I checked the Filegate list of names. There were a couple of 'Foleys,' but not a 'Mark.'

My point about Filegate is this: It shows a pattern of dysfunctional and criminal behavior consistent with the Foley hit.

If we lose the House next month, we'll have to have a lame-duck session before Christmas, to pass an omnibus appropriation for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. It'll have to be a jumbo, big enough to carry President Bush until after the 2008 election.

But in order to comply with the Constitution, the appropriation couldn't be for any longer than two years. We'd have to issue our troops two years' worth of ammunition, rations, and fuel, to outlast the 'Rats.

Connecticut Representative Rosa DeLauro describes Emanuel as a "reflection of Chicago politics, ward politics. It's local, ethnic. You're not in a tea party." Given the silence from the West Wing, Mrs. Broaddrick this week sought answers from Hillary Clinton, whose telescopic feminism apparently sees injustice to women everywhere except the kind which occurs closer to home.

In a letter to Mrs. Clinton recalling their meeting shortly after the reported assault occurred, she wondered about the significance of Mrs. Clinton's words to her at that time. Thank you, Mrs. Broaddrick says Mrs. Clinton told her, for "everything you do for Bill."

"What did you mean, Hillary?" her letter continued. "Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to keep quiet?"

The not-so-subtle implication of the letter is that Mrs. Clinton is, in fact, her husband's enabler. Dealing with her husband's promiscuity and worse might keep her from dealing with the important issues facing the people of New York, namely her candidacy. One might call it a Faustian bargain except that even Mephistopheles might not lower himself to sign such a deal....

I had made up my mind to make an appearance and then leave as soon as the two of you arrived. This was a big mistake, but I was still in a state of shock and denial. You had questioned the gentleman who drove you and Mr. Clinton from the airport. You asked him about me and if I would be at the gathering. Do you remember? You told the driver, "Bill has talked so much about Juanita", and that you were so anxious to meet me. Well, you wasted no time. As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying "we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill". At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, "Everything you do for Bill". You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

Yes, I can answer Brit Hume's question. You are the same Hillary that you were twenty years ago. You are cold, calculating and self-serving. So, Emanuel was hired by Bruce Wasserstein, a man who has contributed over $200,000 to the Democratic Party since 1990 (see campaign disclosure information here, here, here, and here), and subsequently made about $18 million in less than three years while working for Wasserstein's firm.

They took care of their boy. It is so Chicago. ²⁶

WHAT TO DO?

Should Rahm Emanuel and hillary clinton, therefore, resign?
Should they be voted out of office?
Have they committed any criminal acts?
What exactly are the Soros ²⁰ and Simon & Schuster ²¹ connections, anyway? (And are they criminal?)
And isn't the War on Terror and the clinton-Democrat utter failure to confront terrorism ²⁷ the only issue that matters in the end?

Rahm Emanuel and the clintons are attempting, as is their wont, to exploit sex to distract the voter. (A case can be made that sex-as-decoy was the clintons' salvation in 1998.)

Voters across America, as well as voters in New York and Illinois, must focus on the crucial issue of our time, the War on Terror. They must not fall prey to ruthless and dangerous demagogues.

he timing of the Foley revelations is a bit odd. If the intended beneficiary of the political dirty trick was the Democrats, surely the perpetrators would have sprung it closer to Election Day. A month is an eternity in politics (irrespective of the fact that it is the pundit class' favorite hedge).

If not the Democrats then who? Who benefits from the odd timing? And who has the means, the motive, the opportunity--and the m.o.-- ¹^,²to pull off this dirty trick?
WHO BENEFITS?
The clintons had been hemorrhaging ever since the first week in September when the husband, by attempting to quash the ABC movie, "The Path to 9/11," managed to accomplish in mere days what his opponents failed for years to effectuate, namely, to focus the electorate simultaneously on the clinton jackboot ³^,⁴ and on the clinton failure to confront terrorism. ⁵
If the story had legs, continued clinton stupidity and arrogance made them sprint. And as if dispatching the tired clinton scold, the tired clinton spinners and the tired clinton playbook weren't enough to keep story on page one of The New York Times above the fold, clinton brought his tired clinton shtick to FoxNews Sunday.
'KILL BILL'
What the country finally learned--fittingly on the fifth anniversary of 9/11--was that clinton didn't simply fail to kill bin Laden.
Clinton refused to kill or even capture bin Laden.

Defeating the enemy isn't sufficient. For America to prevail, she must also defeat a retrograde, misogynous mindset. To successfully prosecute the War on Terror, it is essential that the collective patriarchal islamic culture perceives America as politically and militarily strong. Condi Rice excepted, this requirement presents an insurmountable hurdle for any female presidential candidate, and especially missus clinton, historically antimilitary--(an image, incidentally, that is only enhanced today by her clumsy, termagant parody of Thatcher), forever the pitiful victim, and, according to Dick Morris, "the biggest dove in the clinton administration."
It is ironic that had the clintons not failed utterly to fight terrorism... not failed to take bin Laden from Sudan... not failed repeatedly to decapitate a nascent, still stoppable al Qaeda... the generic female president as a construct would still be viable... missus clinton's obstacles would be limited largely to standard-issue clintonisms: corruption, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, megalomania, rape and treason... and, in spite of Juanita Broaddrick, or perhaps because of her, Rod Lurie would be reduced to perversely hawking the "First Gentleman" instead of the "Commander-in-Chief."

They actually have and keep the power to wangle the laws to where they have a strangle hold on power in perpetuity.

The founders of this country had some integrity, serving very limited terms in public service and then going back to work in real life so they wouldn't be tempted to become corrupt. They proceeded to sternly advise the disallowance of career politicians who get ensconced, then corrupted into voting themselves privileges and largesse from taxation. Now, the likes of Teddy Kennedy, and others, are so ensconced in "public service" that they have never or rarely ever held a real job in their lives. Sad to say, the average voter in America is not very well educated in American history with this truth about the founding fathers pounded into their heads just as hard as a list of dates for some obscure happenings of little relevance. I know I wasn't educated all that well in public school on these matters, but experience has opened my eyes. This does not seem to be the case, especially amongst people who do not appear to have to actually live in the real world themselves.

The clinton machine was planning to spring the Foley hit closer to the election to maximize its effect and minimize the probability of mitigation by the GOP or random events.

But then "The Path to 9/11" and Chris Wallace started the clinton 9/11 malpractice and malfeasance story... and clinton's stupid actions and reactions to each only caused the story to grow. Exponentially.

THIS THREATENED TO SHATTER NOT ONLY HILLARY'S ELECTORAL HOPES, BUT ALSO CLINTON'S 'LEGACY' (even if it is in his own mind only).

Panic gripped the clinton camp. The clintons decided to release the Foley hit piece early. They had nothing else to stop the hemorrhaging and to hell with a Democrat majority.
