I really believe that Obama and his liberal brain trust thought they could facilitate shipping Quadafi’s arms to Syrian jihadists to overthrow Assad. The whole thing blew up in their face and if the American people get the headline ......obama arming AlQaeda...shtf!!

That is the headline though and we have to keep spreading it. It doesn’t matter what the stupid logic was to do such a stupid thing....bottome line...it was stupid and possibly treasonous. Obama watched American heros die and did nothing!! It doesn’t get any worse than that IMHO and the opinion of millions of Americans will be the same.

In the past, I have never thought not Jarrett. In this case, I have to step back and think awhile. My instinct in this case is NOT Jarrett.

There are so many moving parts....

1) From where and why did the trailer video come into play so early in the morning of Sept 11, before any Cairo demonstration and any Benghazi attack? Rhetorical question.

2) The video was retracted/advanced nearly simultaneously by many Adm agencies

3) The trigger button was activated immediately 9:40pm Benghazi time/ 3:40pm Washington time to view/listen real-time to the Benghazi attack to 12 CommandComs globally.

I’m thinking all of this was out of Jarret’s league. Obama was making/following decisions on the advice of someone else, not Jarrett.

No one, including Obama, went to bed until this was over and transport was arranged for the survivors and the deceased.

That attributes to her more than I have seen evidence for or stomach to contemplate. That would put her in the category of historic legend--- a select few. Think of it--- what a squalid, parochial criminal to earn such exalted opprobrium.

I do keep in mind, however, that history has sunk that low.

She has and holds her position by virtue of having the confidence of both Michelle and Barrack. I think it ends there.

I'm still thinking. For what you suggest to be true, Jarrett would have to be betraying both Michelle and Barack.

BOMBSHELL: US troops in Benghazi would not have been painting targets on the ground unless there was air support overhead. But someone called it off – And the decision most likely came from the White House.

FOX News reported earlier today that security officers on the ground in Benghazi had a laser planted on a target that was firing on the annex.

The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.

So there were two drones in the air recording the attack on the ground. And now we know the CIA team at the annex was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. The White House was able to watch the attack live back in Washington DC. Yet, yesterday Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said this,

“The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over.”

How much more information did they need?

Then there’s this bombshell at BlackFive from a former Delta operator:

Having spent a good bit of time nursing a GLD (ground Laser Designator) in several garden spots around the world, something from the report jumped out at me.

One of the former SEALs was actively painting the target. That means that Specter WAS ON STATION! Probably an AC130U. A ground laser designator is not a briefing pointer laser. You do not “paint” a target until the weapons system/designator is synched; which means that the AC130 was on station.

Only two places could have called off the attack at that point; the WH situation command (based on POTUS direction) or AFRICOM commander based on information directly from the target area.

If the AC130 never left Sigonella (as Penetta says) that means that the Predator that was filming the whole thing was armed.

If that SEAL was actively “painting” a target; something was on station to engage! And the decision to stand down goes directly to POTUS!

This is HUGE. It should be obvious by now that someone is not telling the truth. As Blackfive says,

“This is bigger than Watergate!… The worst has to be the team on the ground knowing that the President just left you to die.“

A caller today discussed this with Rush Limbaugh.

Here is part of that conversation.

CALLER: Well, there’s three networks, Rush. The e-mails that have been released are unclassified e-mails. On the top secret side, a flash traffic message from the embassy Tripoli to the White House Situation Room, it’s like an IM. I mean, it’s immediately responded to. You have to acknowledge receipt of it. Okay? So it’s immediate. It gets to the person, the watch officer sitting there, boom, flashes on his screen, he has to acknowledge receipt. And then there’s a protocol for who he then sends it to. He physically turns to someone, the senior guy on watch, “This is a critical element of information. POTUS needs to hear this,” and that’s what would have happened.

So no one in the White House can deny that — well, they can deny it, but the fact is the protocol says someone marched their happy little ass up to the senior guy standing next to POTUS and said, “Sir, ambassador in Libya is in peril.” And if he was missing, that is even a higher precedence. And then the chain would have also gone out automatically to the geographic combatant commander, AFRICOM, and he would have then turned to his special operations commander and said, “I want the In-Extremis Force, you know, strip ready in five minutes.” And evidently they were strip ready in Sigonella and they would have the assets to penetrate the airspace, you know, an MC-130 papa, which is a C-130 specially equipped with electronic countermeasures. They didn’t need permission to enter Libyan airspace, okay?

