THREAT MATRIX 2010 #3
Free Republic Threat Matrix | May 2, 2010 | TM Crew

Posted on 05/02/2010 4:49:06 PM PDT by MestaMachine

There is no war as far as our president is concerned. There are no Islamic Terrorists, only a few rogue extremists. There is no REAL Jihad. Jihad is simply a "spiritual journey" to Allah, the most merciful. So he says. Islam, to his mind, has contributed so much to the world, after all, since Mohammed's slaughter of the Jews at Medina.
Judging by Obama's actions in the recent weeks and months, he no doubt would have agreed the Jews deserved what they got from the "religion of peace." He continues the onslaught in the name of "social justice" and "human rights"...for them. But not for us, US.
It isn't America that Islam despises, it is the Jews. And all we need do to remedy that is to turn the Jews over for just punishment...and they will love America for it. Peace would reign in the world if only America would stop its support of those wicked Jews in Israel.
Unfortunately, his view is not shared by Al Qaeda. Nor would it be shared by the satanic character of Mohammed who ordered the butchering of innocents to further his mad quest for power.
This is excerpted from the latest Al Qaeda screed from Yahya al-Libi:

Abu Yahya Al-Libi

All Americans Must Be Killed Even If They Capitulate

Top Al Qaeda leader Abu Yahya Al-Libi is out with a new, and particularly grim, tract comparing America to the Bani Quraidah, a Jewish tribe that once came into conflict with Mohammed, resulting in all the adult males being killed, and the women and children being taken as slaves, according to a mix of hadith and Quranic sources.

The takeaway from this 20-page work is rather specific and quite possibly a signpost to trouble ahead.
Al-Libi is arguing:

1) The harshest punishment is justified for those who ally themselves with the enemies of Islam, even if those people do not commit overt acts against Muslims.

2) That punishment, in the case of the Quraidah, was that all of the adult males were killed and all women and children taken as slaves. Al-Libi goes out of his way to point out that this punishment was meted out after the Quraidah surrendered.

3) The United States meets the same criteria for judgment as the Quraidah.

The expansion of the conflict here is in keeping with Al Qaeda's practices, although I don't recall seeing it stated so bluntly and justified so elaborately before.

Basically, Al-Libi is saying that every adult male American ought to be killed, whether or not they submit to the judgment of Muslims (meaning Al Qaeda, of course,) whether or not they have specifically taken up arms against Muslims, and whether or not they continue to be at war with Muslims.

Or, to use his words, they are to be killed "not just as a punishment for the crime which they have committed in the past" but "to cut off the very substance of their evil." He specifically includes prisoners taken on the battlefield in this category, although he takes pains to say that his point is much broader.

Something not right? Go with your gut. Report it.

Well, okay. I can go along with that. I figure though they've got their hands full with our guys romping in their backyards right now so they really aren't free to romp in our backyards anytime soon. So we have to prioritize and kill the ones posing the most immediate threat to the homeland. Including and maybe especially those muzzie jihadists that currently LIVE inside our homeland.

I agree with everything you've written, here.

Especially the last two sentences about the immediate threats to us here at home. I don't differentiate between any of the different sects of muzzie jihadists; they all need to be eradicated!

NYC Bomb Attack

ALL are excerpts:

THIS is interesting and I haven't seen this reported elsewhere. Might be just me. Has anyone else seen this?

Military recruiters target of Times Square bomb?

Police and FBI agents are investigating a 911 call placed at 4 a.m. Sunday from a public telephone near Times Square warning of an imminent explosion.

According to a news report, the car bomb in NYC was only “a diversion.”

“The fireworks seem very screwy,” Charles Faddis, who headed the CIA Counterterrorism Center’s weapons of mass destruction unit when he retired in 2008, said by e-mail.

“The only rational reason to use a firework of some kind would be as a fuse. If you have a simple mechanical fuse, why do you have clocks? Either you are confused-inexperienced-crazy, or you are just messing with people for some reason,” Faddis added.

Faddis, also author of “Willful Neglect, The Dangerous Illusion of Homeland Security,” said “terrorist groups all around the world have run probing ops in the past. Leave a package outside an embassy and then watch how security deals with it.”

“Let's hope it is not the latter, because that would imply some very smart boys have something much bigger in mind,” he said.

******************************
Something much bigger in mind....
********************

First mention of the metal locker which was reported by Fox's David Lee Miller on Sunday morning:

Video from Times Square may show would-be bomber

In the rear of the SUV, police found a makeshift bomb made up of three tanks of propane similar to those used in backyard barbecues; two jugs of gasoline; dozens of M-88 firecrackers, which are legal for purchase in some states, and metal gun case holding 100 pounds of fertilizer that police said was incapable of exploding.
************************************
They reported the fertilizer, but not the metal locker.
***********************************

Interesting as well, the keyring left in the ignition contained ten/twelve other keys.
The car was stolen from Connecticut. The plate was from a repair shop in Connecticut.
(Owner of repair shop is cooperating.)
What are the OTHER car keys? Garage mechanic? junkyard?

