The House on Saturday also advanced a bill (HB 1563) that would impose steep fees for certain driving violations to help generate money for road improvements. Under the proposal, the Department of Motor Vehicles would impose fees of $250 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, $350 for reckless driving and $750 for drunken driving. The fees would be paid annually for three years after the offenses. The DMV also would impose a $100 fee for Virginia drivers with four demerit points on their licenses and $75 for each additional demerit point up to seven.

This is a horrible vanity, excuse me but I thought I'd share. My first grader came home last weekend with a new project due at the end of the month. Give a report on a famous American. One of the suggested Americans to do a report on was none other then Janet Reno. LMAO!!!! They had other truly great Americans listed but that one caught my eye.

The charges stem from nearly two dozen letters she allegedly wrote, some sent to actor Michael Douglas, the husband of Zeta-Jones. One letter read: "We are going to slice her up like meat on a bone and feed her to the dogs."

Again, I share conspiratorial whispers. Lou “admits” he is a moderate Democrat. “Back home, after a lot of thought,” he says, “I put a 'Kerry for President' bumper sticker on my truck. It was weird. On the highway, people were honkin' at me and givin' me the finger. Occasionally, someone would drive by and give me thumbs up. But truthfully, I got nervous. I thought someone might pull a gun.” Lou is scared. Dissent is now undemocratic.

(Translated from Aramaic and Latin) Pontius Pilate (Hristo Shopov) stands with the scourged and thorn-crowned Jesus (James Caviezel) before a throng of Jews, all of whom shout for Christ's crucifixion. Pilate has a bowl of water brought to him so he can wash his hands' of Christ's condemnation. Assorted Jews: Crucify him! Pontius Pilate: I am innocent of the blood of this just; [knocks over bowl of water, which spills down steps] oh, [bleep]. Jesus Christ: [smiling] Good one, Hristo. Pilate: Nice crown, Jim. Assorted Jews: [laughter] Off Camera: Cut! * * * Christ, shackled to a stone, is...
  • Democrats admit ``I'd vote for the devil.''

The only thing interesting in this article is the blatant admission of a Virginia Democrat. "``Anybody but Bush,'' said Charles Edwards, 50, of Falls Church, Va., who decided to vote for Kerry as he entered the voting booth. ``I'd vote for the devil.''

A group of Hispanic illegal immigrants sued seven state colleges and universities yesterday in federal court, claiming the schools denied them admission because of their immigration status. The lawsuit, made public yesterday, says the schools' presidents and rectors are following ill-conceived legal advice from state Attorney General Jerry W. Kilgore, who last fall issued an opinion recommending that all Virginia colleges deny admission to illegal immigrants and suggesting that admissions officers report potentially illegal applicants to federal authorities. The schools are George Mason University, James Madison University, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), the Northern Virginia Community...

from: http://armedndangerous.blogspot.com/2003_08_17_armedndangerous_archive.html#106157186387886957 Mr. McBride: Late yesterday. I learned that you have charged that your company is the victim of an insidious conspiracy masterminded by IBM. You have urged the press and public to believe that the Open Source Initiative and the Free Software Foundation and Red Hat and Novell and various Linux enthusiasts are up in arms not because of beliefs or interests of their own, but because little gray men from Armonk have put them up to it. Bwahahaha! Fire up the orbital mind-control lasers! Very few things could possibly illustrate the brain-boggling disconnect between SCO and reality with...

Yesterday before the Home Depot killing my brother was complaining of the canceled football practices, games and school precautions and ended it with..."I guess when I was a kid we worried about getting nuked." This was my response: Ah the simpler times...I wonder if Washington worried about getting scalped as a youngster. Well, in my opinion this reaction of fear is panic and just plain sad. People around here still worry about the old fashioned nukes. Now they also can worry about the smaller suitcase nukes, kidnappers, bio warfare, our mail, snipers, bombs, drunk drivers, cell phone radiation, listeria, child...

ISLAMIC BELIEFS AND PRACTICES CalgoldMay 28, 2002 While researching the Qur'an (Koran) for insights into the intellectual thinking and behaviors of the Islamic people, the author of this article had numerous occasions to converse with individual Americans concerning Islamic religious beliefs. Soon, it became obvious that most Americans appeared to know very little about religions in general. Rather, they entertained awareness and knowledge about some specific Christian cult only. That knowledge was quite obviously held as Christian Biblical truth, probably imbedded on their minds during childhood and youth. Therefore, the purpose of this dissertation is to provide a thumbprint...
