Below is maybe the best summary of this treason.
This is the most interesting thread I have been on in sometime. This is when FR shines if you ask me because everyone is adding more of the puzzle pieces--
Agreed -- it is explosive. Therefore, the media will start making excuses and hide the facts. Folks in new media will have to work really really hard to make sure this information gets out to the public, and let the facts tell the story.
Gorelick also sits on the board of directors of Schlumberger, a leading oilfield services provider with interests in Iraq... This has the feel of being the tie-in between 9-11, Iraq, the bizarre behavior of the Democrats, and the Oil For Food program. If so, it's no wonder there was such effort to hide information, as well as the opposition to Bolton's appointment...
The Washington Post and New York Times reported in March and April that the five documents stolen by Sandy the Burglar were different versions of Richard Clarke's classified millennium "after action review" from early 2000. He also took the handwritten notes he made in the National Archive about the after action review. Gorelick was deeply compromised by a conflict of interest obvious to the dumbest taxi driver...

But it does involve the FBI and the Defense Department. Ed Morrissey, Jim Geraghty and other bloggers have some thoughts on what Geraghty says could be "one of the biggest stories to come down the pike in a while". Geraghty's post is a great way to get up to speed quickly on the topic.
The Farce That Was the 911 Commission
Lehman: 9/11 Commission Eyeing Secret Clinton Video
9/11 Report Missed Key Facts; 'Huge Deal,' Lawmaker Says -- Well, that just stinks to high heaven! Sounds like we need to clean out the Senate of all the boneheads who enacted the laws (and reaffirmed them year after year by doing nothing) that allowed such a disconnect to occur. This has happened over years and years of neglect and politics.
I don't know why I've been in quite a foul mood of late, but it gets worse and worse each time I drive by a gas station and see the price of gas going up, up, up! I think about how there are folks out there who could barely afford gas when it was $1.50/gallon, and now it's a dollar more/gallon. Who controls the price of oil? (I know this has nothing to do with the Gorelick Wall, but I'm just fed up!) This Gorelick Wall stuff fuels my foul mood.

When Gorelick took office in 1994, the CIA was reeling from the news that a Russian spy had been found in CIA ranks, and Congress was hungry for a quick fix. A month after Gorelick was sworn in, Bill Clinton issued Presidential Decision Directive 24. PDD 24 put intelligence gathering under the direct control of the presidents National Security Council, and ultimately the White House, through a four-level, top-down chain of command set up to govern (that is, stifle) intelligence sharing and cooperation between intelligence agencies. From the moment the directive was implemented, intelligence sharing became a bureaucratic nightmare that required negotiating a befuddling bureaucracy that stopped directly at the Presidents office.

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper Al-Nasiriya carried a column headlined, American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin. (July 21, 2001)
In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.
The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden will strike America on the arm that is already hurting, and that the US will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, New York, New York.

What else didn't make it into the 911 report? This, for one thing:
Iraq Pre-War Intelligence Report: Additional Views of Chairman Pat Roberts joined by Senator Christopher S. Bond, Senator Orrin G. Hatch
[VANITY] Help find the Jan 10th edition of New York Magazine cover (Able Danger coverup)
The Gunny Is Starting To Freak Out -- On April 19, 2004, I published a column on Men's News Daily saying the 9-11 Commission would fail for a multitude of reasons, one of which was a blatant conflict of interest regarding commission member and rabid Clintonista Jamie Gorelick
9/11 Commission Transcript: U. S. Attorney General John Ashcroft - Wednesday, April 14, 2004
U.S. knew of al Qaeda cell before 9/11 -- Able Danger, identified a terrorist cell based in Brooklyn, NY
WELDON'S SPECIAL ORDER ON "ABLE DANGER" ~~ The truth behind Sept 11, 2001..... -- I love the liberal bumper sticker that says, "when clinton lied no one died". I just say to them-- oh, what about the 3000+ on 9/11 now I can really rub it in.. More of the BJs legacy.
'POST-IT' BLUNDER -- Wasn't it Jamie Gorelick that implemented the policy that intellegence can't tell the FBI about stuff? And wasn't this just about the time that Charlie Tree was funneling money into the Clinton coffers?
Four in 9/11 Plot Are Called Tied to Qaeda in '00 -- This article is MUST reading. There is a ton of highly classified stuff in this report, which I think cuts closer to reality than most "for public consumption" stuff the sheeple are fed. Particulary note the importance of "data mining"--
Today's New York Times reveals that military intelligence had identified the
core of the 9/11 cell more than a year before the attacks that killed 3,000 people.

