Mar 18, 2006 In a back row of a packed auditorium, seventh-grader Matt Frysinger and his two friends each sat with a skateboard positioned vertically between their knees and the floor. The boys had been skating in the area when they saw a sign promoting a "Creation Seminar" outside Dover Area High School.

Creationists keep saying that, but never have the courage to sort them into the two categories. Yeah, kinda hard to make assumptions based on... oh NOTHING.

Ah yes, Kent Hovind. Proof positive that you really can fool some of the people all of the time, no matter how much of a blatant fraud you are.

I'm still waiting for the evos to provide evidence for Spontaneous Generation. I could swear we learned it was false in our fourth grade science class. It would seem they want us to go back to the middle ages.

This is a problem for creationists. Here is your rebuttal.
ROTFL. Not a single one of that impressive looking collection is a proven transitional fossil. Not one. How do I know this? Because there ARE NO PROVEN TRANSITIONAL FOSSILS that show an ape-to-man transition.
There aren't any because there aren't any and if anyone thinks they have found some they're nuts because there aren't any. And the proof of what I say is that there aren't any.
BTW, in Darwin's day there were no fossils linking land animals to whales. Now there are. There were no fossils linking birds and dinosaurs. Well, not when he FIRST published. Within a few years, but still in his lifetime, there was one. Now there are plenty. Now we have fossils linking fish and amphibians, reptiles and mammals, land animals and sirenians.
So Darwin, if he was a charlatan, was the luckiest charlatan ever to live, having lucked into all those successful predictions despite having a wrong theory. Conversely, the scoffers who in his day kept asking for the "missing link" were the unluckiest right people in history, if they were right.
But Occam's Razor would say Darwin "looks" right because he was right, and the "Where are the missing link?" doofusses look wrong because they were wrong. The scoffers of today have even less excuse, as all the contrary data in the world now exists and still they hang in there, dumb as a stump. As for why anyone would do that, two words: "religious horror."

Yeah, kinda hard to make assumptions based on... oh NOTHING. Creationists have the same access to information that evolutionary anthropologists have. Why can't they clearly delineate which fossils are apes and which are human? Answer: there is no such boundary, because apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor.
I'm still waiting for the evos to provide evidence for Spontaneous Generation.
Evolutionary biologists don't believe in sudden, spontaneous generation of life from non-life. Only creationists believe this. And you're correct, they have been proven wrong.

Maybe they don't because it has nothing to do with the Theory of Evolution?

"I'm still waiting for the evos to provide evidence for Spontaneous Generation."
Why? It's not part of any scientific theory today. Abiogenesis is not spontaneous generation. And the origins of life are outside of the ToE.

It's a good "junk" companion piece to Environmentally Correct teaching of global warming.
It amazes me how the liberal and DU trolls slither into FR when their most precious and indefensible "theories" are decimated here by articulate and passionate people of faith.

You'd do well to remember that those of us who are "fanatical" also generated the millions of votes that kept AlGore and Mssr. Kerry out of the White House. The bill for our service is due -- we expect payment in the form of a Supreme Court majority that will toss Darwin out of the schools and put an end to the daily holocaust at the nation's abortuaries.
