She must have grunted 24/7. That will often cause the male partner to become un-hinged.
Any news on the children?

Gonzalez will try to prove her theory that the bones of the Peñon Woman belong not to Native Americans, but to descendants of the Ainu people of Japan. So much for the La Raza rant about the white man "stealing my ancestoral land". Ya gotta wonder how they are going to react to the charges of "brown-skinned invaders stole Mexico from my white ancestors" charges, though. I mean, what with them being all for "historical justice",and all.I wonder how much back rent they are willing to pay?

"We're going to say to Native Americans, 'Maybe there were some people in the Americas before you, who are not related to you.' " "Native American" isn't really a term that identifes race. I'd say it's quite likely that BOTH groups of people were here at the same time. Hell, one or both could have originated here, and the while ones migrated to what is not Japan."The Americas" is one big-ass piece of real estage.

The Ainu are "Caucasian-like" but they are genetically Asian.

I guess that they assumed she was a woman because all her front teeth were knocked out...? Naw,I think it was due to the unbalanced check book foundin her possession.

Good one! Bet those activists don't like this one bit!
To: CobaltBlue
This can't be true, the bible says we've only been in existance for 6000 years.
Although Nostraepidermis predicted this way back in the days....

Barbra Streisand?
I'm with you. Look at that nose cavity! And the big jaws!
To: CobaltBlue
Has Bill Clinton seen the skull?
"That's a good-looking skull. I wouldn't mind going out with that skull."

I wouldn't worry too much about the 1990 law...a lot of scientists now believe that 'if' they happen to come upon a skull dating several thousand years...they simply are going to take it and perform all the analysis necessary...and then report the discovery to the authorities after their tests. The Indians still get their skull...but the scietists believe the law was a silly thing to put into place. It assumes that everyone you find in America is Indian and cannot possibly be European in nature. There are numerous thoughts now that some Spanish or Portuguese natives who did somehow make it over 10,000 years ago, which really disrupts all of the political strength of the current Indian migration...that they only came from Asia. Once you prove a European did make it over....the Indians began to really question their entire history.
As we discovered with Columbus and the vikings...there is always more to the story than what was originally thought. The American Indians need to start preparing themselves for that day. And it may not be that far off.

D'oh! I blame you, blam, because you didn't ping me. :)
Just updating the GGG information, not sending a general distribution. Never got pinged, but maybe the older one, linked above, did.
Please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list. Thanks. Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on, off, or alter the "Gods, Graves, Glyphs" PING list --
Archaeology/Anthropology/Ancient Cultures/Artifacts/Antiquities, etc.

Thanks CobaltBlue. Okay, the older one (Blam's) got pulled due to a copyright complaint, and soooo, I'm not too sure it was pinged. The saved versions I've seen lack both our GGG keywords and the ping message. So, I'm taking the chance. My apologies to all for whom five or so messages in a short space is too many. I'm going to bed now, so you'll be safe for a day or more.

Unbelievable that a law predecides the race of any bones that may be found. A good illustration of the practical limits of government.

Some Japanese look surprisingly European. I worked with a guy who was American born but 100% Japanese ancestry. He had black hair and I thought was from some Eastern European stock.
I guess the fact that his last name was Ishi should have been a giveaway but for some reason it wasn't. After he told me, it was obvious he was Japanese but still he could have fooled me before I knew it.
