Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!
There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.
The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.
The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.
The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.
Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.

Here’s some ideas - feel free to amend as necessary...
Next step is to overwhelm the system. Bog the government down to a crawl. Minimize their income, and maximize their expenses.
Keep your taxes low, even if it means reducing your own revenues.
Maximize their expenses by taking advantage of every government program available, regardless of how trivial it is. Overwhelm the system with requests for information. Take your parking tickets and other minor offenses to court to bog them down. Everything you do, think about how it can be done to cost the government. Especially the federal government.
Hire and do business with ONLY conservatives (to the greatest extent possible). Fire, lay off, or reduce the working hours of known liberals. Not necessarily those that voted for Obama, but certainly those that did so with pride, and continue to carry the hard-left views.
Steer your buying away from businesses that have headquarters or major operations in “blue” zones – areas with Democrat representatives and Senators. Buy, instead, from those that operate in areas of the country that are decidedly more conservative.
Live small - don’t buy luxury items or things that you do not need.
Think like a union thug - it’d be a shame, for example, if that shipment of food that you’re delivering to the big blue city grocery store were to spoil due to a flat tire on your truck or a defective refrigerator. (There’s certainly more thuggery that I can think of, but I’ll leave that up to the individual).
Choose your customers to the greatest extent possible. You can’t kick someone out of your store for being a leftist, but you can certainly give them poor service and lousy product.
Get your kids on the free school lunch program if eligible, even if it seems unethical.
Buy lots of ammo today. Practice your marksmanship, and keep the necessary weapons on hand and ready.
Keep your assets as liquid as possible, and find alternative investments that can hedge against inflation and yet can be spend or traded. Consider off shore where, hopefully, the government cannot confiscate.
Seek and document who is on your side and who is not. Know your neighbors well. keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Join the tea party movement - even though you may think that carrying signs is useless, finding like-minded people and networking with them is NOT.
Get involved in your local government. Voice your opinion to them.
Get the facts out in the public. Write letters to the editor. Cite aspects of the health care bill, bailout bill, cap and trade bill, anything that congress does. Most people are totally uninformed - even Fox News will not tear into the wording of the health care bill, except for a couple of folks.
Develop alternate means of communication outside of the internet (which is monitored) and cell phones.
Nothing wrong with focusing on the next election except that by the time 2010 elections come about, this country could well be finished as a constitutional republic.
Confront the commies - silence their voices by hitting them with facts.
DO NOT give to rogue charity groups such as the United Way or Consolidated Federal Campaign - you have no idea where your money is going. Donate instead, if you wish, to causes in which you believe. The Church. The NRA (check for tax deductibility). Watch for groups that have pretty names but rogue missions.
Do not donate to the Alma Mater – if your college of choice has turned from an institute of higher learning to a liberal indoctrination center (as many have), stop donating to that school. Donate, instead to conservative colleges such as Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Start receiving propaganda from leftist groups such as the ACLU and DNC so that you can learn what they are planning (keep your enemies closer). Whenever they send a ‘postage-paid’ return envelope, return it (empty, of course, and with no return address). They have to pay the postage.
Do not give to charities that offer a free ride to liberals. No use giving them free stuff when they’re already getting it through the government, courtesy of YOUR tax dollars.
Don’t buy American if the company is union.
Don’t stop demonstrating, and don’t stop writing to the reps in Washington.
Consider organizing a major demonstration that actually shuts down a city. There would be nothing more beautiful than 5 million citizens spending a week in Washington clogging it up to the point that nobody could enter or leave the city easily. Blocking access to the rail system, blocking roads, etc. would be essential.

The way collapsed and failed economies and states like Zimbabwe or any other thugocracy keep going is that there is always enough...for the dictator. I don’t know. The thing I find disturbing about Obama voters is not that they voted for Marxism (they didn’t, and most of them don’t even know what the word means), but they voted for The One. That’s how dictators like that always get in power, although adherence to Marxism may be one of the ways they enlist the support of the academy and the media elites. But really, for Obama - or any thug dictator - it’s all about him.
I think it's a real possibility, but that said, I'm not afraid of it. I think it would be highly unpleasant (to put it mildly) and certainly a major destabilizing factor, but it would just be one aspect of the strategy.

Good point, however, the USA is not a poor agricultural African nation with a large illiterate population, quite the opposite, the people who count in this country, the patriot faction, are intelligent, educated, armed and many are veterans who know how to break things and kill people.
Furthermore, and most importantly in my never humble opinion, American patriots are a revolutionary people who twice in our short history as nation fought bitter civil wars against tyranny.
Thus I predict the end of this struggle will be the game ender for American socialism - The patriots will only be pushed so far and there will be a “Lexington Moment” and fire shall burn out the heart of evil.

Layoffs, raise-freezes, dropping benefits, lowering salaries and/or hours worked, hiring freezes, closing companies. Many, many, many workers will unwillingly not be making enough to keep the pocketbooks in Washington full.

Given this one-two punch of declining tax revenues and exploding service costs, the federal government will have no other recourse but to issue more debt. Who will purchase this debt? No one! The Fed Reserve is already radically inflating the money supply to purchase Treasuries, toxic MBS and agency debt.
This sucker is going down. It's already happening, but 2010 is going to be the year it finally rolls over & goes tits-up. The PTB spent/committed something like $12 trillion to just (barely) hold on - there's no more reserve. When the commercial real estate bubble starts to unravel after Xmas, this is going to knock down all remaining support.
The only option will be to print. Once they do that, the state's will move into issuing their own script. This is the end game of de-federalization. It is happening before our very own eyes! Live and remember these times.

I hope I am completely wrong about this. However, this past year I've read one thread after another here on FR that made me think, wow they are really crossing the line and the next day another news story gets posted that is even more outrageous. I don't put anything past the Dems anymore.
Only they know because it’s a safe bet the public is being kept in the dark.
Retaking congress alone will accomplish none of that since der Fuehrer will refuse to sign any bills turning around his power grab.
Retaking congress would enable the cutting off of funds for the parts of the government entities running his Nazi programs.

the Government will declare an end to the “old broken” capitalist system and simply start all over under a complete government system. All corporations and all people will work for the government. It will become a National Socialism. the national debt will be declared void. They will print new currency and back it with all the added valued assets of the corporations they seize, all the property that we once held in private hands will become the property of the collective national treasury. We will no longer own our land. We will pay the government to use it and produce from it.
They will monitor everyone and everything. The Soviets did this as did the Maoist Chinese. Of course it will not work, but it will be tried again.
This explains why they are knowingly and willingly tearing down the free enterprise system, as well as, demonizing the Capitalist system. This clearly explains why all these Czars in the White House and the President's cabinet are made up entirely of this kind of Marxist/Communist/Socialist. They plan on combining all 3 forms of government.
All I can say is, I DO hope that the system will crash much sooner than they can get a permanent foothold on their above described agenda. But we have very little time to stop them. We are close to losing it permanently.
