During that visit to San Francisco, Ratzinger also gave a speech on the very theme he used to begin the papal conclave -- the secularist dictatorship that arises when God is no longer the measure of all things and man's ego becomes the measure of morality and culture.
Homosexual Advocacy Group Criticizes New Pope -- "What these gay guys don't like is the RCC ordering the politicians among them to toe the line or else get off the train."
They also don't like parents and churches teaching that
homosexual activity is anything other than wonderful, which is one reason they're so intent on gaining access to propagandize young children.
College taught her not to be a heterosexual --
What she confessed to sure blows the gay activists' argument out of the water. She says homosexuality is not a condition you are born with, but rather, it's something people are conditioned to.
Benedict Showed 2 Sides After Pope's Death ~~ not all are Happy with the new Pope. -- Pope Benedict will be pro active and say and do the hard things necessary to bring the focus of the Catholic church back to the spiritual realm which is the reason it exists. The humanist American Catholics have had their way for over 40 years and have brought shame and disgust upon the clergy and distrust upon the church in general.

The usual inelegant grab of links... but to judge from the howls of the usual suspects on the Left, this Pope is a good choice. God bless him.

Here's a major surprise....."Homosexual Advocacy Group Criticizes New Pope"
"Religious leaders like Ratzinger cannot dictate to us what our family values must be, particularly when their idea of family values excludes all GLBT people and loved ones," said PFLAG's Executive Director Jody Huckaby, a homosexual former Catholic, in a statement."
On the contrary, HE CAN DICTATE WHAT FAMILY VALUES ARE, since they are spelled out explicitly in many places in the Bible. I believe the 5th Commandments states "Thou shalt honor thy Mother and Father" Nowhere does it state "Thou shalt honor thy Mother and Mother" or "Thou shalt honor thy Father and Father."
This is precisely what Pope Benedict refers to as "Moral Relativism". The "homosexual former Catholic" says it all.
I will admit to knowing essentially nothing about Cardinal Ratzinger, apart from the fact that he was Pope John Paul's close friend and personal assistant and was initally very concerned when a European (and from Germany especially since it has become a very secular country) was selected to be the next Pope. I breathed a hugh sigh of relief when I learned that he was at least, if not more, conservative than Pope John Paul II.

Maybe The Onion will run the headline: Is the new Pope a neoconservative Nazi?
