On John Edwards as Candidate (Great Read!) I'm an ex-Dem, and I now look at presidential candidates chiefly on how they would defend the country. The Dems don't seem to have a clue that we are in a war. They're so power-hungry and/or ignorant that they want to fight domestic battles that already have been won.

Kerry and Edwards Accuse Bush of Dishonesty |
I just can't wait till they drag out all those strays and losers at their convention, who represent the "real values" of America. In order to cater to every liberal interest group the last DNC convention looked like an absolute circus. |

What's up with all this John-John touchy-feely? This JOHN-JOHN thing is by far the FUNNIEST thing I've seen in a Presidential campaign, and EVERYONE has noticed it-- This is just too weird for words. As I said before, we won't have to worry about the WH interns should God forbid these two actually win. They will have each other.

Two 'Metro' guys (Kerry & Edwards) The Bush campaign has been yearning for a "Dukakis in a tank" photo opportunity; funny that the Tom-Tom Club has so readily provided it so early in the campaign.
"Ambiguously Gay Duo."

ROFOL!
We could hire Edwards own firm, "Cheatum, Fleeceum and Run, LLC" to do the dirty work!
Sorta like Milo Minderbunder did in "Catch 22" when he took a contract FRom the Germans to have his own air group bomb their own air base?

Maybe you could have tied him up in those chains and left him for the gators and mocassins--except that he'd probably get professional courtesy...

Maybe you could have tied him up in those chains and left him for the gators and mocassins--except that he'd probably get professional courtesy...Ow! Then there's always the chance that if a cottonmouth bit him, it would die of poison.
Edwards is dangerous- don't forget the Soccer Mom vote that helped Clinton slither into office, and helped him stay despite all the criminality and corruption. They are still out there, and there is a big contingent that votes on "how good he looks on TV."
Then there's a related, allied group who longs for the ( phony ) prosperity and security on the ninetenn-ninties, and magically thinks that if they get a clinton-clone in office, the bubble will return once again and "all manner O' tings in the Land will be Well, once again."
