Any scholar who knows archaeology should discuss his theory in the presence of scholars who know the Valley of the Kings and are working there now. Instead, this theory was analysed by Egyptologists who have never worked in the valley or written a single article on Tutankhamun or his tomb. Reeves has gained a lot of publicity for saying nothing.

Neferneferuatenher full name meaning Beautiful are the beauties of Aten, a Beautiful Woman has come.
Did you know:
The beauty of the iconic Nefertiti bust may only be skin deep. CT scans in 2009 revealed that underneath the surface of smooth painted stucco is the sculptor Thudmose’s more realistic limestone carving of a woman with wrinkled cheeks and a bump on her nose.

Remark About Mummy Called 'Tacky'May 25, 1996| Associated Press
LIMA, Peru A top Peruvian anthropologist said Friday that President Clintons joke about the sex appeal of an Inca mummy was "tacky" and criticized the display of the mummy in Washington.
Clinton joked during a political fund-raiser Wednesday that the 500-year-old frozen mummy, known as the Ice Princess, was "good-looking" and if he were single he might ask her out. "That mummy looks better than I do on my worst days," he said.
Anthropologist Sonia Guillen said, "Obviously, theres a lack of respect" in Clintons remarks.
"Maybe it would have been better if a man as public as Clinton had not handled the thing in such a tacky manner, so crudely," Guillen said.

Its even worst than I thought! Didnt know this part about it until just now...
The mummy is believed to be the best-preserved body from the pre-Columbian era. Also called Juanita by Peruvian scientists, the 12- to 14-year-old girl apparently was killed by a powerful blow to the head 500 years ago and sacrificed to the gods atop 20,000-foot-high Mt. Ampato.

Thanks SteveH. There have been a few topics about this, let's hope there's something in these newly detected chambers -- although I very much doubt that Nefertiti's remains will be found in either of them. I would LOVE to be dead wrong of course. Nicholas Reeves seems to have an obsession about finding Nefertiti, and is at least a legit Egyptologist. A gold scarab with Nefertiti's name was found on the Ulu Burun wreck, which may mean her tomb, wherever it was, got plundered in antiquity; my wild guess is, there was a cache of queens (like the cache of pharaohs) made up of recovered remains from plundered tombs, but that the queen cache was discovered in modern times by robbers. Regardless, objects apparently from Nefertiti's burial showed up in the market in Cairo back in the 19th century, and those could not have come from a sealed room behind Tut.
