way, Dr. Ken Ham of the creation museum is INCREDIBLY well-informed.

Many politicians have come and gone but the majority have remained the same for years — like Kennedy, McCain, Lott, etc., etc. Illegal immigration has been going on for decades without any serious attempt by the federal government to stem the tide. So — the logical inference is that they, for some reason, desire illegal immigration. We know that senators have a way of leaving office very wealthy. How? Why? Because they suck up to big business. Big business, by the way, is the real beneficiary of illegal immigration. They pay wages that Americans don’t want to work for. It is much more profitable to have a permanent slave class. So we understand the reason for turning a blind eye for so long at illegals streaming across the border. Now those same politicians who allowed illegal immigration in the first place are telling us that we can’t deport the 20 million law-breakers who are here. Why? It’s not because it is physically impossible or heartless. It’s the money!

The really sad thing about this farce is that many uninformed will believe it to the peril of their souls. The church began only fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus. Whether you believe in the resurrection or not (and I do) the church began with a huge number of people really believing that Jesus was raised. If his body was in a tomb, and sometimes later his body was joined with that of his mother, and then a brother, etc., sufficient people would know about it for the Jews who were hostile to Christianity to produce the body. Then they could have said, "Here is your messiah". They could have used the remains of Jesus to squelch the movement. The reason they did not is because THERE WERE NO REMAINS. And there still aren't. And a common objection is, and a good one at that, "Where did the authors of this hoax get Jesus' DNA?"

The league is full of 'gangstas', drug abusers, and murderous thugs. They are apparently proud of their reputation. Now a man comes out and says something that is true and moral -- Homosexual behavior is wrong ... It shouldn't be here, in the USA, etc. Maybe he said it crudely. Perhaps his words were not carefully thought out. Perhaps he really hates the behavior and not the people. I don't know. There are over 160 passages in the Qur'an that teach that it is the responsibility of Muslims to either convert, subjugate, or kill unbelievers -- especially Jews and Christians. The ahadith, collections of sayings and deeds of Mohammed, are considered inspired by Muslims and normative for acceptable behavior. There are multiplied hundreds of statements made by "the prophet" urging all faithful disciples to kill, terrorize, and brutalize. Jihad is defined in these documents as holy war - NOT inner struggle. And it is incumbent on all good Muslims to participate. When Muslims participate in terror and murder, they are not radicals who have "hijacked" a peaceful religion. THEY ARE SIMPLY DOING WHAT THEIR HOLY BOOKS COMMAND THEM TO DO. As long as there are people who believe that Mohammed was a prophet of God, and that the Qur'an is the word of God, this stuff will never go away.

When faced with a fact that is totally inexplicable and which probably always will be, they are not permitted to say "God did it", for then they would cease to be scientists and would become (horrors!) theologians. I am not interested in defending Luther, or Calvin, or Augustine, or Wesley, or the Pope. They were not inspired men. They were not apostles. In many points they all agree with the scritures. In many points they all (IMHO) erred grievously from the scriptures. My job, as a disciple of Jesus, is to teach and defend the doctrine as taught by Jesus and the men to whom the Spirit was promised.

Actually, in the Greek text (consult any good commentary on the original text) Jesus said, "Whatsoever you shall loose on earth SHALL HAVE BEEN LOOSED in heaven, etc..." Jesus was not giving them the authority to make up their own doctrine, rather he was stating that their inspired utterances would echo what had already been determined in the mind of God.

Jesus promised the APOSTLES in John 14 and in John 16 that he would send the Holy Spirit to guide them into ALL truth (obviously spiritual truth), and bring to their remembrance all that he had said to them. In 2 Peter 1:3 Peter said that by the time he wrote that God had granted ALL things that pertain unto life and godliness. So Jesus did what he said he would do. In Jude, verse 3, Jude said that Christians should earnestly contend for THE faith once for all delivered to the saints. (All Christians are saints -- too many passages to cite) Over and over the New Testament writers claimed that the complete gospel was given in the first century. Paul said that if anyone, even himself or an angel from heaven, should preach any other gospel than that which was delivered in the first century, "let him be eternally destroyed." (Galatians 1:6-9) Jesus had earlier said (Matthew 15) that if anyone teaches the traditions of men instead of the teachings of God, that his worship is vain -- useless. The question that Bible believers need to ask and answer is this, "Am I teaching the gospel as found in the scripture, or am I adding to it, deleting from it, or otherwise perverting it?" Along these same lines, Is the Catholic Church, or any other church for that matter, teaching the APOSTOLIC faith or are they teaching the uninspired doctrines of men that originated after the apostles' day? We have no God-given authority to teach anything that is not in the scriptures -- no matter what any council, or synod, or self-styled inspired man may say.

They (The Episcopals) clearly do not believe the scriptures any more. Sinners are justified when they have the kind of faith that Abraham had, Romans 4, Galatians 3, James 2. The inspired scriptures (not church traditions) taught that an apostacy - a falling away from the faith - would occur. ( 1 Timothy 4:1 and following ) As part of that apostacy, some influenced by seducing spirits and demons would speak lies, including the lie that forbids some to marry. In another place the inspired word of God teaches "because of fornications (unlawful sexual conduct) let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife her due, and likewise also the wife unto the husband." (1 Corinthians 7:1-3) Catholics believe that vows of celibacy make one more holy. Again the word of God says that such severity to the body is of no value against he indulgence of the flesh. Have not legions of frustrated priests made that very apparent? If the apostate Catholic church would go back to the scriptures they would first recognize that all Christians are priests. ( 1 Peter 2:1-5; Hebrews 13:15; Romans 12;1,2) Then they would encourage men to do the normal thing and marry a woman. (Romans 1:26,27) Perhaps being then sexually satisfied as God intended, they could stop preying on men and boys. Back to the scriptures! They are and always have been very practical.

All religions have a spectrum of commitment among their members. There are those who are highly committed to Christianity, for instance, who take the Bible very seriously and try to live by all its requirements. There are others, who claiming to be Christians, approach the scriptures cafeteria style — accepting what they like and rejecting what they don't like. The Moslems who are telling us that Islam is a religion of peace are the religious liberals of that religion. They do not really believe the numerous passages in the Koran that teach Muslims to kill unbelievers. But as long as there are religious conservatives, that is, Muslims who really believe that the Koran is the word of God, there will be terrorism. Like it or not, this is a battle against Islam.