The Mother Lode:
Quick - google Dietrich Snell. Explains a lot about AttaGate. -- Holy crap. This is Buckhead stuff. Look at this:
Abdul Hakim Murad, a conspirator in the 1995 Bojinka plot with Ramzi Yousef, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and others, was convicted in 1996 of his role in the Bojinka plot (see January 6, 1995). He is about to be sentenced for that crime.
9/11 Y2K; the 9/11 attack that happened BEFORE 2001 (Free Republic Exclusive) ...
Two years ago, federal prosecutors turned down a cooperation offer from a terrorist who claimed he was part of a well-financed 1995 plot to crash an airplane into the CIA headquarters.
Investigator: Bin Laden Approved Plot Two Years Before 9/11
"The Feds made a big deal out of grabbing the overweight, bug eyed KSM in March of 2003 in Pakistan, but by my reckoning they had blown at least two chances to grab him earlier before all those people died on 9/11 -- once in 1995 the day Yousef was caught and later in 1996 when the Feds learned KSM was in Doha, Qatar, and cooled their heels waiting while a Qatari official spirited him out of the country to the Czech Republic."

I suspect that our nation may already be socialist and the comman man will be the last to know it. Good point. Gorelick's law firm is the new economic equivalent of the Soviet Worker's Party, they just operate in a partial free market so the income they control and redistribute is significantly greater than what is available in China or Russia.
One attorney goes to a civil trial, one goes to the hearings in Congress and one heads over to the Democratic Party offices with checks from China.

Able Danger Revisited--The latest and longest are from the most recent hope conference in New York found

I will warn that the man's politics are from the other side of the isle; but, his expertise is amazing and the talks are well worth listening to if this sort of thing interests you. This is a long session and is in 5 parts. 7 posted on 02/16/2006 7:05:31 AM EST by Havoc

First of all if you have not been following the Able Danger saga please go right now and read Lt Col Tony Shaffer's testimony to the House Armed Services Committee. In that document you will find a clear and concise explanation of just exactly how screwed up our Government is when confronted by its own errors. You will find a story about how we had the 9/11 Hijackers dead to rights, long before 9/11. You will know that this cuts right across partisan lines and truly is a story that both sides can find both comfort and alarm to think about late at night.

http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/Able Providence Background
Earlier today, I wrote about the funding of a new program the promises to use the "engine" of Able Danger to develop leads on potential terror cells, both here and abroad. The new program, Able Providence, wants to produce data as a shared resource...the intelligence-community magazine Government Community News (GCN) wrote a little-noted article about the Able Providence proposal last October: More to come ... in the meantime, be sure to keep up with Mike Kasper's Able Danger coverage, including more information on Able Providence. Mike also has a good post on Sandy Berger's fundraising for Curt Weldon's opponent in Pennsylvania. Comments (5)

Able Danger Documents Discovered?
The Able Danger blog has news from a FOIA request filed by Scott Malone of NavySeals.com and Christopher Law of PublicEdCenter.org that has produced an interesting response from the Pentagon. When they demanded the release of all information regarding the Able Danger project, the DoD rejected the request after a bit of bureaucratic misdirection. However, they acknowledged the existence of over 9500 pages of documentation -- apparently the same paperwork that they told Congress no longer existed: The assertion that 9500 pages of evidence still exists at the Pentagon will no doubt surprise members of Congress that received little from their investigations into the program. Hopefully this will pique their curiosity once more. Be sure to read all of the links at the Able Danger blog.
