various links and websites

At the request of members, I am restarting those "Tales from the Dark UnderBelly Of the Beast"-- the stories and issues that the press and media either ignore, won't even talk about, or will mention once and forevermore claim "it's old news..."
Naturally, some will be stories which interest me, or things I think we all need to be aware of.
I am experimenting with a minor change in presentation- when I can, I will cut to
-GoogleNewsBeta--
with a keyword or two and see what kind of links to "mainstream" stories I can find in contrast to what we see here and on other sites.
May I remind you of a couple of points to bear in mind?
Each link usually has many other links within- follow them all to get "the rest of the story."
Don't forget the "open multiple browsers" trick with control-n -- this allows you to hold your place with one, and use the others to follow links, run searches, etc.
Rather than go back and rehash old links, I'll give you links to the original posts here:
-DUBOB 10- the *best of* the Dark Underbelly Series--
-DUBOB 9-- even *more* tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast..... --
DUBOB 8-- still *more* tales from the Underbelly***
DUBOB 7-- even *more* tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast.....
DUBOB 6-- yet *more* tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast.....
DUBOB 5-- even *more* tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast.....
DUBOB IV- yet more Tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast-
DUBOB III -- "Tales from the Dark Underbelly of the Beast"
DUBOB 2-- more tales from The Dark Underbelly of the Beast-- thread II
-The Dark Underbelly of the Beast- Stories the Media won't Discuss...--

This is why the libs hate talk radio and the internet. Before the rise of "alternative media", none of this would have seen the light of day. Now middle America can strike back...and its driving the libs nuts.
When I was a kid rioting was a shoot on sight event, at least I thought it was. Today it seems more like a blue light special.

Do yourself a favor and stop by a local bookstore with a request that they put your order in early. And be sure to pick up a copy for any collegian you know, and recent graduates as well. History has provided few examples as great as Reagan's, and Robinson's book reminds all readers just how inspiring that example can be.
"Indeed, writes Morris, "in the two months before Election Day '96, the Times ran no stories on its front page about Paula Jones, the Rose Law Firm, Hillary's billing records and only lightly covered Whitewater."
I wondered if I heard right. Did the top editor of The New York Times just imply that they'd pull their punches over Whitewater, Paula Jones, the Rose Law Firm, Hillary's billing records, the Web Hubbell hush money and the rest of the scandals that had emerged from Clinton's Arkansas Pandora's Box - all in return for an interview?
"for eight years we were on the right course to a globalized and integrated world - which is coming, one way or the other."
Like this?
More links:
"Women overwhelmingly supported Hillary because we felt she would represent our voice," says feminist activist Jodie Evans. "But it turns out she's pretty much from the old-boy school. She's moved by money and power."
One Hillary fan lost it completely. He grabbed a traffic cone and held it touching Kristinn's megaphone, in effect, muzzling the megaphone temporarily. Fairfax' finest came over and the officer set him straight.
Beautiful? Looks below average to me...

Good work on the compilation thread. That url should be sent to every Rat who opens his/her trap on WMD, every time they open it.

"Gee, think anyone on the Left will dare criticize their hero Castro for being anti-gay?!"
And so the evidence accumulates. And yet, 50 years later, the true believers continue in their denial.

Alligator Attacks, Kills 12-Year-Old Boy
www.local6.com ^ | POSTED: 10:39 p.m. EDT June 18, 2003 | www.local6.com
The American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) is an endangered species, and as such, cannot be killed but upon approval from the Congress. The life of the alligator obviously takes precedence over human life. In any case, using a gun might set a bad example and teach children that the Second Amendment applies to them. And we wouldn't want that to happen, would we? </liberal rant>

I made a special point of outreaching to Arab and Muslim Americans...In light of my pro-Muslim track record, readers will share my astonishment at the vicious firestorm of abuse that has been directed at me personally following a widely made observation about contemporary Islam.
Thirty or more years ago, the price that consumers paid for any item in the US included a few percentage points of de facto taxes. Today, virtually any item purchased in America is about fifty percent de facto taxes (ie gov't regulations and such). Back out that fifty percent, and prices have actually been in a deflationary trend for several decades.

The democratic party has a tendency to feel pity for anyone not white or non white male. He's a native american, he's got pride and he does not like being treated with pity.
Of all the absurdities Democrats have endorsed over the years, perhaps this one would finally incite the public to damn them.
Not holding my breath.
Murder has become the sixth pillar of Islam, according to the terrorists. Where are the Muslim leaders to denounce this?
Speaking of frauds?
. I very much believe the attacks against President Bush and the Iraq war are being waged from the Clinton's war room, partly to cover up the national security failures of that adminstration.
"How comforting it is to know that Medea Benjamin, apostle of Fidel Castro, a woman who thinks Cuba’s communist dictatorship is the paradigm of democracy, has appointed herself the guarantor of our democracy."

Media Research Center ^ | 6/19/03 | Tim Graham
What a coincidence. Two years apart CBS News and ABC News featured the same elderly woman, in news stories about the need for a new prescription drug coverage program in Medicare and the shortcomings of Republican-pushed alternatives, as the poster victim of high prescription prices.
The only comment I can make re this initiative is--Lord save us! We are getting closer and closer to Hitlary healthcare, at which time we will all be equal--that is no one will have decent affordable health care.

Those on the bottom become vicious... They exaggerate the power of
their foes. They invent malevolent conspiracy theories to explain their unfortunate position...The conservatives spent many years "on the bottom", and.. this didn't happen to them to any great degree. Yet, the liberals spend a few short years out of power and this describes them to a tee...

This guy is a world class liar, the lineal descendant of Stalin's publicists.
The barbed hook of hatred didn't really get set until the governor of Arkansas's campaign for the presidency began.
The dirty tactics and disregard for law, much less ethics, that permeated Little Rock were institutionalized in the Clinton White House and metamorphosed into Democratic mafioso as the Permanent Campaign waged as unending political warfare. FBI files, Communist money, perjury, character assassination became the new MO for the party of Roosevelt.

Do I understand correctly that the forged documents were obtained after the documents that David Blair found?
So Galloway had the forgeries made and made sure that they were publicized, he allows a bit of time to pass, and then they're discovered to be forgeries, casting doubt in the public's minds on Blair's genuine documents.

I'm sure that some of what Morris says may be vengeful for how he was treated by the Clintons; however, as Morris concludes on the webpage, "In hindsight, Clinton left us naked and unprepared for the perils of terrorism."

Dems Have Not Dropped Gun Control AgendaFox News ^ | Saturday, June 21, 2003 | John Lott, Jr.Democrats waiting until
'the issue is ripe' betray the fact that they are merely an opportunistic infection of the body politic. They are praying for the economy to tank, a gun disaster larger than Columbine, etc. That will be their
lever to push opinion their way. The bigger the calamity, the bigger the lever.

Global Crossing, Enron and TimeWarner/ATT/AOL/Netscape are all great supporters of the Democrat party; I certainly wonder if Edwards includes them on his list or swindlers/captains of industry....
Isn't it strange that the Media is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to create TV shows that appeal to less that one percent of the population...
Maybe they need to wake up to the possibility that America itself woke up after 9/11 and we realize what fools they truly are. You're paid puppets who's sole function is to dance and entertain us.
This is all so 60's. No wonder the other side is floundering. On the other hand, they got their wish: America has moved on.
