Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Barack Obama has promised he will force taxpayers to fund abortions and a leading pro-life group has launched a new effort to stop it. The Susan B. Anthony List is hoping to build support for a Senate filibuster to stop various moves to fund abortions with public money.
The group calls Obama's promise to fund abortions and send more tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business, an abortion industry bailout.
Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser tells LifeNews.com that the bailout plans came in the supposed-to-be secret memo the Obama transition team posted on its web site.
President-elect Barack Obama spoke of finding common ground on abortion policy, but abortion advocacy groups clearly see an open door, she says.
After a decade of commonsense restrictions on taxpayer funding, the abortion industry thinks it deserves a bailout from Obama," Dannenfelser continued. "Today the Susan B. Anthony List launched its Stop the Abortion Bailout campaign to mobilize thousands of activists across the country."
Dannenfelser said her group would urge pro-life advocates across the country to contact members of Congress to oppose any move to fund abortions or abortion businesses.
"Americans will send letters to their Senators with the goal of securing the 41 votes necessary to sustain a Senate filibuster of the abortion bailout," she said.
"We look forward to delivering the votes Senator McConnell needs to ensure our hard-earned taxpayer dollars stay out of abortionists coffers, especially since national abortion numbers are already on the decline," Dannenfelser told LifeNews.com.
The memo calls for one billion dollars in taxpayer funds for international abortion groups like International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes International, a British-based abortion business.
It seeks a 133% increase in funding for the Title X program, which funds Planned Parenthood facilities nationwide. Groups call for increasing funds from $300 to $700 million in federal taxpayer funds.
The groups also want to repeal every budgetary rider restricting federal abortion funding, including the long-standing Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the use of federal taxpayer funds for abortion through the Medicaid and Medicare programs.

Like,, McCain is going to support filibusters. He’s out there now attacking Republicans for trashing Obama over this Senate seat thing. McCain is out there today,, doing what he does best,, supporting Democrats and undercutting fellow Republicans. He is going to be working hand in hand with Obama on just about everything.

Murder Inc. aka Planned Parenthood, together with B Hussein 0bama want tax payers to pay for abortion. They giggle with glee at the thought of conservatives being forced against their will to pay for murder by abortion.
If we don't stop this how much longer will it be before they promote euthanasia clinics, and have us pay for it.

Unfortunately elections have consequences. The Obama voter will have to answer for this, whether his vote was willful pro-murder or ignorant irresponsible citizenship.
Judgment also comes in time, as evil has consequences. The pro-murder anti-child policy worldwide is having a profound effect of global demographics. pyramid schemes like Social security, or universal health care will fail because of it, since they require more younger and healthier individuals to pay for those who are older or sick.
You cannot kill 50,000,000 babies in this country, plus cut of their children and grand children, which they did not have, without profoundly affecting even the economy.
I hope we can prevent some of this by a filibuster in the Senate, but that is at this point a rather feeble hope. All they have to do is pass the basics and the president can do the rest by implementing it through executive order.

Elections have consequences and the constituency better wake up if abortion is truly a concern. I don’t understand how the destruction of prenatal life is so easily accepted.

http://abclocal.go.com/kfsn/story?section=news/local&id=6559126
Fresno, CA, USA (KFSN) — Hard financial times are having an impact on non-profit health care centers, like Planned Parenthood. We’re not talking about a lack of funding but a significant increase in demand for services.
One service Planned Parenthood has experienced a notable increase in is abortions. It could be the first such increase in almost 20 years.
“As people are losing their jobs they are losing their health insurance.”
Many of those people who no longer have employer-provided health care or cannot afford their co-payments are turning to Planned Parenthood in big numbers. The non-profit health center has seen an increase in patient visits of eight-percent in the past year.
Planned Parenthoods Patsy Montgomery said, “We have more and more families who need access to family planning ... and to basic reproductive healthcare.”
Planned Parenthood clinics in Fresno now see about 140 patients a day...Public Affairs Director Patsy Montgomery says 97% of those patients come here for birth control, annual exams, pre-natal care, S.T.D tests, breast exams, and education services ... but the remaining three-percent are here for abortions.
“That is probably the saddest kind of increase, but they are glad that we’re here. It makes up about less than three-percent of what we do, but if you look back a year ago, it made up one-percent,” said Montgomery.
The increase, they believe is due to the tough economy.
Theresa Fuentes said, “The economy is making women think just a little bit differently— the family size, how they are dealing with that and the choices they are making because they don’t have enough income.”
Theresa Fuentez is registered nurse who counsels women who choose to abort ... More of them are now in their 30’s and 40’s.
“They have their partner, they have their families, they have their children and they’re just having such a hard time with making that decision,” said Fuentes.
“If this is true— this would be the first time that we’ve seen an abortion increase since 1990,” said Josh Brahm.
Right to Life Central California Director Josh Brahm is not surprised by the increase, but says help is available for women whose finances are pushing them towards abortion.
“There are so many different programs that people have no idea about that can help them in these tough times— so we would like them to know about that so that they don’t have to make this choice to help their wallet,” said Brahm.
Planned Parenthood offers referrals and resources to women— no matter what option they choose, whether to have the baby, abort or give the baby up for adoption. Right to Life Central California refers women in financial need to “Pregnancy Care Centers”— they have an office in Downtown Fresno that offers a variety of free health care services.

The group calls Obama's promise to fund abortions and send more tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business, an abortion industry bailout. The Left is ingenious about some things, and one of them is clever slogans. This is an excellent slogan, and unlike liberal slogans, it's true.