This looks eerily like a dry run. EVERYTHING about this is just too obvious. ALL for show. Including the fact that the vin number was filed off and blacked out on the vehicle's sticker. A mechanic would know vin numbers are easily located elsewhere on the vehicle.
*************************

Police Seek Man Taped Near Times Sq. Bomb Scene

The gun locker, which weighed about 75 pounds empty and upward of 200 pounds with the eight bags of fertilizer in it, could provide important clues because it was likely to be more easily traced than many of the other items found in the S.U.V.

The weight of the locker and the material inside raised questions as to whether it might have required more than one person to load it into the vehicle.

Identifying the owner of the Pathfinder — an important development, according to one official — was achieved through the S.U.V.’s vehicle identification number, which had been stripped from the car’s dashboard but was stamped on other car parts, like the engine block and axle.

The police and F.B.I. officials were also investigating a 911 call placed around 4 a.m. Sunday that described the failed bombing as a diversion before a bigger explosion, two law enforcement officials said, although Mr. Kelly said there was no record of that call.
****************************
There is a lot more to this story.

100 pounds in a metal box (the metal box, from the data out there would weigh 400-600 lbs by it self). What - worth mounting an elaborate testing run targeting Times Square - does that remind you of?

US unlikely to respond to biological threat with nuclear strike, experts say

Snips: "The notion that we are in imminent danger of confronting a scenario in which hundreds of thousands of people are dying in the streets of New York as a consequence of a biological weapons attack is fanciful," said Michael Moodie, a consultant who served as assistant director for multilateral affairs in the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency during the George H.W. Bush administration.

No terrorist group would be capable of pulling off a massive biological attack, nor would it be deterred by the threat of nuclear retaliation, he added.

Officials increasingly see international link in Times Square bomb attempt

Snip: Another U.S. official, recounting a conversation with intelligence officials, said, "Don't be surprised if you find a foreign nexus. . . . They're looking at some tell-tale signs and they're saying it's pointing in that direction."

The book, “The Dangerous Illusion of Homeland Security” by Faddis, mentioned in the earlier article I posted, is now, at this very moment, making its rounds on the Taliban and Al Qaeda websites. They are going to use what this book has claimed to reek havoc on us. Make no mistake. We are being set up.

Thank you. Read the INDEX in this thing.
The jihadis are delighted over this book. They are talking about it on almost every one of their forums, here, and overseas.
The chatter, which had slowed down a lot for a couple of months, has reached epic proportions right now. Pay attention. Get ready.
I am NOT kidding.
We have been hit this weekend with an OMG moment. A dry run. Something huge is coming.

The whitehouse has been keeping information under a blackout. They knew about what a disaster the Louisiana oil rig explosion was within six hours. They refused to allow an emergency NOAA team to deploy, even though the team did NOT need their permission to act. WHY would they be ordered, absent a request from NOAA, and in the midst of making deployment preparations, to STAND DOWN???

WHY did obama choose to go to NC for a vacation? WHY, even though they were within minutes of their destination, did obama decide to pull off on the side of the road and go walking in the WOODS for over an hour?

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg tells CBS’ Katie Couric that the Times Square car bomber was someone who is “mentally deranged” with a “political agenda” that didn’t like the health care bill.

Exclusive: Tapes show Hakeemullah Mehsud is alive and threatens attacks in the US

Hakeemullah Mehsud

TWO TAPES HERE

Two tapes were sent today to The Long War Journal by a group identifying itself as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, or the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan. The same group sent a link earlier today to The Long War Journal to a YouTube video of Qari Hussain Mehsud claiming that the Taliban carried out the failed May 1 car bomb attack in New York City's Times Square.

The two Hakeemullah tapes consist of a videotape of Hakeemullah flanked by two masked fighters, and an audiotape with images of Hakeemullah superimposed over a map of the US with explosions in the background. In both tapes, Hakeemullah claimed that the Taliban have infiltrated the US and that their operatives would launch attacks in American cities.

The videotape was produced on April 4, while the audiotape was produced on April 19, according to Hakeemullah. The tapes provide the first definitive dates to prove he is alive since he issued an audiotape on Jan. 16, just two days after he was thought killed in a US strike in the Pasalkot region in North Waziristan. Hakeemullah was also reported dead on two subsequent occasions. On the videotape, Hakeemullah specifically mentioned the report of his death on Feb. 9, when a Pakistani TV channel claimed he died near Multan. "Sometimes they say [I was killed] in a Drone attack, mostly giving references of Shaktai or Arukzai and sometimes they say we martyred him on his way to Multan," Hakeemullah said.

Hakeemullah used much of the audio and video tapes to warn the US that his followers have been dispatched to the US to carry out strikes in the major cities and "states."

"The time is very near when our fedayeen will attack the American states in their major cities," Hakeemullah said. "And Inshallah (god willing) we will give extremely painful blows to the fanatic America."

"Inshallah very soon in some days or a month's time, the Muslim ummah will see the fruits of most successful attacks of our fedayeen in USA."
