Reminds of the days when the news of any death, no matter where and no matter what the cause, was greeted on FR with the phrase “Arkancide?”

The equivalent of that now is that any act of violence, no matter what or where, is immediately greeted with "Must be Amish" (or similar), before any facts about the perpetrators come out and even when there is countervailing evidence.

I agree. That’s the main thing that annoys the heck out of me. It’s ridiculous we can’t edit, at least within the first 5-10 minutes of the post. Seems it would save the mods from having a lot of cleanup.
