The Faithful believe the first 3 Books of the Bible were written by God himself.

I do.
Genesis is the first Book.
If one believes God created all there is. That He put every star in the heavens and every grain of sand on earth, then one must believe that if the Bible was wrong or had an error in it, wouldn’t God have the power, the ability to fix it to the way He wants it?
I think the idea that ‘God created all there is’ was a pretty natural, intuitive human notion from the start of man’s ability to think about it; and it shows up in many religions.
That isn’t proof that all of our various religious texts were actually written down by God.
Never heard anyone claim various religious text are written by God.
Just the first 3 Books of the Bible.
I can’t speak for Islam, Buddhist, Pagan, or anyone else’s text.
Didn’t think I was out to prove anything.
You asked me a question, I gave an answer based solely on my belief.
Based on my Faith.
I’m pretty well known for giving the answer I believe to be correct and not necessarily the answer someone wants.

I believe there have always been inspired people - visionaries and prophets - who have sensed Truth and tried to share it with us as they perceived it. But I think it has always had to go through the filter of the merely human mentality, as well as often being put into metaphorical terms that the people might understand.
