How to tell if you've been FReeping too long

If some, many or all of the following apply to you, you probably have been FReeping too long.

I've only so far read Carry Okie's and Travis McGee's books and I'm BEHIND on reviewing for Carry Okie at the moment... but I'll say that both are MUST HAVES. TM's choreographs tyranny so realistically that the reader can't help but make the connection between what's happening now in our nation and how it could very well lead up to the unspeakable. CO's new book will leave the reader at a "moral impasse" where they are FORCED to make a decision. Or live with a newfound knowledge and fear of their own inaction. I highly recommend them both.

Squantos - I don't look at weeds the same way anymore either!....or the U.S. BLM for that matter!

Yea, we generally have a rule that children are off-limits, so that’s probably why it went ‘poof’. At least you didn’t get a ‘mandatory time-out’!

I remember what some of us used to call “the night of the long knives”.

It was the night that DonMorgan and some of the self-appointed “cadre” were confronted on-thread by Jim Robinson. He said “I never asked or wanted you to do any of this” or words to that effect. Morgan turned and went off the deep end.

The cadre self destructed. It was internet drama at its best.

My county ag agent is surely going to have me declared persona non grata in his office !!

You should definitely make him feel appreciated...(and make him earn his paycheck too). Think of it this way: You're making up for all those years you never asked him a thing! :-)

The book is addictive and educational.

lmao!!! It's the Lord's way that's addictive, and deep within OUR created nature.

We're out harvesting grass seed today... by hand. It's tedious, but it's the only way to assure absolute purity and a great way to get those last few weeds that make ALL the difference next year. I'd never envisioned harvesting as a key part of the weed control process, but there it is. Y'shua made it plain with the wheat and tares; it is indeed a heck of a lot easier (only we weed along the way too).

We're getting to the point where some of the native plants of which I remember the very first to return are becoming a pain, they're so prolific. The needle grass was over five feet tall, and some of the blue wild rye made six!!!

Oh, yes. That one was one of those threads I kept refreshing until my fingers hurt. Do you realize how long ago that was? I’m gonna have to stop counting birthdays and start counting rings...

Yeah, but it’s hard to count that one. That’s a logistical nightmare kind of opus, unlike the “everybody hates me, this isn’t the FR it used to be, I’m going to go eat worms” type that we used to get.

:-)

Ever hear of or see a tickel grass infestation ?

We had to close DOWN a high security complex due the 12 ft high triple fences and entry areas were filled to the TOP of the areas after being blown in like mini tumble weeds.

Took hundreds of workers with mulching leaf vacs a few weeks to clean that mess up !!

I have early day tomorrow so am off to bed.

Stay safe CO !
