I am sick and tired of this site being taken over by Catholics ( of which I am one ) stories or proverbs. This is a news site not a religion site. Go do that somewhere else. I am not opposed to your prostilazion(sp), just not here. We lose credibility if any religious group dictates or can be quoted from this site.

As a long term member of this site I regret posting this information, but the site has been buried in Catholic stuff recently and it should be shunted to some separate page.

We all occasionally make a mistake when typing in a hurry, but many people use big words that they’ve heard one time and end up with crazy spellings! Or phrases they’ve *almost” heard on the radio. It is, as they say, to laugh ...

But you can communicate, like, you know, people ;-).

Am blessed and honored you feel that way.

I do try.

I know a CHUNK of RC’s would like to see me try a LOT less! LOL.

I agree, it's overuse of the "Caucus" status that has gamed the system

After reading about a martyred saint the other day (Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life for another and was murdered in Aushwitz), I was so deeply moved that I actually seconded a prayer that was posted regarding him.

That's right, in effect, I offered a prayer.

My bad - wham, I was notified that posting was limited to Caucus members only. Though after awhile, it was grudgingly allowed that a prayer was okay. Nevertheless, it was clearly an issue that demanded immediate clarification.

I was disgusted - revolted, even. I wonder if Father Kolbe asked the Caucus affiliation of the man he exchanged his life for, before he spoke up to the Commandant of the death camp.

And this on the Religion forum, no less.

Awwwww. A waterproof mattress cover costs $24.99 at Target. And how did that kid get down there by the feet, instead of near the b**bs?

Frank was sick most of last week, and we’ve just gotten back to what passes for having a life with an overcuddled 14-month-old. I could make it to Weight Watchers tomorrow!

If you can come to the Undead Thread and follow our norms, “Everyone make nice, while you’re here!” then you’re the Good People. Sometimes I say, “O ne Zot, what’s with this?” but I figure people do that about me sometimes, too.

Wow. That's the least intelligent post I've read in some time.

Apparently you've been here 11 years and haven't figured out that this site has a News forum and a Religion forum. If you don't like to read posts in the Religion forum, then don't.

Oh, and the word is "proselytism." Maybe if you'd read the posts, instead of whining like a cranky little girl about them, you would have picked that up in the last decade.

but we all havta live within our means!

$2.97 a bottle for a perfectly adequate pink (or red, or white) wine at Walmart. I drink the pink (with Diet 7-up) and cook with the red or white.

Anoreth is a brilliant writer. She’s only 19 ... only God knows where she’s going from here.

But currently, at sea between Hawai’i and San Francisco, and then back to Seattle, from whence she’ll catch a plane to HERE and go on vacation with us over on the Atlantic coast. Then a few days at home before she’s due back at the ship. Boat. Whatever.

My choir-lady from Mexico is going to make some authentic Mexican food for us ... enchiladas en salsa verde, estilo Michoacan. Ay ay ay!

I won’t hold it against you, I try to cook with the same stuff. But don’t make me start quoting from the Pabst label, your potational habits will be crushed by the truths thus revealed!

>>Post on the Religion Forum and I’ll try not to disappoint you<<

I choose to demur at this time but maybe we’ll get another “Erasmus” thread and who knows where that may go... :)

Have a great night RM and may God keep you and yours.

In college, I got 100’s on the weekly spelling tests . . . studied hard and flunked the final. Has always been a buggaboo to me.

You’re supposed to be able to cook chicken with PBR.

I wish I liked beer - any beer - because it’s cheaper than wine.

Aha! We’re not leaving for the shore until September 4, so it will either be, or not, global-disaster-wise, before we drive off. I think we bought the hurricane insurance, too.

I pray so.

Given all the puzzle pieces on the table . . .

the most relevant ones . . .

from now through Nov sounds particularly globally hazardous to the max.

Tune into The Lord constantly please . . . and obey Him immediately. There is NO OTHER SAFETY.
