Dar Al-Hijrah Hosts Fundraiser For “Virginia Jihad” Cell Member; U.S. Muslim Brotherhood Leader Featured Speaker

(This Islamic Center in Falls Church, VA is a well-known hub for Jihadis both here in the US as well as those from abroad. Spiritual home of the Fort Hood shooter and his "Spiritual Advisor, Anwar al-Awlaki, now head of Al Qaeda in Yemen.)

Dar Al-Hijrah is tightly tied to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. According to the Dar Al-Hijra web site, four of the nine board members must include the current Secretary General of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the current President of Muslim Arab Youth Association (MAYA), the current General Manager of North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) , and the current President of Muslim American Society (MAS). (Both MAYA and NAIT are components of ISNA.) In 2004, the Washington Post reported on the ties between Dar Al-Hijra and the MAS, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood group close to the Egyptian organization. Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical imam with whom the Fort Hood shooter had been in contact, had been Imam of Dar Al-Hijrah to prior to 911 and in July 2005 Shaker Elsayed, the former secretary-general of the MAS was appointed as the Dar Al Hijrah imam. The former imam left to become the executive director of the Fiqh Council of North America, affiliated with ISNA.

(Other)Individuals convicted/indicted in terrorism-related cases that have been known to have attended Dar Al-Hijrah include:
Abdurrahman Alamoudi, (convicted in plot assassinate Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia)
Mousa Abu Marzook (indicted Hamas political leader)
Ismail Elbarasse (convicted of obstruction of justice in Hamas financing case)
Abdelhaleem Ashqar (convicted of obstruction of justice in Hamas financing case)
Randall “Ismail” Royer (convicted member of the Virginia Jihad Network)
Ahmed Omar Abu Ali (al-Qaida operative convicted of plotting to assassinate President Bush)
Two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Hani Hanjour were also known to have attended Dar Al-Hijrah.

Brought this here cause you guys are so busy....

God in Heaven.......Oh how hearts hang low as the impact of this legislation has passed...and we see once again... Life is like this....things come to our life in order to pass, and the sting of this day too will pass. May it do so quickly and not linger to long on our hearts.
Still,... it is hard to feel this great lose Lord, where so many stood tall and proud... to be in the battle for righteousness, and freedom, and that which our great nation has known and loved. But... here we are in what is seemingly at lose to know what we can now do....the train has left the station and is traveling toward high speed as this administration moves their agenda of evil further down the track they are on. This is where we are.

Our courts and the laws of this land are not working Lord....because the power and strength of those laws, which is in you,... has been ignored, slandered, and driven from the halls of our Government where they are instituted. We clearly see this now, and without question. And for this we realize also the enemy of men’s souls now fills those halls.

Lord, we’ve been blinded by our own selfish ways for along time, we’ve even closed our eyes to the truth when it’s been obvious, we have remained in our areas of comfort while our nation was, and is now, being set on fire. It is not you who has failed us in this battle we fought....it is us.......

How do we find a place of forgiveness for our stubborn and self hearted ways before you?.... How do we who are now lay ed bare from the smoke and fire fought, recover the years the locusts have eaten of our country and continue to swarm?.... How do we now remove the stronghold in Washington that is expanding it’s tentacles thru every branch of our Government?..... Our voice is not heard, are actions proved not enough?... The questions arise Lord.....but we do believe and know that all the answers are in you.

Help us to find that which will restore Your rightful place in our homes, and our country, and the halls of our Government...show us the way Lord. ...and once more see us thru the face of your son Jesus that we might carry out Your plans ahead....and in due time heal the wounds of hearts and souls from these past weeks of labor... for those in Washington who fought their best..and those who will fight again in the days ahead.

I’m done signing petitions Piper...they carry no weight...I am beginning my own plans to survive what’s coming....and I will be extremely careful where my vote goes.

This bill has changed the equation of how I view life now Piper...I will see to my own personal needs at this time...and that of my family....we are meeting in the weeks ahead to discuss how this affects us all. It’s not just the bill...rather all which this bill will eventually play out throughout all the financial markets.

An online game that lets you bomb victims of the Haiti earthquake. A Facebook group that compares gays to rats and vermin. An eBay auction selling rings supposedly taken from concentration camp prisoners during the Holocaust. These are just a few of the Web sites and pages uncovered in the latest study of hate and terrorism on the Internet by the Simon Wiesenthal Center. The report "Digital Terrorism and Hate 2010," released last week, highlights a growing number of Web sites and social networks used by people propagating hateful, racist, or terrorist ideas and activities. In combing through the Web, the center uncovered about 11,500 different sites, networks, and forums that it categorized as hateful or terrorist--20 percent more than found in last year's study.

Speaking at the American Chemical Society meeting in San Francisco, chemist Graham Jones said that prior to the 1940s, all the carbon-14 in the Earth’s biosphere was produced by cosmic rays and nitrogen in the upper atmosphere. However, from the late 1940s to 1963, atomic bomb tests released radioactive material and significantly increased the amount of carbon-14 in the atmosphere. Ever since the atomic tests stopped in ‘63, this “bomb-pulse” C-14 has been gradually diluted by the CO2 formed by the burning of fossil fuels.

Something that sounds like it should be out of a James bond movie is a real crime happening in our area. For the first time police here are seeing cell phones used to spy on their owners. When you're not looking, someone takes your phone, puts in a few codes, and suddenly they have access to everything you say, you're GPS location, and they can even use built in cameras to watch you.

This crime is most common among domestic violence cases. One partner will use the phone to keep tabs on the other as a way of control.

Several experts today all said the chances of your phone being tapped are extremely low. But here's the two most common warning signs -- if you're battery suddenly starts dying a lot quicker than it used to and if your phone feels hot when you haven't used it for hours.
