It wasn’t Sarah, she hasn’t been back here for him,

Well, at least she's washed her hands of him for a while. No more favors. But, isn't it interesting how much lying pols get away with? That's how Obama got elected.

The turnouts are interesting (Fl, CO) in that many more conservatives turned-out in uncommon numbers compared to Dems. I think many of them have given up on their party after electing a marxist muslim as President. What he's done to the party is amazing where disenchantment is concerned. November may soon be called Battle of Little Bighorn.

Look, I bent my principles to vote for him once, I will not do that again. I don't care. I really can't see what difference it will make if there is a dem or McCain. You can count on him to vote with the dems every time it's important. He only votes republican when it doesn't matter.

So, I could care less. I will leave the spot blank or write in JD.

but McCain is going to do a great deal of damage if the GOP retakes the Senate.

How much more damage can McCain do? Without McCain and his legal staff in the senate, Clair McCaskill (who was also on Obama's election team) and Pat Leahy, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, Obama wouldn't be president. Of course, Hillary probably would be. McCaskill, with her Senate Bill 2678, "to insure that children born to United States citizens while serving overeas in the military are eligible to become president" acknowledged with her bill that McCain was ineligible - you don't need a law to "insure" McCain's eligibility if he is indeed eligible. Since laws can't modify the Constitution, her bill was a "head fake." She set the stage for the coverup of Obama's patent ineligibility, because, with McCain running, Repubs. daren't say a word about Obama.

McCain has been through ten years of Congressional hearings on his eligibility, which, fair or not, were never resolved in his favor. Had McCaskill been serious, she would have tried an amendment; but the record for amendments to Article II Section 1 is 0 to 26. This was McCain's last shot. Without McCain in the race some congressman or senator would have responded to the thousands of questions about Obama's eligibility before the election. Since SB2678 was a red flag for McCain's problem, and had no legal effect, Leahy and McCaskill, in April 2008, filed a resolution, Senate Res. 511. It avoided McCains problem and stressed his positive qualifying attribute, two citizen parents. Every Senator signed that resolution, inluding Obama, who does not have two citizen parents. They all know and should all be reminded of their violation by whatever means we have. As John Marshall said, "we are a nation of laws, and not of men." Sadly, that is not currently the case.

One of those who asked was Retired Naval Commander Kerchner, whose subsequent law suit charging Congress, Cheney and Pelosi with dereliction has been in the courts for over eighteen months. Another who asked, Georgia Congressman Nathan Deal, got an answer - ethics charges. That was the warning to the legislature. Lou Dobbs was the warning to the media. McCain is Obama's enabler. Damage being done to our nation was, and still is, his to stop. He knows the law. Most people haven't had the time or interest, and/or were victims of the disinformation campaign, afraid that the Ruling Class would call them names - "Birther", or "wingnut."

As the principal author of the 14th Amendment John Bingham told us about natural born citizens, "...of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty..." McCain's parents fit that requirement and Obama's didn't. McCain happened not to have been born "...within the jurisdiction of the United States...". While I think we should amend that provision, it is our Constitution and John McCain knows it very well. He has major responsibility for millions already suffering under a man whose allegiance is to another nation and another set of principles, principles about which even Charlie Rose and Tom Brokow have no clue. Our founders and framers were prescient and we are paying for ignoring them.

Control of Congress is critical — it doesn’t matter how any one or few Republicans vote, control of Congress means control of committees and whether we can stop the Obama agenda or not.

As I said, I am no fan of McCain by any stretch of imagination and we are all disappointed that he won the primary, but if the Dems retain control of Congress, we are all sunk — just look at all the destructive legislations they enacted against the will of the American people.

Arizona knows the value of having a senator with the seniority that McCain has. They know that McCain’s connections as an ex presidential candidate bring great clout for Arizona. Why would Arizonians squander a great asset? They are not stupid.

FOX at all in 2008, wouldn’t let Sarah go on either, and now you couldn’t get him off the damn station,

My impression exactly! One night is said, "Geez, this is a fifteen minute info-mercial for Juan." I think it was with Hannity, really pathetic.

If Sarah gets in in'012, everytime John's phone rings will evoke moments of intrepidation. He'll be knocking-back TUMS by the handful.

I cannot freakin believe this!!

How can 70% of Arizonans be against illegal immigration and vote that jerk in again. Unfreakinbelievable.

this country is mostly CENTER-RIGHT.

Not really, it's just that most people don't follow politics as many do here and break at the very last moment when the election nears. Dick Morris said it better, but that's the gist of it. They're not 'center' anything, just poorly informed (thus, easily lied to).

Ah well, that’s the way it goes. I will not vote for McCain. I’d rather there be a democrat so we know we can’t count on him, rather than have McCain there leading the Maine twins and Ms Lindsey.

“Arizona knows the value of having a senator with the seniority that McCain has. They know that McCain’s connections as an ex presidential candidate bring great clout for Arizona. Why would Arizonians squander a great asset? They are not stupid.”

You could insert the name “John Kerry” into a post about Massachusetts and make the same points. McCain is a curse and a human reptile. The aged fools here who voted for him deserve every thing they get. You think having an unpredictable, often traitorous liar and scoundrel for a senator is a great asset?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but-

Do the Republicans allow Dems to vote in their primary in Arizona?

(Or is Arizona just a watered-down RINO "pink" state?)

um duh. McCain won because Hayworth is an even bigger lump of turds. Replacing McCain with some corrupt, free-spending hack who hijacked the Tea Party for his own political ends made absolutely no sense. He excited very few people here in Arizona and turned off many. His faux-outsider portrayal wasn’t fooling anyone.

Go back to radio JD, preferably a Spanish language station so I don’t have to listen to your BS.

OMG, that's the funniest thing I have ever read. Sure he has clout LOL, that's why the border was taken care of years ago and all those people who are dead because of illegals? Well, they're not really dead, and all those billions of dollars the illegals cost us. that all in our imagination.

How stupid would you have to be to believe McCain has ANY clout or knows how to use it against anyone other than conservatives?

Control of Congress is critical — it doesn’t matter how any one or few Republicans vote, control of Congress means control of committees and whether we can stop the Obama agenda or not.

William Jefferson Clinton faced a GOP Two House Majority for Six Full Years. Want to tell me what they stopped? They couldn't even stop the Liberalism of George Bush. Majority means ZILCH. Putting some fighters in office means everything. It doesn't have to be a majority by any means but it has to be enough to disrupt the status quo. All it has to be is enough standing up, speaking out, and not going along, for Gridlock which right now I would prefer over another sleeping Bipartisan GOP majority. For that Juan McAmnesty is not the man nor the answer.

It's time this nation started forgetting about the two party rule system and vote for deserving Independents instead. The GOP died in mid 1995. It's past time to let it go.

Thanks Sarah You helped put this POS back.

Sarah didn't vote in AZ, and I doubt if anyone who was already inclined to vote for JD changed their minds against him, because of Sarah's endorsement of McCain.

AZ voters decided for McCain, pure and simple.