I’m giving you a lot of Inside Baseball stuff, and maybe putting myself in a little peril by doing it, but the In-Extremis Force, they would have been chomping at the bit to do this. It was turned down, POTUS, at his five p.m. Eastern time meeting with the principals, that’s when he put the kibosh on everything. It was a conscious act. It has to be because, you know, the In-Extremis Force is required to be prepared to do In-Extremis non-combatant evacuation operations for its geographic responsibility, the entire continent of Africa. So there’s always somebody ready to go, and the aircraft are always prepared to go.

On Hannity tonight, being questioned about the refusal to help, an emotional Chaffetz said this:

“....I went to Libya. I visited with Gen Ham, who is the 4-star Gen there in charge of the continent of Africa. I asked him if he had the capability, if he had the proximity, the answer was, Yes.

But I said, Why didn’t we act? And he said, Because he wasn’t asked to. Now he’s a 4-star general. There aren’t many people between him and the President. Somebody did not decide to take action.”

I was a SEAL officer and was in many joint and combined operational planning meetings etc. This is called a "NEO" operation, for Non-combatant Evacuation Operation. Every embassy and consulate has and practices all kinds of emergency evac plans, in concert with the US military. For example, Marines and SEALs practice NEO ops prior to deploying on a float, as a VERY high priority mission. They involve full dress rehearsals, with "civilian" role players, helos, landing craft, rounding up stranded stragglers, fighting your way to LZs while protecting a gaggle of civilians down to babies etc. Conducting successful NEO ops is a TOP TOP TOP military and state dept. mission priority.

When the alarm goes worldwide that an embassy or consulate is being attacked, the entire U.S. military swings into rescue mode, without waiting for any orders from the White House. The military does all of the operational planning and begins to execute the rescue op.

The one thing they CAN'T do is cross an international border without permission from POTUS. So the US Military will be inbound full-steam-ahead to make the rescue, and all they need from POTUS is a "proceed" order. In this case, they got a "stand down" instead.

This is at the POTUS level, it is not a decision taken at State. State and the military (JCS) should be in the Situation Room with POTUS soon after a critical incident like this begins, so all decisions can be made in real time. (I have heard nowhere that POTUS went into the Situation Room. Oval office briefly, but not down to the Situation Room, where the "war planning" screens and commo tools are all located.)

But if POTUS punts after the brief Oval Office meeting with Dempsey and Hillary and goes upstairs to the family quarters....the stranded Americans will die.

Only POTUS can give the order to cross international borders. Only POTUS can allow US warplanes to give air support to Americans battling on the ground in a foreign country. If POTUS makes himself unavailable, the Americans will die.

Even the VEEP or Sec State cannot make that call. The VEEP can only do it if the POTUS is determined to be medically unable to perform his functions. If the POTUS goes upstairs and turns off his phone, there is nothing anybody can do about it. Nothing.

Thank you, Matt. I knew this but somehow seeing it in black and white straight up made my blood run cold. I also know that this will not stand and it will not pass by. I watched a friend who appeared on Fox yesterday and he was speaking through gritted teeth. The anger is palpable. The need for righteous justice is too high. And that is all I have to say about that.

I see you were up late last night!! Same thing happened to me the night before. We worry and fear for our country. I guess my feelings about Jarrett start with her being raised by communists, just like Obama. Her family were also of Iranian bloodlines. My instincts about her stem from there and a book I read years ago called Unholy Alliance. A book about the alliance between radical leftists /communists and radical Islam. One thing I do know is that this whole cabal surrounding this president does not have this country’s best interests at heart. Jarrett would not be betraying Obama or Michelle because they are commies too. She is Obama’s brain and he likes it that way. He just wants to run around hangin with the glitterati.

I keep waiting to see if there is one honorable general or admiral left. The State Dept and CIA, I expect them to all be backstabbing lying weasels. But in DOD, I expect better.

Perhaps the next “Doug” will out himself in public on a talking head show, and state what we all know: Obama went to bed, and his “no action” orders could not be countermanded until he woke up again on the 12th, as the smoke was clearing.

Put the time of death of the SEALs aside. The Ambassador was MISSING for hours and hours after that. A missing Ambassador in Al Queda Benghazi is a thousand times worse than a few dead contract soldiers and some State dept staffers. An AMBASSADOR possibly in AQ hands?

This is DISASTER LEVEL INFINITY.

And Obama went to bed.

We have to have our military standing up to this epic scandal. I notice that Andy Card is making the rounds on TV and you can bet your last dime that he is out there speaking for our last CIC. I can only imagine how heart sick President Bush must be right now hearing about Obama abandoning our military. Say what you want about Bush, but one thing he never failed was our military men and women. He has shed some tears over these revelations without a doubt! I hope and pray that some of the heros that he put in place around DC step up to expose Obama and his whole cabal!!
