Abortion opponents are pressing state and local governments to stop sending taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood, arguing that the nonprofit group has plenty of cash and shouldn't be granted scarce public funds at a time of economic crisis.

Hallelujah! This should have happened YEARS and DECADES ago, but glad it is being pushed now. :-D. Let’s hope, pray, and fight for its success.
One of the things that has always outraged me is that by our tax dollars being sent to amoral things, it makes us a party to those amoral things. In the past I have written congresscritters, representatives, everyone I could think of, zero results, in a nutshell they couldn’t care less.
Gee. And this is controversial. Defunding the Democrats’ death camps.

Not exactly a new front. I support this effort 100%, but it’s not going to be easy.
Most of the pro-life organizations are hurting for donations in these difficult times, but Planned Parenthood has money coming out of its ears, and uses it freely to bribe the politicians for more.
Abortion is a losing proposition at the polls, which is why Obama covered up his record except when seeking support from Planned Parenthood. But it is a winning proposition for fund raising, not only because the abortionists contribute big bucks, but because a disproportionate number of rich country clubbers support it.
I have yet to try this, but... ask a pro- planned parenthood this question -
“If planned parenthood is a ‘pro-choice’ organization, do you believe that they have ever tried to talk someone OUT of an abortion?”
I happen to know a fair number of country clubbers (although unfortunately I can’t afford to join the clubs). Even some of the more conservative ones who vote Republican are active supporters of Planned Parenthood.
Basically, rich people tend to find abortion convenient, for themselves and their kids. If something awkward should happen, just get rid of it, so there is no public scandal.
