Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Calpernia this isn’t really a reply to you on a particular point but I just wanted to connect it to someone so it’s for anyone who might find it useable.
I was thinking about the possibility of a Kenyan birth certificate so I tried to find out where in Kenya this would be found. I came across this book:
It gives this address: Principal Civil Registar, P.O. Box 30031, Nairobi, Kenya Tel: (011)(254)(2)7461
It also says that “Kenya is divided into districts and it is in the District Registry where the original birth and death certificates are kept. Duplicates are sent to the Central Registry. Cost of a birth certificate is Ksh 10.00.
Obama Sr.’s town is the Kisii District and the capital is Kisii Town.
It also says “The Family History Library of Salt Lake City, Utah has microfilmed records of Kenya and africa. For further details on their holdings please consult your nearest family History Center.”
On the same page as this information ther is a link to a site Birth.GovtRegistry.com. I tried it and put in the name Barry Dunham with Obama’s birthdate and the state of HI and they came back with one match. However this is a site you have to pay for so I couldn’t find out what they had.
I have no idea if any of this can help anyone with the quest or not but I thought I’d share it just in case someone can do something with it.
Maybe that's why they don't want you to see his birth certificate. Maybe it also lists Barry Dunham as "Caucasian," and we couldn't have that.
I doubt that the citizenship issue is what that don't want you to see. They are trying to hide something else, like Obama's not really "black." That could be devastating to his campaign.
I believe if he is of record in Kenya, it will be under the name Obama, not Dunham.
I assume someone here has access to The Family History Library of Salt Lake City, Utah; I further assume it is a Mormon facility.
My Mormon access is not available at the present; I will continue to call him.
Also, if anyone manages to pursue this, look for a marriage certification record of Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack H. Obama.
BTT.

Is anyone researching the name change? Any formal application would probably have had to be published in a newspaper of record, with the court case number. It would be interesting to see the application. It would probably state birth place (which could still be in question), date, parents, and reason for the change.
I would guess that his name changes would have been informal and for convenience.
We now have two birthdays for sister Maya, two hospitals where obama was born...and all we know about marriages, divorce and adoption are from the same source - obama's books.
I'm reminded that arab muslims can rid themselves of an unwanted wife by declaring three time 'I divorce thee' - perhaps the same applies to marriage and adoption. 'I adopt three' three times - 'I marry thee' three times, LOL!
One thing is quite clear. Whilst we assume muslims follow the same rules and regulations we do, fill in the same forms etc, we are only showing how little we know about islam. To follow our rules is against their 'religion' - our laws are infidel laws.
The only time a muslim follows 'infidel' rules is when there's a benefit, and come to think of it, any forged document will do for that.

Atlas Shrugs Blog Redirect
# AJStrataon 21 Jul 2008 at 11:04 amWhat an imagination the man has! Could it be he was banned for other reasons? Like spamming and constant hectoring, which he imagines to be witty fisking?Dale. booted from Pams and Texasdarlings sites for asking for their technical credentials to discern who had the background to decide whether I or Techdude had the better case.
I don't know the reasons he was banned, but that would be my guess as to why.
Why is so many major blogs have hung their own hats on AJ's hook in this matter? Why are they ignoring the intimidation and harassment of techdude? Are they cowards? That is what I read. They can write and talk about the new movie "The Dark Knight", but the real thing -- they ignore or deride.
Cognitive dissonance or willful ignorance?
Perhaps they just feel its too big to touch.
Either way, the forgery has been proven by a genuine expert.
btt
AJ Strata is busy waiting for someone to create another forgery that mimics Obama’s so he can lay claim to his ‘theory’ that Obama must have received a “prototype” COLB from Hawaii and maybe someone else did too.
(Still laughing at that thought process a week later)
lehigh389 // July 22, 2008 at 1:12 amWhat was the timing of of the CoLB release versus when Obama announced he was not taking the FEC matching funds? Here is something to think about if it has not been discussed earlier. (I have read all the comments in the various posts so please excuse me if this duplicates another post.) Under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, the FEC must certify that to the Treasury Dept. that a candidate meets the statutory eligibility requirements to receive matching funds. The matching funds opt-out by Obama means the FEC will not have to do this.
KOS posted the COLB June 12.
I found this on Israel Insider, an article 'Obama campaign claims suspect "birth certificate" as genuine item' By Reuven Koret dated June 21, 2008.
Can anyone help with the date that Team Obama-rama made their someday historically infamous "Modified Limited Hangout" and posted a fake Certificate of Live Birth?
Looks like it was between 11 and 20 June.
Would Sherlock Holmes call this a five pipe problem?
